Sorry but I can only give 1 star because I've found that the pictures don't match what your selling and you have to really read the description to know. I found that most are coming from China and can be found cheaper buying directly from Ebay. I went crazy the 1st couple days and spent a lot of money and when did research realized deals weren't that good and I over paid on most of what I bought. Have some items I bought almost a month ago showing still in China.
Overall I give Tophatter a 5 STAR ratting. Sure, ever once in a blue moon a small snag may pop up, however, Tophatter makes it all OK! I have bought over 200 items in the past few months and am very pleased with the average timely and secure delivery of 99% of the items. My wife just loves all the items I've won for her on Tophatter, the people who have received them as gifts are more than pleased and I, I love the "hunt", hoping that I snag what I wan't at a low to very low price! Thank you Tophatter for a great experience!

I bidded on coins since I`m a coin collector and unfortunately bidded on some coin copies. I was not happy about it once I realized they were not authentic.

I like it the only issue is how cheap alot of items are. RSP on items is a lie. Just wish you guys would be strig b t up about the items. Most are fake junk. Sorry but I'm telling the truth. Not saying all but most are

Some of the products were received quickly. However some of the first ones ordered seem to be stuck in China yet. Also confusion on same tracking #s for different items. Then when contacted about it, somehow items got cancelled or refunded... Enjoy the products that I did receive.

Without spending a fortune, I can quickly order whatever I choose. There is no hassle and very user friendly. If for some reason you are not satisfied, you can return your purchase. I am a return customer.

I would have given this app 5 stars but I will have to be totally honest some of the product or items that are viewed aren't what they are. Meaning when you receive it in the mail it's not at all what the picture or captions stated. I had to return a number of things due to missing parts, false advertising item, item previously opened and re sent, items not working, etc. but all in all I do like this app I will continue to purchase items but now that I know I will take the time to read the item carefully and make sure that the item is what they say they are.

The 90 second auctions are great. Some of the items offered are not very appealing. Some are pretty cool. On a scale of 1-10 I would rate Tophatter a 1o for service and accessibility, but the products offered a 6. But still fun!

Not all is as it seems. 75% of what I bought was not as advertised. Could have bought better and cheaper on Amazon.
The best thing about Tophatter is the excitement of the auction. But like a carnival booth, you walk away with junk.
So pleased with everything I've gotten here! Couldn't be happier! Surrending money and making money! Great is an understatement for how good this site is!

I won an auction for a 7" tablet at a high bid of $26. That evening, after my payment had been verified, the seller cancelled the sale and refunded the money. This is supposed to be an auction with no reserve bids but if the sale is too low then the seller just cancels the sale. This is fraud.

I'm terribly sorry to hear the seller failed to honor your sale. This is definitely against Tophatter seller guidelines. FAQs forced when click contact us, which start with only 2 high level categories to dripl down: BUYING or SELLING. Absolutely nothing regarding account, profile, comm preferences. Despite ubsubscribing multi days now for extremely frequent marketing messages, they keep coming. No info regarding the ubsubscribe process when doing so + no way to easily contact or even find FAQs related. Will begin the drill-down process to find whatever potentially available info there MAY (prob is not) provided which is already intentionally difficult to locate if there at all. Contact them? Pls.

I ordered to much as tuff I stupidly told them I needed to cancel some so they blocked me from going in. Now stuck with all this stuff and if I want to return I have to reach out to all the suppliers in China... More money I don't have, im out about 2000. 00. Really need to te return alot of stuff! Answer: There is also the FEDERAL TRADE COMMISSION that can help with these types of problems

Answer: Justin you are absolutely correct. I find out the hard way. I had my own auction with nice AUTHENTIC designer items and cosmetics (Becca, Cargo, Smahbox, Too Faced, etc). I lost big time. $40 Cargo palette sold for $10; it cost me $15. Items that I started higher to cover my cost never sold. I still had to pay fees for the item being listed. A $200 Calvin Klein purse sold for $20; it cost me $80 wholesale. Run!
Answer: If you end up buying a few items from the same seller they can do a combined shipment but you rarely get the same buyer items since they only let the sellers sell 10 items a day. It is different for the sellers that have their own auctions.
Answer: You will notice the same names no matter the day, time etc. Bidding against you very often. Is it a coincidence? Personally I don't believe in coincidences.
Answer: Depends on what you are selling. Yes, a lot of items go unsold in the jewelry and accessories categories... as well as others. Coach and Michael Kors and other designer brands, not much goes unsold, because here's the catch - - you pay fees on the starting bid. TH wants everything to start at $1. So you get punished if you start higher as to not get screwed by a low purchase price. Say you buy a designer bag for $120. If you start that bag at $100, you're already paying over $10 in fees. **IF** you can manage to sell it for a profit, there are still the commission and bank fees. If you start it at $1, you're barely paying any listing fees but it might only sell for $80 (or less!). So, less fees, but you lost your ass on the item. It's messed up. Most sellers have put in their time to see if they can make a profit or to see if TH will change, but they all seem to end up leaving. I'm convinced the only ones who stay to sell there are the counterfeit or crappy quality sellers who are buying items for next to nothing, because that seems to be the only way to make a profit there these days. I would go the ebay route if you're looking to sell.
