Either there is a giant difference in service, or the positive ones are fake. I bought a large package with LinkedIn, Cover letter, thank you letter and resume writing.
I sent them two resumes, linked in profiles, my cover letter etc to ensure that they had as much data as possible.
I ended up receiving template letters, a resume that was the wierdest ever with dates all wrong and a total misunderstanding in what it is I do.
The Linked in service was a template that was filled out with the really bad resume.
I ended up spending an entire evening rewriting everything and sending it back with word tracking.
5 days later I receive more-or-less the same package I just sent to them. I wrote back and said that at lease they could fill out the LinkedIn template correctly since I've paid 400 bucks for it. And that was it... never heard from them again.
Don't just don't buy anything from them. They aren't interested in helping. Only to make money.

I expected much more than was given. My resume was returned to me literally in paragraphs. I felt if I was a busy professional, there was no way I would read through that layout and was shocked it was presented as an option.
The "accomplishments" that were listed incorrectly listed under the wrong companies, not relevant to jobs that I had provided I wanted to apply for (and yes I am qualified) and extremely vague. Who lists "wide range of responsibilities" as a qualification? Begs too many questions and isn't an impressive statement.
I was very disappointed. What is worse is that since they "delivered" the product to me they refused to give me a refund. I won't be able to use the resume and instead of saving time now have to re-write the entire thing.
Don't waste your time or $.

Since I cannot view your resume on sitejabber, I cannot comment on the accomplishments section. However, the accomplishments should not be incorrectly listed with wrong companies. I was surprised that the level of writing was so inferior compared to a high school student and that is being polite. Dont waste your money especially if you are expecting someone to comprehend what you do and actually help you market yourself. I would call this service a resume formatting service not a writing service.

Based out of my experience I would not recommend this service. I had two writers assigned to complete the resume, out of which neither knew how to write a resume without spelling errors. Plus they only use one template for everyone which is a very old template from MS Word from some 15 years ago. All revisions made were ignored and they just do not keep document versioning from your comments to theirs. In my case, it was obvious that the writers were not acquainted with my field of work as many words and phrases used were generic and even redundant. To top on to all that the service is very slow to deliver the first draft, but afterward, they push to complete all revisions (2) within a week of first draft delivery.

I'm very sorry to hear about your experience. We do not use one template for everyone, in fact, we don't have templates at all. A lot of times resumes turn out to look similar because both resumes are formatted and written to meet industry standards. Even though there are similarities, each customer will still get an individualized resume.
First drafts can take up to 7 days, and the revision period is also 7 days. The first draft takes some time to be delivered because that is the bulk of the resume re-write process. Revisions can be done very quickly with collaboration and feedback.
I was very pleased with the service provided by TopResume. They took my existing resume and brought it up to date. They improved the focus on existing skills and past accomplishments and created a very impressive product. The process is interactive and the writer is very responsive to any questions and concerns you might have during the process.
I was really surprised and impressed with the great feedback I received from TopResume for free! Their comments targeted issues I know I need to address. I especially enjoyed learning about the software and tools recruiters use to read resumes. Im definitely hiring them!
The resume I received has so much misinformation on it I was unable to use it. They did rewrite it for me and it contained a grammatical error! Complete waste of time and money. Don't make the same mistake I made --stay away

I had expected a free review to be vague but the review I received was very thorough and specific. I feel much more confident after using their advice.
I paid $450,00 for this service. I received a resume that was subpar at best. Missed job opportunities and would NOT recommend this service to anyone. In the end I went to Mullin to get my resume and LinkedIn profile completed correctly and professionally.
Very disappointing and no refund or critique from the company on the resume that my "supposed" top writer gave me. A JOKE and expensive lesson, especially when unemployed through restructuring.
Here is what I was given for my last position by my supposed professional resume top writers,
"ACCOUNT ANALYST
Managed the preparation and analysis ACH Reject reports from bank, stop, and reissue checks. Performed accounting analysis to identify areas for financial improvement and determine banking strategies and profitable investments"
That's it! No bullet points... Nothing, no refund nothing, paid $50 to get my resume in 2 days, got it a week later refused to refund the $50... Buyer beware.

This service is amazing! TopResume showed me all the flaws of my resume and how I can stand out just by rewording and formatting. The ATS system they put my resume through described me as a person too. It described how I would fit best in a technical field such as engineering and I'm currently going to college for my mechanical engineering degree (which I thought was strangely accurate). My only issue with the service is the price; I don't understand why TopResume is free. Can someone explain?
I ought to have read the reviews before I found myself here stating exactly what others have stated. This is a scam. There is no follow through. The writers are incompetent at best. Poor grammar, spelling, formatting... the worst part was the lack of focus on what I actually did in my previous jobs... it is as though the writer worked off of three key words that were not even ones that focused on my accomplishments!

I through USD 170 in the toilet with Top Resume. Their write up resume was useless I can not use it and worse than my original resume. I regret that I contacted them. I will make a complain to BBB for this $#*! hole TopResume $#*!

I was excited to get a professional opinion and rewrite on my resume. Until I saw what they had written. First, the look was terrible. Serif font and an odd length of 1.3 pages. Yes, one full page, then some of the next page! The next thing I noticed was that the job that was in big bold letters isn't a title I have ever held. Under that the bullet said I was this title I wasn't, in an industry I've never worked in! Scrolling through the body of the document was even worse. I highlighted everything that was false and about 90% of the page ended up with a red comment. The writer clearly didn't understand the jargon of the industry I work in, but tried to write sentences like she understood and it just sounded embarrassing. I would NEVER use the product that I was provided!

Overall a great experience! Jamie was thoughtful and thorough; reached out to me whenever there were questions. They even did an additional review and made more modifications as they got to know me! They did such a great job with my resume, i had them rewrite my linked in profile too! I would suggest everyone make the investment!
I was VERY DISPLEASE with the resume I received back from TopResume. The only thing that was changed was format which I could have done with Word resume search, the words were exactly the same and on top of that there were spelling errors. Don't waste your money using TopResume. Go to Word and search resumes. They had the nerve to want to write another resume for me. I hope they were kidding. I have contacted the BBB and eyewitness news because I wanted my money back and topresume would not refund me. They guarantee getting you a interview well I didn't get one interview with the resume they gave me. I used my previous resume and I got a interview with that. Again people don't waste your money using topresume. To top it off they didn't even know my correct name. Not the spelling of my full name they were using the email address name instead of using my name and my name was clearly on the resume.

I'm sorry to hear that you are displeased with our resume. Although in first glance, our resume formats look like other formats you can find online, but the formats are actually thoroughly tested and revised to perform better with Applicant Tracking Systems and hiring managers. There are things that other resume formats don't cover, such as proper font hierarchy, proper title placements, proper use of bullets, and etc. We offered a re-write by another writer because sometimes customers are not happy with the first writer. This was not meant to offend you, but as a way to offer you an alternative writer.
Very disappointed with this service. Expected a one on one experience to restructure and improve my resume. Never spoke to the writer who obviously new nothing about my profession or industry. Turned out to be a one week maximum service whereby I had to make multiple edits and recommendations and finally just gave up and wrote it myself. Many sentences that were simply fluff without any true indication of my skills and experience. Never did have a chance to discuss my LinedIn profile update recommendations, they just included the same stuff they threw together for the resume.

They did nothing with my resume but reword it. I wasn't give an opportunity to speak directly with my writer via telephone and Katie was extremely rude in her email response to me. Waste of good money.
I paid for the resume & and cover letter re-write. After their very comprehensive review of my resume, I decided they may be worth a shot. By the way they have a zero refund policy, so once its gone its gone. In their questionnaire they ask you to provide links of jobs that you are applying for - my writer didn't even look at those links until I asked her to. I explained that I was trying to make a career change and she kept highlighting the wrong industry and skills. The cover letter was boring, drab and too long. Also it has all the phrases you could google - noting to make your accomplishments stand out - so BORING! I didn't get the second re-write because the process timed out while I was trying to figure out how to communicate to the writer that she was going the wrong direction AGAIN. I had more interest off my old resume. My interviews have come from personal connections. Their claim of getting you through the computer sorting system it just doesn't work or I had their worst writer.

Do not waste your money! I'm convinced this company and their services are a scam. My "professional" resume writer originally said she would have a draft available in a couple of business days. After 3 days, I sent an email just to check in and see when she thought she could have the draft completed. I didn't receive a response. The next day I contacted customer support and they reached out to her. I got a reply from her saying she was working on my resume and would have it to me the following day (yesterday)... nothing. I emailed her this morning to check the status and no response. Contacted customer service and they refuse to give a refund. They say they've assigned my resume to a new writer and I'll have it by tomorrow. I received a resume and cover letter tonight that's not even mine! Totally incompetent for a supposedly professional business. I plan to dispute the charges and report them to the BBB.

Answer: It depends, if you want to pay for a mediocre format riddled with errors that has the language equivalent of a high-schooler. You will end up paying $100 for something you could have sat down and done in an hour and a half.

Answer: Be careful with this company. They post 1000s of fake reviews to hide the real ones. Note that they do not post their phone number or address on the website. I had to file with the BBB to get a refund after never being contacted. This is a SCAM company - you are better off writing your own resume, trust me on this

I've been assigned 3 different writers and have received a subpar product back each time, written by someone who's first language is clearly not English. The best part, I paid $100+ for a "LinkedIn Rewrite" and this was where the writer copied and pasted their version of my resume into the boxes for LinkedIn. You've got to be kidding me... Don't waste your money!
