I have purchased quite a bit for Christmas. Something were not satisfactory, however, you made it right by me. Most were very satisfactory & the jewelry beautiful. Some things takes a bit longer than I prefer.

I love tophatter you get addicted to it really quick I love shopping, and pick of what I want and learning how to bid to get what I want for a fair price plus they have so. Many to choose some better then other and knowing what vendor has great quality in there products

Tophatter offers a wonderful selection of items, from gorgeous jewelry to beautiful clothing to sports items and make up and fragrances. The vendors are quick to ship and you're always surprised when it comes. All in all, a delightful experience.
My bidding experience was ok, but there was too many of the same products being offered. If you didn't want Robotics, Fitbits or Bling, but tried to bid on sheets/manchester these site was closed down quite quickly.
For the products I bought, the experience was ok.
I won a citrine ring and makeup when i received my ring the stone fell out the same day as for the makeup when i did receive it it was broke as in seal and the makeup both im very unhappy and wont be shopping on this site didnt get any help or refund after sending 2 emails
My overall experience with Tophatter has been a good one, I even recommended this site to my apartment management and they're very happy I did. My only complaint is that I won a bid for a Joy Marango(?) tote (hand bag) and paid for another one through their bonus offer. I received one but have not received the other. I mentioned this to Tophatter but have not received any reply. This was about approx. 2 months ago. Would be nice if Tophatter would resolve this matter... thanks.

I was buying pretty regularly and really enjoyed the site. My credit card was stolen and I didn't know the account was compromised- I was trying to pay for an auction I won and the transaction didn't go through. I had to cancel that particular sale. I received an email and a message saying that I would not be able to bid on anything for 2 weeks. (I actually don't remember exact time period but it felt like I was a child being put on restriction!) I could understand if I was constantly canceling items won but that was not the case. In addition, I ordered a piece that was said to be delivered in 10-15 days. I was following the tracking because it was a gift. After 2 or 3 days the tracking said item had been stopped. I couldn't get any information from the tracking page. I was not ever given a reason to why when I asked customer support and it took over a month to receive the item. I was supposed to be given a refund but I never received it. It was just to much trouble to pursue a refund for an item that cost less than the shipping. I have not decided if I will return to the site or not- it was fun seeing all the different items and jewelry- especially things not available in stores around town. Overall this site is fun and addictive but customer support needs a lesson in how to settle issues and learn how to listen to customers before they put them in restriction, like a child.

Answer: Justin you are absolutely correct. I find out the hard way. I had my own auction with nice AUTHENTIC designer items and cosmetics (Becca, Cargo, Smahbox, Too Faced, etc). I lost big time. $40 Cargo palette sold for $10; it cost me $15. Items that I started higher to cover my cost never sold. I still had to pay fees for the item being listed. A $200 Calvin Klein purse sold for $20; it cost me $80 wholesale. Run!
Answer: If you end up buying a few items from the same seller they can do a combined shipment but you rarely get the same buyer items since they only let the sellers sell 10 items a day. It is different for the sellers that have their own auctions.

Answer: Depends on what you are selling. Yes, a lot of items go unsold in the jewelry and accessories categories... as well as others. Coach and Michael Kors and other designer brands, not much goes unsold, because here's the catch - - you pay fees on the starting bid. TH wants everything to start at $1. So you get punished if you start higher as to not get screwed by a low purchase price. Say you buy a designer bag for $120. If you start that bag at $100, you're already paying over $10 in fees. **IF** you can manage to sell it for a profit, there are still the commission and bank fees. If you start it at $1, you're barely paying any listing fees but it might only sell for $80 (or less!). So, less fees, but you lost your ass on the item. It's messed up. Most sellers have put in their time to see if they can make a profit or to see if TH will change, but they all seem to end up leaving. I'm convinced the only ones who stay to sell there are the counterfeit or crappy quality sellers who are buying items for next to nothing, because that seems to be the only way to make a profit there these days. I would go the ebay route if you're looking to sell.
