Never deal with this company, they dont fulfill there promises, as far as time and they dont feel your frustration, and they blame it on holiday, although I submit my request way before 4th of July, but still they have the the holiday for excuse. And they well charge you $50.00 if you cancel if they start on your order and they dont care if they fulfill there promise or not, so I called my bank to dispute and I win the case. So dont use this company, my friend advise me to go to any public library and they will help writing your Resume for free, I might try it

Thought I would be getting a resume that was keyword and scan- friendly... nope! The persons who reviews the initial submission offers great suggestions but thats not who writes the resume! Got 2 revisions with massive gaps not sure if she even understood my skills and experience they basically rearranged some of my original resume and then put fill in blank experience/skills here. I could have done this myself and saved my money! The cover letter was great but the resume was lousy. I feel ripped off!

I bought a really nice resume template design on the Creative Market (it's the "Resume Template 5 Pages/CV" design by Quality Resume... look it up it's pretty lovely). It's part of the reason I got my current job... because of how well-designed my resume was and it showed that I had an eye for design in the content realm.

Flash forward to this review I get from Laura Morgan (not knowing I had even submitted my resume for review). My feedback..."We've all been told that looks don't matter as much as substance, but in the case of your resume, this just isn't true. I found your design to be visually uneven. The appearance is not polished..."

Um, ok. Does this girl even understand design? Ok, I guess my resume doesn't look good based on this service, but she said the bullet points were great! Did she even look at it?

I would advise not using this service. I don't think their advice is legit. They rely on robots and not the actual human eye.

I submitted my resume for a first free review through Glassdoor and the feedback I received was somewhat helpful, but it was very vague and unclear. I replied with clarifying questions to the expert who reviewed my resume and they were completely unhelpful. All they did was send me links to TopResumes documentation on sample resumes. This already demonstrates that they are not willing to help clarify their initial feedback for you unless you pay for their service. Why should I pay if you cant even prove you'll improve my resume with one example? I asked how they would rephrase a bullet point from my resume showing me as an achiever as opposed to a doer. The expert said they were unable to provide a detailed rundown on how to improve my resume. Well, you clearly could've done a better job providing a detailed rundown in the first feedback instead of some vague nonsense that doesnt even let me know specifically where I can improve. Glad I didnt pay a penny for their useless service.

After spending my time filling out an extensive questionnaire, the draft sent to me was nothing more than a re-formatting of my original resume that contained none of the information I had provided. I tried to contact them numerous times but was sent a notice that the draft was final. After that, no contact. So I instructed my bank not to release the final payment and immediately I received an aggressive email telling me that I had one week to pay. This company is a joke - do not use them.

I realize now that I should have used somebody local. I didn't feel as though I was getting a reasonable rate of phone interviews (3 for the last 19) of the resumes that I had written myself and sent. Contacted TopResume.com, paid extra for top 10% of their writers and also paid extra for a phone call. Total cost close to $500. I sent the "Writer" my current resume because she wanted to see it. I got her first draft around a week later and it was my EXACT resume, just re-formatted (different font/larger print) and that was it. Thank goodness we had a phone call so I could let her know how disappointed I was. My final revision from her did have a some changes thanks to our phone chat. Well, currently 0 for 11 on the current TopResume product. I am going back to my old resume that I had written with a few modifications from pointers gotten from a resume website. I cannot imagine a worse experience.

When I received the first draft of my resume makeover back from my TopResume writer, I gasped in awe. It had a "wow" factor that it hadn't had previously. And the best part was that the new resume wasn't selling someone I'm not. It highlighted - put front and center - the strengths that I knew I had but had trouble articulating powerfully and accurately. Since finishing my project with TopResume, I have continued applying to jobs with a never-before-felt sense of confidence in myself and abilities. I've gotten some calls back and I'm optimistic about my job hunt going forward. I highly recommend investing in yourself with TopResume because those kinds of investments are ones with the biggest returns.

I'm still waiting for the Resume that I have paid for. I questioned the writer and now I've been completely ignored. Even "my personal link" is void of any documents that are supposed to be there. TopResume doesn't even deserve one star for their effort. A "Senior" editor took over and screwed up what started as a good attempt at writing. You are supposed to be matched with a writer who is experienced with your industry, and that didn't happen. It would be waste of money if they actually supplied a resume to me.
