This is the WORST service I have ever encountered. I purchased the bundle and received misspellings, grammar mistakes and formatting issues on both my resume and cover letter. When I received my LinkedIn recommendation, it was clear no one had looked at my actual LinkedIn page and sent me a standard response. Please do not spend your money as your going to spend more time correcting the issues or even worse not looking good to whom receives your resume and info. This is a huge scam and I would the big job platforms would not promote them.

Before a friend refered me to TopResume, I used to think that my CV (resumé) was top notch. Even in this frame of mind, I suffered so many rejections. It never occurred to me that my CV was the problem as it didn't show my skills or detail my accomplishments. But when I contacted TopResume, my errors were pointed out and after a complete reshaping of the document, I got an immediate acceptance.

I am grateful I discovered TopResume.

For the price that I paid and the delay in the delivery of the product I expected a resume that I could immediately submit/present for jobs. Instead of a high quality resume I received a resume filled with typos, "sentences" that made no sense, and a lack of cohesion/flow. Reading the resume I had no clue who I was professionally and it certainly did not resonate with the field that I am transitioning to which is why I sought the services of a resume writer.

The resume I provided for rewrite was a well written resume that I needed adjusted because I was changing fields. I sought this service with the expectation that they had the "experts" who knew and understood the field and could therefore take my existing resume, which was well written by a previous service, and turn it into a resume that resonated. I was sadly mistaken.

I provided detailed information on my current role, additional experience that was relevant for the role that I wanted, and potential job descriptions. Clearly the writer never bothered to read the information provided. The final product was an embarrassment. I could have paid a college student majoring in English half of what I paid and gotten a far better quality product.

I would NEVER recommend this company/service to ANYONE. It is a sham of a business. I wish I could give it a negative star rating.

I was not aware of resume writing or interview coaching services before receiving a free critique from Katie at TR. I have to say, after working with my writer, I have never seen such professionalism both during the process and as a finished product. Your writer, who is an expert writer in your field, seeks to understand exactly what you want at the granular level, and translates that into a sleek, eye-catching resume. So far, I have landed two interviews and have breezed past the first round on both. I loved my experience and would recommend this service to anyone looking to further, or start, their career.

Was promised expert guidance, professional writing and insightful support. However, i ended up utterly disappointed with the aptitude and attitude of my designated resume writer.

First draft was shockingly poor... factual and grammatical errors, trite, generic phrasing, shallow understanding and assimilation of my work history, etc. I wondered whether he actually read my application and work history documents. Seemed like it was written by a kid just out of college who knew business buzz words but had never competed for or held an executive position.

Second draft was improved, but still lacked the sophistication to credibly represent decades of disjointed C-level work experience. So, i spent hours editing it myself and returned it to the writer for comments, changes and/or approval. I was then advised, in a condescending email that i'd used up my 7-day window and two draft limit and had to buy additional services to complete the project. I'd already bought their top of the line package to insure i'd be assigned one of their most senior writers and was frustrated and underwhelmed. No way i was throwing any more good money after bad. I emailed them my feedback and requested they reconsider, and they didn't even bother to respond.

In summary, the service may be ok for an inexperienced, young person searching for their first or second job. But, the writers, at least in my case, lacked the experience and writing skill to credibly present a senior level exec. And beware, despite the friendly sales pitch, you're on the clock and will be pressured to buy upgrades if you run over; even if it's due to their writers' negligence and you do their rewrite work for them. Great idea, persuasive pitch, piss poor execution.

I came across Top Resume while doing online job/internship searches. I agreed to my resume being reviewed and didn't expect much in return thinking it would cost me money. But actually, I received an actual review of my resume! Although you have to pay for the in-depth coaching and to have someone write it for you, I actually really liked the free feedback that I got. I thought it was very helpful and honest and I will definitely consider paying for their services in the future.

When I first came across this site I figured it was just something for me to scan through really quick. I never thought I would actually be one to apply and send in my own resume but I'm so glad I did! Because when I did I found out that what I thought was all right was horrible in a sense compared to how amazing it could be thanks to the amazing input that I received from the team at top resume I now have a greater chance at a new career!

In the process of applying for jobs, I was asked if I wanted to have my CV reviewed by TopResume. Not thinking much of it, I said "sure, why not." A few days later I received exhaustive and meaningful feedback on why my resume was not getting noticed. Coming from academia, I've never really had to put together an industry resume and now know where my short-comings are. I can't express how surprised I was to get such good, personalized information for free!
