Alot of items i bid on were later refunded, but no reason given why. The refunds would go to tophatter credit instead of getting refunded to your card. Yet the items would be still available for other customers to bid on. Some items are often stunning and beautiful. Other items are cheaply made or too small. It's a luck of the draw. Customer Service is quick to respond and will make things right. Overall I had more good experiences then bad ones.

I'm terribly sorry to hear the seller failed to honor your sale. This is definitely against Tophatter seller guidelines. When a buyer is refunded without prior consent the seller is automatically penalized, so this won't go unnoticed.

Very simple transactions. Like being at a live auction house. Lots of FUN!... Very Addictive!

This app is like wish.com but it auctions its products in 90 seconds. It can be like playing a game and can be quite addictive but still fun. You have the option of free shipping and no hassle refunds. Everything is categorized as to make it easier to look for specific products. You even have the option to just go search or browse instead of auctioning. You can check into your account and check on the progress of your orders. A really easy app to use.
I really enjoyed the selections and the challenge of winning the prize from others. And I appreciate that everything ships on time and that the rules are enforced. The only downside I see to this app is when you cancel an item after changing your mind for any reason. It's stated that you will lose your auctioning privileges. You can still shop by browsing. L I'm aware it's there to keep people from just betting and then canceling just for the fun of it but it can also be a bit of a nuisance if that wasn't the same reason for myself. I just believed that should be more chances than three strikes you're out. Thanks.

I love shopping on Tophatter, the prices are reasonable, and products are as described. Of course its not instant gratification because you have to wait for delivery, but when the product arrives its like Christmas!

I've used tophatter for a couple yrs now and ive always been happy with my purchases. If ever an issue they address and always resolve it, although I've only had one issue but it was resolved fast and friendly. Plus, its fun to bid on items and get for great prices.

Great service and way of handling things as I have actually shocked with them refunding my money for the product even though it came late they told me to keep it any how! I wish it was a way that the venders were required to refund the shipping cost

Answer: Justin you are absolutely correct. I find out the hard way. I had my own auction with nice AUTHENTIC designer items and cosmetics (Becca, Cargo, Smahbox, Too Faced, etc). I lost big time. $40 Cargo palette sold for $10; it cost me $15. Items that I started higher to cover my cost never sold. I still had to pay fees for the item being listed. A $200 Calvin Klein purse sold for $20; it cost me $80 wholesale. Run!
Answer: If you end up buying a few items from the same seller they can do a combined shipment but you rarely get the same buyer items since they only let the sellers sell 10 items a day. It is different for the sellers that have their own auctions.
Answer: You will notice the same names no matter the day, time etc. Bidding against you very often. Is it a coincidence? Personally I don't believe in coincidences.
Answer: Depends on what you are selling. Yes, a lot of items go unsold in the jewelry and accessories categories... as well as others. Coach and Michael Kors and other designer brands, not much goes unsold, because here's the catch - - you pay fees on the starting bid. TH wants everything to start at $1. So you get punished if you start higher as to not get screwed by a low purchase price. Say you buy a designer bag for $120. If you start that bag at $100, you're already paying over $10 in fees. **IF** you can manage to sell it for a profit, there are still the commission and bank fees. If you start it at $1, you're barely paying any listing fees but it might only sell for $80 (or less!). So, less fees, but you lost your ass on the item. It's messed up. Most sellers have put in their time to see if they can make a profit or to see if TH will change, but they all seem to end up leaving. I'm convinced the only ones who stay to sell there are the counterfeit or crappy quality sellers who are buying items for next to nothing, because that seems to be the only way to make a profit there these days. I would go the ebay route if you're looking to sell.
