I honestly thought my resume was fine, but I decided to have it critiqued anyway. I was so surprised to receive an extremely detailed email about different aspects of my resume that can be improved and examples of how I can change them. It wasn't just about how my bullet points were written, but about the appearance and the overall impression that it gives of my experience. TopResume uses the same type of scanning machines that many companies use when reviewing resumes, so it is really helpful to see how your resume is read through those machines. They even explain how the machines work to gather info from your resume. It was extremely helpful and free!

I used the site to review the quality of my resume, not expecting too much in the way of meaningful feedback. When I received the feedback, I was pleasantly surprised at the extent of the review and could see how a professional actually spent time going through it. I really enjoyed the personalized feedback and key-word search overview they provided me. They gave me specific phrases from my resume and helped me change my wording to attract employers more. It is also very enlightening to see what is highlighted from my resume through the key-word searches.

Do not waste your time and money. I received what appeared to be a computer written resume via email seven business days after I paid for it with several date and reference errors. It had a deadline of the day prior to submit my corrections or they would consider the order closed! I'm out $250.00 and a week and a half of opportunities went by while I waited for this piece of trash. Do you research online prior to picking a resume service. I wish I would have.
They did a thoughtful and honest review of my resume, and enlightened topics and mistakes I hadn't noticed before. I'd recommend their work!
I don't give it a 5 star rating just because of the lack of a more affordable plan. For me, a professional that depends on the currency exchange to dollars (nowadays it is a 4 to 1 ratio), it becomes way out of my possibilities.

There were also reviews from HR professionals, which provided insights helping tailor my writing to best meet the employers' expectations. Definitely would recommend TopResume to my friends.
The perspective they have towards a resume is incredible. They have review my resume and I was astonished with the keen details they put forward about my resume and how I can improve it. I do recommend TopResume if lately you're having trouble getting interview calls. Getting an interview is not an easy task, in the world where thousand of resumes reach to the HRs table. So it is better to give them a chance.

I like that they told me all the ways my resume was bland. I thought that the employer simply wanted to know your credentials and not some flowery whatevers about your accomplishments and recognitions. Mine were listed but did not have too much imagery or "bang!" words. Will continue to work with them and see what I can accomplish with their help.
Do your research. Go to the library and checkout books on resume writing. Do not waste your money using Top Resume services. They plagiarized my resume from a book I found at the library. What was put on my resume did not reflect my skills/who I really was. Instead of using a cloud based service like Google Docs to collaborate, they sent documents via email that I couldn't open, which wasted the time they give you to make changes to the resume/cover letter. DO NOT USE TOP RESUME! TOTAL WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY.
The service was slow, took me about a month to receive my resume but thankfully I wasn't in a hurry and was contacted by a customer service representative before I even reached out regarding an apology on delay and estimated time to completion and offered a free cover letter. My assigned agent was very responsive and provided a few drafts. I see now where my resume needed improvement and I'm glad I chose this service.
Whilst I was pleased that the team got my CV from four pages two and that it appeared very professional etc, I still have not, on the back of it, had any interviews or positive responses

I ordered a cover letter and resume combo from TopResume. I supplied a copy of my current resume along with a full detail of my current job description. I also sent two full job descriptions for two positions that I would applying for along with both job posting from USA Jobs. A week later, I received my first rough draft. I was extremely disappointed in the lack of detail and description, A couple of dates were also incorrect along with my actual position title mislabled. I replied with more details on the position's and also stated that there were a significant lack of keywords and details along with a handful of errors. Very little was changed and the date errors were never corrected. Its been a disaster, I missed applying for a few jobs and I had to also rewrite a already paid rewritten resume to submit for open position. Im out $200, Be extremely cautious
After doing multiple resume critiques with online services, TopResume had the best feedback on my existing resume. Explaining ATS and the analytics behind it. I went with a writer to give my resume the professional content I needed. Now it is so east to apply to positions and I have full confidence. Hiring Managers are looking at my resume, even multiple times.
Do not waste your time or money. They do not respond to feedback within the first week deadline and do not call back after 60 days.
They also have no clue about writing resumes.
