Don't bother using this service. They will take a very long time getting your resume complete. It's been over a week since I paid them and they still have not even matched me with a writer. Since they do not offer refunds, you are at their mercy.

The company gave me a thorough professional review of my CV, and the tips I received from them, which I did not see or hear anywhere else, are very helpful.
My decent resume was downgraded by the writer with grammatical errors, poor vocabulary, random ordering of talent, generic treatment of qualifications (all MBAs are not the same), fictions, and stupid deletions. I literally had to rewrite the whole thing and sent it back for the second review, which OFFERED NO FURTHER suggestions. It's unethical to take money for this kind of service. Take the free assessment and go no further. Somebody should shut these guys down. It's a good idea that needs some whiff of accountability and quality control

I had a great experience working with TopResume. It took one week to get from the first draft to the final product.
The iterative process works like a charm, and I really liked the final product.

I wish I had seen the other reviews before paying for an executive level package. The free "assessment" appeared helpful. I already had a good resume, but wanted it optimized for ATS systems and thought it would be more helpful to have a "professional" service do that for me. But after waiting nearly two weeks (they promise to deliver a first draft within one). I was appalled at the product. The cover letter was written so poorly, including sophomoric language and several grammatical and syntax errors, and failed to provide any relevant or meaningful content. They didn't even spell my name correctly (and there are only five letters to get right). It was clear the writer knew nothing about my field, and apparently cannot use Google to learn anything useful. The resume listed some generic sentences, and then left out nearly half of my experience and accomplishments.
I complained and asked for a refund, but they refuse to provide one. The writer acknowledged how challenging this was because my own resume was already "really well written". Yet he did not bother to include any of that content on his own attempt. Instead, he sent a draft that was so generic and poorly constructed, that if used, it would destroy any chance of getting anywhere except the trash bin. It was so bad, I doubt they have a writer on staff who could produce something acceptable (or they would have assigned them in the first place).
DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME HERE!

This was the worse decision made! I they did not have any depth of understanding, their inability to process or comprehend feedback. Even after providing feedback -- e.g. my name, content spelling errors, etc. This was the worse experience ever! They do no work!

I hired this company to update my resume because of my hectic work schedule. Worst decision I made. I only needed to update my current work experience and change some verbiage on my existing resume. I received a huge mess. I went from a two page resume to a 4 page resume. The grammar used "new verbiage" was atrocious ( I feel like some one from India being paid $5.00 a resume wrote my resume). My new format was soooo gaudy and outrageous (I hire and review resumes, I would have thrown my own resume out on formatting alone). It was difficult to get a revision, and I spent more time trying to get revisions, it was easier for me to just rewrite and reformat my resume myself. I did not appreciate or enjoy this experience what-so-ever.

Be careful if you decided to purchase from this company. Once you buy their product, they do not refund your money even when they admit they failed to delivery your product/service on time as contracted.

After my first review - where I received great service it went down hill from there, I have applied for some 40+ position with out even getting an interview over the past almost 12 month.
I sent an email requesting a refund as per what they promised on there website, I have had no reply and they have not contacted me.
Use them if you would like to throw good money after bad!

I am not good at writing resumes and had been looking for a job for a couple months. Looking at this service as an investment that would pay off fast with a job, I was more than wrong. I have been applying for a few months now and I haven't event got 1 call back. Not worth it.

First of all, TopResume sent me an e-mail pointing what was not so good in my resumè. When I decided to buy their services, a consultant started talking with me by e-mail. I got really glad with the result. I think every professional should invest some time and money to let his/her resume a lot attractive to the employers.
Answer: It depends, if you want to pay for a mediocre format riddled with errors that has the language equivalent of a high-schooler. You will end up paying $100 for something you could have sat down and done in an hour and a half.

Answer: Be careful with this company. They post 1000s of fake reviews to hide the real ones. Note that they do not post their phone number or address on the website. I had to file with the BBB to get a refund after never being contacted. This is a SCAM company - you are better off writing your own resume, trust me on this

I've been assigned 3 different writers and have received a subpar product back each time, written by someone who's first language is clearly not English. The best part, I paid $100+ for a "LinkedIn Rewrite" and this was where the writer copied and pasted their version of my resume into the boxes for LinkedIn. You've got to be kidding me... Don't waste your money!
