Ive noticed some of my mail coming from China have been missing. I reported it to the post office and also to tophatter. No one seems to know where these three items are. According to the post office and the text I get from locating my packages, it indicates my packages arrived in the mailbox which they did not. After my other packages get here, I will discontinue my services with tophatter.

I realize how frustrating it must be to bid and get a great deal on an item you love only to find it never makes it to your home. I'm truly sorry that this happened. I have had issues happen like this myself and understand the feeling.
Here is what I did to get my issue with my stolen and lost package resolved. I contacted the post office, spoke with a supervisor. The lost package was easily retrieved; the stolen package I was able to open a claim for.

If tracking indicates delivered were unable to issue a refund.

Items purposely enlarged when actual size is much smaller. Example, pictures on walls looks proportionate to a bed in advertisements when you recieve the item it actually dwarfed compared to what was advertised. Until you look at the description you realize the the actual size. During bidding you don't always have time to do

Had some Hiccups but okay otherwise, got refunded for issues that I had so I'm happy overall still waiting on a couple of items that I've been waiting on since June but have been promisedrefunds if not received soon

Overall I'm very pleased there is only 1 flaw that is disappointing that's if you happen to get a stuck button and place a bit or confirm there is no way to back out, simple solution sell back out credits $1.00 a piece must buy in 20 piece lots minimum it would give us the option to back out and give y'all a profit, now that being said if you implement my idea you can send me 10% of the profits,

On my first day of shopping I accidentally clicked on an item that I was not interested in. I made a few purchases in between until I cancel another item (a ring) that I canceled because they only had 2 sizes that I was not interested in. I received an item on 7/17/2018 ( a lamp) that is not as described. I still waiting for other items to arrived.

I love looking on Tophatter. I get items I would not normally buy if the price is right. A person can set their own limits on what they want to spend and depending on what time of day you get on... sometimes there are no bidders. I usually end up giving away most of the jewelry I buy because I really don't need it and most of it is pretty good stuff. Overall, it's fun

Answer: Justin you are absolutely correct. I find out the hard way. I had my own auction with nice AUTHENTIC designer items and cosmetics (Becca, Cargo, Smahbox, Too Faced, etc). I lost big time. $40 Cargo palette sold for $10; it cost me $15. Items that I started higher to cover my cost never sold. I still had to pay fees for the item being listed. A $200 Calvin Klein purse sold for $20; it cost me $80 wholesale. Run!
Answer: If you end up buying a few items from the same seller they can do a combined shipment but you rarely get the same buyer items since they only let the sellers sell 10 items a day. It is different for the sellers that have their own auctions.
Answer: You will notice the same names no matter the day, time etc. Bidding against you very often. Is it a coincidence? Personally I don't believe in coincidences.
Answer: Depends on what you are selling. Yes, a lot of items go unsold in the jewelry and accessories categories... as well as others. Coach and Michael Kors and other designer brands, not much goes unsold, because here's the catch - - you pay fees on the starting bid. TH wants everything to start at $1. So you get punished if you start higher as to not get screwed by a low purchase price. Say you buy a designer bag for $120. If you start that bag at $100, you're already paying over $10 in fees. **IF** you can manage to sell it for a profit, there are still the commission and bank fees. If you start it at $1, you're barely paying any listing fees but it might only sell for $80 (or less!). So, less fees, but you lost your ass on the item. It's messed up. Most sellers have put in their time to see if they can make a profit or to see if TH will change, but they all seem to end up leaving. I'm convinced the only ones who stay to sell there are the counterfeit or crappy quality sellers who are buying items for next to nothing, because that seems to be the only way to make a profit there these days. I would go the ebay route if you're looking to sell.
