I have purchased a dozen or more sets of tires and multiple sets of wheels over the years. I prefer to know the rating quality of the tires and not rely on a mechanics paid endorsement. Without fail, Tire Rack is the way to go.
I've been using tire rack since long before the internet for at least ten different cars and pickups. There has never been an instance where I wish I had used somebody else. In my opinion, there is nobody else.
Would have been 5 Stars but the Tire Rack Credit Card application process sucks. I don't blame Tire Rack. I blame Synchrony Bank. Would not recommend financing through them.
They are the best. Great prices, great customer service, free road hazard warranties, and free returns within 60 days if you don't like your tires. Can't beat'em.

I was searching for a specific Contential tire (ExtremeContact Sport02's) to go on my Miata. My local tire shops were unable to get this tire so I purchased from TireRack. They were at my doorstep 2 days later. They are going on a new set of Konig rims I picked up for a street driven 04 Miata. Wheel size is 15" x 7.5" and the tires are 205/50/15.
Always have had positive experiences. One issue with last order and a rebate, but customer service was very accomodating and resolved the issue.

There are too many steps in purchasing, but I imagine it's because too many people want to back out of buying tires. I have bought over 20 sets of tires from tirerack.com and they have all been great!

The biggest selection to choose from,. With a product review system that is not corrupted, with fast shipping and zero problems after more than 5 orders.
Wasn't too happy with a sarcastic customer service person. I'm thinking of paying off my credit card and going somewhere else. I don't need this type of help to be honest with you.
