A joke - It seems that they can pick and choose who they pay. Booked holiday through TUI - Due £88 cashback and it was declined or no reason 5 months after the purchase. Most of the other purchasers which I did through this site also declined and no reply from Top cashback when you complain and they certainly don't fight your case with the retailer - avoid.

I can assure you, if we're paid the commission you're paid the cashback.
Retailers will refuse our commission that we pass to you if either a voucher code was used or if the terms weren't followed or if the commission has been awarded but elsewhere.
I would encourage you to lodge a missing cashback claim so we can either get this overturned or give you the reason for the decline. Our whole aim is to get you cashback and we will do everything we can to recover it.

Been using topcashback for a few years now. Saved quite a bit so I'm very happy. My September £2 bonus wasn't shown on the system. I contacted them on fb messenger and they sorted it for me within couple hours. Highly recommend!

I don't go out shopping for health reasons and rely on online ordering for everything I buy and used to be a member of another cash back site but find Top Cash Back more reliable and generally much faster to pay out. I've been a member for a few years now and earned hundreds of pounds (£877 to be precise!) for buying what I would have bought anyway, but just by going via Top Cash Back, so it's FREE money! Every now and then something doesn't track but customer service has always been fantastic and the vast majority of the time, the money is paid out so worth a few minutes time to lodge a claim. They often have bonus money too which is very well received, which is on top of the normal cash back received.

Tried to use it for transactions, followed all the rules and bought my insurance straight away after clicking the button and it says it's been tracked. Amount never uplifted from 0. Have had to open 4 cases with them as it never works and no response from customer service either. Waste of time

While there are cases where we are not eligible for the cashback - such as when another site is eligible for the commission or when the terms of the retailer are not met.

Have used Topcashback for a number of years but in recent years every time I purchase any type of insurance something always goes wrong and no cashback ever materialises and there's always an excuse.
I have had enough of Topcashback and their fairy stories for refusing cashback as this never happens with Quidco.
I gave Topcashback one last try with home insurance and as always... nothing...

Ensuring you earn cashback is the reason we exist as a company and have no intentions on declining that to you unless we're declined the commission that we share with you.
I notice you mention you have this with insurance and so there are a couple of situations that could have led to this happening. This includes browsing for your policy / creating quotes before using our site. The reason this can have an impact is because the origin of your quote generation can be deemed as the reason you made a purchase and therefore be paid the commission rather than us. This isn't a situation exclusive to TopCashback and instead would be the same with any cashback service.
Therefore, it's advisable to be clearing cookies and cache before logging in to use our site and also to disable ad blockers and to not use any presaved quotes. This will give you the best chance of cashback success.

A few years ago the site was great, cash back was earned and paid back quite quickly, but now, the wheels seem to be falling off. My last few orders have been fraught with problems and the time taken for them to "investigate"them is very poor. I have offered to send them the receipt for the items purchased but am told I have to wait 3 months like everyone else. How on earth can it take 3 months to verify a purchase? I suppose so they can keep the money a bit longer...
Rather use the cash back on your debit card as Topcashback is starting to resemble a scam.

If a cashback purchase doesn't show in your account is pending what it means is that the retailer can't see that we lead to the sale that took place.
It therefore needs to go down a different route, called a missing cashback claim. These get batched up and sent to the retailer's cashback administrator every couple of weeks and then they review them.
These administrators (known as affiliate networks) work with a huge number of retailers and work with a lot of partners like TopCashback so the amount they have to review every batch is considerable. This is why it takes them on average 12 weeks to get back to us.
While I can't promise every retailer replies within that time, what I can promise is we have a large team dedicated to ensuring these claims are resolved speedily and if you would like me to look into something specific please do reach out to me at [email protected]
Of course, the best way to avoid these long time scales is to get purchases tracking right away without the need for a claim. The best way to do is us by clearing cookies and cache just before logging in and disabling ad blockers. This way the retailer and their cashback administrator can more easily see us as the reason you made a purchase and therefore award us the cashback.

Topcashback are not to be trusted, they will use any excuse to pay out, even when you have followed all the rules.

I can assure you the only aim of our site is to put the commission that can be earned back in your own pocket.
That said there is criteria that is used to decide if we are eligible for that commission and if that is not met and we're not paid it does mean we have to pass that response on.
There are two main causes for refused cashback, the first is that you make a purchase that falls in line with the retailer terms and conditions of cashback that you can find on their page. The second cause is that it's been decided that the purchase is eligible but the commission is not due to us. This can happen for a few different reasons but the most common is when you pick up a cookie before you use our site and then the website who dropped that cookies is paid the commission and not us.
The best way to avoid this is by clearing cookies and cache right before you use our site and also ensure that all browser tabs are closed when you use our site. This way it should only be us that is seen as eligible.
I hope this helps explain why there may be cases when we are not paid the money we pass to you as cashback.

Topcashback should not be allowed to continue advertising a deal and then not honouring the amount. I purchased a Virgin broadband package which was tracked.
After a few months Topcashback stated I was due £35 and refused to pay the £140 they advertised for that deal.
Don't bother using them as they will falsely advertise and not pay you the right amount. They will even let you know that you can't escalate your complaint and they are not regulated.

Never touch top cashback or Now TV broadband total ripoff both if them, placed an order for Now TV broadband through topcashback and several months later been declined, I have paid the £20 per month as agreed but now they have refused to pay the £76.50 back to me so this is a total scam by both topcashback and Nowtv broadband don't use them false promises and fraud, will be going to the financial ombudsman and the programme rip off Britain also the newspapers they need to be named and shamed both companies, topcashback come out with some excuses my god
I took out insurance through Top Cashback on 3 April 2022 with Sheila's Wheels as the site said that I would get a £40 cashback for using them. No sign of a cash back or even a pending transaction. I have tried to contact customer services but the process is poorly thought out and difficult to find the right option. Despite buying the insurance through Top Cashback their system just gives a message saying "No Transaction Found For Selected Merchant" which is just untrue.

I believe you would have used our Comparison Tool - TopCashback Compare.
The comparison tool batches up purchases every 60 days and then credits it to accounts as pending - meaning it can take 60 days to appear for you. This means there's plenty of time for this to progress for you as expected and some good news to share is this retailer pays cashback super quickly once it does track. So once it does track, you won't be waiting long at all before you pay it out.

Come to withdraw my first payout but their system tells me they're keeping £5 because of "Plus Membership". This was never explained when I joined. I've logged a complaint ("Support Ticket") then tried to withdraw my net amount in the meantime. Have added my bank details but the option to withdraw is not showing. They stink.

We do our very best to ensure it's clear from joining that there are two levels of membership. This has been further enhanced very recently too, ensuring that members fully know and can easily choose which membership level is for them. While Plus Membership gives you lots of perks such as higher rates and tell a friend rates etc we know it may not be for everyone. You have a 30 day grace period to choose whether it's for you but if that's missed our Customer Service team will be happy to help which includes the possibility of switching early if that's what you want to do.
Once you add details to your account, these need confirming but once you have confirmed you made a change to your account by clicking the link you get through email, you'll be able to payout.
It sounds like both of your issues can be sorted very smoothly and if so please do let us know how you get on.

Back in September & October (2021) I used TopCashback to see how I could save money on two new laptops (over £400 each) and there was a 10% offer with Currys PC World.
These were two separate orders about a week or two apart.
Nothing came through in November so I have queried what was happening as I haven't used TopCashback before so didn't know what to expect.
I lodged two complaints in November but haven't had any acknowledgment or progress and believe I am being left on the scrap heap.
This is appalling service and I had planned on spending more this way if cheaper, but given the hassle and false security of lower prices when TopCashback pays me, I feel I have no time for this and I intend looking elsewhere in future.
So, unless I get a positive response with the £80 I am expecting, I shall abandon TopCashback and continue to post news of how I have been treated on as many consumer websites as possible.

I am sorry to hear your purchases didn't track. The cashback we give to you is commission we get back from the retailers and share with you. When something doesn't track it means we're not initially due any funds for your purchases being made. This can be challenged through a claim however.
As a new member of our site you may not be aware of the tracking tips we give out to help avoid his happening such as clearing cookies and cache before logging in, disabling ad blockers, checking the retailer terms on our site and also making sure we're the only website open on your browser at the time of purchasing. All of these things can help prevent a claim being needed.
With Curry's in particular we cannot challenge the cashback until the cashback has gone through it's validation period which is a couple of months. You should have received a message on your claim about this, what I can assure you is we'll submit it as soon as we can and let you know once we hear back. I really hope we get paid this cashback, so we can pass it over to you and we can turn this experience around.

The most dishonest and morally corrupt company. I had made few transactions with retailers and suddenly they closed my account stating there was abuse. They never explained to me what they meant by abuse etc. Don't bother to do business with them who have no respect and regards for fairness and who are dishonest from the core. Use Quidco instead.

While we would like for everyone to be able to earn cashback, we will close an account if there is clear evidence to suggest our terms and conditions aren't being followed. Decided to search for a new Gas and Electricity tariff via TopCashBack, a site I have used many times before.
As usual, I cleared my cookies, browsing history etc. just to make sure.
Whilst in the site, I saw an advert for Vodafone broadband, with a cashback of £80, so I applied, without leaving the site at all.
Long story short, months later, although my visit shows on the TopCashBack site, "supposedly" they weren't the "last click" before purchasing, so Vodafone have refused my claim.
How can they not be the "last click", I never left the site.
Anyway, I called Vodafone, blaming them for not paying out, they told me that they have never had a cash back claim from TopCashBack, or anyone else, for my broadband contract.
Tried getting an answer from customer services at TopCashBack, but they just keep saying Vodafone have rejected the claim as they weren't the last click.
Sorry, something really stinks here... someone isn't telling the truth!
I now have a long term contract that I had no real intention of purchasing, and NO CASHBACK.
TopCashBack... please tell me what I did wrong, as I have genuinely NO IDEA.

I am sorry to hear your cashback was not successful.
The funds that we pass over to you as cashback is commission that retailers offer to sites for referring purchases. It sounds like your purchase despite being made after clicking through us was tagged to another source. That source could be anything like an additional discount - like a discount you get through work. It could also be something like you visited the site before using our site. In cases like that it's not deemed that we should be paid a commission amount for those purchases as the purchase likely would have been made without our involvement.
I do truly understand this is disappointing when it happens and I'd like to help you avoid this happening again. This disappointing experience is not great for you and similarly it's one less purchase we're seen as referring.
The best way to prevent this from happening again is by clearing cookies right before using our site, to bear in mind if you use other discounts etc it likely will mean cashback is declined as well as making sure you avoid from having other tabs open.
While I can't change the decision that has been made for this claim, I really hope that my response here explains the situation and helps you avoid this in the future.

We had over £3000 pounds of cashback pending and suddenly one day when we tried to login, the login failed. Since then it is like that with no redressal.
Use this website only when cashback is not the main consideration. They can close your account when they like and then you will regret your decision.
While they claim to have "fair play" policy, however they only use it when it works for them.

TopCashback welcomes a broad range of members, from those using it for everyday purchases, to those who may be using it much more frequently. As long as this cashback is earned in a fair way we won't have any issues.
If we ever feel a check in may need to be made, this will be done but as I say as long as the purchases fully meet the terms set out, our team won't have any problems.

I've used TopCashback for years and saves a couple of hundred pounds in doing so. Since the cookies have become harder to track due to law changes I have missed out on cash back. It is understandable and they always used to make sure you could raise a case and they would sort it out for you, it used to take a while but you go it in the end. I don't know if they have lost the good people, the training is bad or they just don't care anymore but the support has gone down hill. I missed out on another deal to get my latest BT Broadband deal through TopCashback and not only did they not honour the agreement they were quite rude about it. It cost me £145 so now I have been singing from the hill tops my story to to all my customers and network to ensure no one else starts a new relationship with TopCashBack. Affiliates are 10 a penny so bad service is just bad business. I'm pleased to say it has already cost TopCashback considerably more then the £145 it cost me, I'm not bitter (ish) but it makes me feel a bit better about the time wasted trying to support a business that has clearly lost interest in what it set out to do.
