I would not purchase anythig from Tophatter. I had purchased an item form them and I didnt receive it, but they say it was delivered and I need to find out where it was. They wouldn't try to find out where it was deliverd and didn't care if the customer was happy or not. Just don't purchase from them as they have terrible customer service
The account amangers lies to you and won't ever repsond to messages. They fee you to death with the auctions. They suspend your accout for any reason they like. They do not payout earning in a timley manor. They do not follow there on policies. They let you drop drop $#*! but expect the same result as your item was being shipped from the USA to The USA. They need to review and update some of their guidlines and policies to fit the platfrom.
This company has to be honest and say that you are selling costume jewelry. I love purchasing from you for my prettiest rings but they are not what you ordered so just be aware you are buying costume jewelry but it's

Seller "Friendly" continues to sell MaxxAir 16 in. High Velocity Turbo Floor Fan Orange that never intend to ship. I got refund after waiting for weeks but got no explanation why they did not ship. Now I see the item listed for sale at https://tophatter.com/?browse=open&browse_lot_id=*******.
You live and you learn when buying things online. You also sometimes regret. This review isn't necessarily against Tophatter as I fully expect them to do the right thing. My case is against the fraudster going under the name of Brooklyn on the site. They were selling folding bikes for $99 and I saw that Amazon was selling the same exact bike for $200 so I of course wanted to be in on that deal. I paid the $99 and the $20 for shipping and that was the last I heard from this moron. The time frame in which I should have received the bike went by and the tracking number showed that the bike was on it's way to a DHL processing center and the rest is history. No other scans on the bike and when i checked the details of the shipment, it said the shipment was 0.02 lbs and the shipment was shipped as lightweight. We all know that this bike weighed a lot more then 0.02 lbs. This moron not only pulled this stunt with me but also with others. Tophatter has opened an investigation on this and the tracking number still shows that the bike is on its way to DHL but we all know the truth to that. From what i can tell, this idiot is not currently selling or stealing from anyone else on the site unless of course he changed his name. It's bad enough that Tophatter will lose business from this but I fully expect to receive my money back at the conclusion of this case.
There gold is not real even though it states 10k gold. It's all a lie. Dont but any jewlery. And then they ship in plastic bag so by the time you get it everything is ruined. I had 11 orders I won and 2 they never came so had to fight as the item no longer available? How can I win a bid and they demand payment and then I never get the item? Insane. I WOULD NEVER ORDER FROM THEM AGAIN. 6 TO 8 WEEK DELIVERY IF YOU EVER GET IT. FRAUD

Haven't received my purchase, it was to be here between June 7th and June 20th. Can't track, can't sign in (keeps asking if I'm a robot but doesn't display "robot page"). I will never order from here again. Plus the auction is a joke because if you bid it extends the auction time-line plus when auction is over they still add in a going once, twice, etc. Now I'm out the money I paid for this item but also have no way to contact them in order to lodge a complaint.
Terrible experience all around. I have ordered several items from the app and have been disappointed by every single one of them. If they even arrive at all, I don't have been late and not what I expected. The smaller cheaper items, which seem to be the only ones that actually arrive at all, are much cheaper and smaller than anticipated. The larger items such as electronics, have not arrived at all. If it is over a month late, they offer a full refund if the item is not in transit. My items have been in transit for over a month and the full refund just is not enough at this point. They refuse to resend the product. They suggest to get a hold of the seller, but have no information on the seller nor will they give it if they did. I truly believe this is just a scam, as they take your money immediately. Yet make you wait for the product, for returns, for anything helpful in such a situation. Yeah for tracking on the packages but tracking generally ends in China. Currently I have a product that has been in transit for over a month yet tracking ends in China. I just want my items that I purchased. A refund just doesn't cut it. Buyers beware!
Product was charged in US$, no receipt received, took 6 weeks to arrive and was nothing like expected. Paid $80 for a $10 piece of material that was advertised as a projection screen
Nearly everything is shipped from China and is cheaply made. Only one time have I bid on an item that was actually shipped from the USA and was worth the money. I've bid and won on 9 items: 2 of them I kept, 4 of them I threw away because it was crap, 2 of them were suddenly cancelled with no explanation. The last one was shipped at beginning of April, spent over a month on an airplane up in the sky, spent another month on the ground somewhere else, then put on another plane and finally landed in Queens NY 2 weeks ago. Now it's in Atlanta GA. I'll be lucky if I get it by July 1st. 3 months of waiting is totally unacceptable.
Tophatter should have an option of choosing which country you would like to bid from, so you can receive your item in a timely manner. Until then I will no longer bid on that site.
I've been playing around on this site for a few + years and it started out with decent items being sold. After the time went on more and more sellers were misleading and falsely advertising their items and getting away with it! I even put in many complaints and actually on one of my refunds they gave me a extra 5 dollars after I said we should get extra for that kind of piss poor business practices since Tophatter suposesingly fines them for not complying with their rules!
So if you use them stay on top of your orders and hold them accountable for what you feel is wrong...

I have won over 350 auctions over 3 years and I have been disappointed of the quality and speed of delivery almost to a fault with this company. They constantly respond with automated answers and you can never get a straight answer live. They have no control over the sellers and everyone involved is aware of that fact, at which they take full advantage. Sellers will rip you off and after months waiting your product doesn't arrive or it arrives damaged and they will respond just send it back. Ridiculous excuse for a website. Save your money.
I ordered 10 items received 9 and all had a problem. DON'T get the 7" table with keyboard because it did not charge all the way, it don't stay charged no more thin a hour and now it will not hold a charge at all. ( I WILL BE FIGHTING FOR MY REFUND FOR SURE ON THIS ONE), the color strip lights don't have a plug so I don't know if they work or not, the light bulb that changes colors with remote dose not work (you can't change or pick a color because remote control dose not work), my items I got for my yard that support to be Solo lights never came on and it's going on the three days being in the sun and I still have to test the drill bits and the stuff I got for my nail. I hope it dose not be a hassle to get my money back but I'll see what happens and let you guys know how it went. I had to let you guys know how the items came to me and how they worked so far. So far it's 6 items I CAN NOT USE. SMH NONE OF THE ITEMS CAME TO ME IN DECENT PACKAGING, ALL ITEMS CAME IN ZIP LOCK BAGs or bubble rapped. YOU WILL BE BETTER OFF SHOPPING ON THE WISH APP. I DO KNOW WISH WILL GIVE YOU YOUR MONEY BACK IF YOU ARE NOT HAPPY WITH YOUR ITEMS. Most of the time wish will let you keep the items if they missed up on something.

This has got to be the number 1 CHINESE company that scams money from the American public! We are still waiting for 3 orders 3 months later with no refunds nothing but bull$#*!!

I have found good prices on my bids. You need to read the product info before you bid, for size and what you are actually bidding on. Size can be misleading and the amount of product, so read info. Most of the time you get your product before they say, but still do not be in a hurry to get it. Remember this can be addicting and you can be surprised by your credit card bill! Answer: Justin you are absolutely correct. I find out the hard way. I had my own auction with nice AUTHENTIC designer items and cosmetics (Becca, Cargo, Smahbox, Too Faced, etc). I lost big time. $40 Cargo palette sold for $10; it cost me $15. Items that I started higher to cover my cost never sold. I still had to pay fees for the item being listed. A $200 Calvin Klein purse sold for $20; it cost me $80 wholesale. Run!
Answer: If you end up buying a few items from the same seller they can do a combined shipment but you rarely get the same buyer items since they only let the sellers sell 10 items a day. It is different for the sellers that have their own auctions.
Answer: You will notice the same names no matter the day, time etc. Bidding against you very often. Is it a coincidence? Personally I don't believe in coincidences.
Answer: Depends on what you are selling. Yes, a lot of items go unsold in the jewelry and accessories categories... as well as others. Coach and Michael Kors and other designer brands, not much goes unsold, because here's the catch - - you pay fees on the starting bid. TH wants everything to start at $1. So you get punished if you start higher as to not get screwed by a low purchase price. Say you buy a designer bag for $120. If you start that bag at $100, you're already paying over $10 in fees. **IF** you can manage to sell it for a profit, there are still the commission and bank fees. If you start it at $1, you're barely paying any listing fees but it might only sell for $80 (or less!). So, less fees, but you lost your ass on the item. It's messed up. Most sellers have put in their time to see if they can make a profit or to see if TH will change, but they all seem to end up leaving. I'm convinced the only ones who stay to sell there are the counterfeit or crappy quality sellers who are buying items for next to nothing, because that seems to be the only way to make a profit there these days. I would go the ebay route if you're looking to sell.
