Purchased 5 tickets to a Pirate dinner show in Buena Park, CA on March of 2020. We made reservations for March 14,2020. Well Covid happened and were unable to use our tickets. I contacted the Pirate dinner show facility and told me I could not use my tickets as they has expired in December of 2020. They also told me to contact tickets at work to verify if they could extend the expiration date. Well I did contact them and explained the circumstances to them. I was told that they could not extend the date. I asked if they could provide me with new vouchers as I spent over $220.00 on these tickets. I was told that it had to go through a process and even then I wasn't guaranteed new vouchers. Well that really sucks looks like I am out of $220.00. I will never purchase tickets from them again. All their emails they send out to me have been marked as spam. Do not recommend you buying from them. Covid was not my fault so I should be able to use my vouchers.

Difficult to get a refund from Tickets at Work
September 6, 2021

I was extremely disappointed when I booked a hotel through tickets at work and they immediately charged my credit card. Most other websites like booking.com take your card but do not charge until you actually are pass the no refund date or check in to the hotel. Then, when my plans changed, and I wanted to cancel my reservation, the agent spent five minutes and then came back and said they would issue a voucher instead. I had to argue with them and demand the charge be applied to my credit card and then that took another 5 to 10 minutes before he came back and told me the refund would be submitted and I should see A credit in about 15 days (!)
Also, I was told I would receive an email confirmation about this refund and I never did. I had to call back the following day and was told by another agent there is no email confirmation sent. So now I have to trust I will get my money back although the 15 days goes beyond the refund date. I will have to submit dispute through my credit card if I don't see this refund. All in all, I will NEVER use this company again for any purchase. All their agents are obviously based offshore a s well FYI.

I implore you to stay away from Ticketsatwork, consumers & business vendors alike, do NOT do business with TAW. We purchased tickets that indicated we could redeem online, however the vendor does not accept their voucher online. We contacted TAW to try to work it out, but all they did was blame the vendor & the consumer.
Customer service belittled us, at one point stating your ticket is only worth $35, "we do not have time and are dealing with $2000 tickets." (I feel sorry for the customer who spent $2000 at TAW, god bless you).
If it clearly states on the voucher that we can redeem online, and yet this is not true, it is fair to say TAW is not honoring their end of the deal. We simply asked for a refund. Well they absolutely refused. Customer service continues to address us condescendingly, telling us to just show up at the business without reservations... if the business didn't have available seats? Just take whatever seating they have available even if you have to wait hours for seats.

Vendors: TAW also pushed the responsibility to the vendor, blaming them for their malfunction website. The vendor website does work, it is the redemption code that is not valid. Please save your customers by stop sending your business to Ticketsatwork.

It is a small price for us to pay but huge lesson learned. Please stay away from Ticketsatwork, there is a reason for the across the board 1 star review, "horrifying" "Scam" "nightmare" are all accurate keywords. Wish I did my homework and saved myself the time & aggravation.

PS: the reps today were Randy, Augusto, and a lady who I do not recall name. Customer service skill is awful.

Don't trust these people! I reserved a $800 Hertz car rental through them. Cancelled 5 days in advance and Hertz sent a confirmation of cancellation. Then Tickets at Work said congratulations, you now have a $800 credit with us for other travel. WHAT!? Hertz approved so I want a 100% refund. It literally took 25 minutes and several talks with the "supervisor" just to get my money back. AVOID THESE CROOKS!

Ticket Cancellation Due To Injury Denied
August 29, 2021

My name is Michelle Case and I recently requested a refund for My Legoland California tickets that I purchased for this weekend due to a participating family member in the trip party being involved in an accident and breaking her leg prior to the trip. I spoke with "Kane" today and she explained to me that tickets are non refundable and cannot issue my money back. We are not able to reschedule because we do not know the extent of when she will be fully recovered. I'm a state employee and I work in a very large department and I will inform them to not use this service due to the non compliance of a medical relating cancellation. The fact that circumstances like this are not valid to receiving a refund are unacceptable and I will be relaying this experience to every social media account and user review platform I know because I work in customer service and I have never been treating with as much negligence as I have today. Thank you for your time and non consideration.

Scammers

I made a reservation with them months in advance and I called to make sure the car rental was and all set to go. We arrived to hertz to find out they couldn't help us because the reservation was under a difference name and the credit card didn't match. They told us we have to call TAW to get it fixed. Once we called they told me I could just cancel it which I agree was fine because at this pointed I wanted my money back and figure out my car situation since we were stranded in Las Vegas with no car. I was on hold for 30 mins and they ended up telling me there was nothing that could be done. I asked to speak to a supervisor and Daniel was even worse. He told me I was pretty much out of 839 dollars and he couldn't help me. I asked them if they could just modify the reservation with the correct name so I could at least get the car and he said nope nothing I can do. Even worse he was rude and said " you can try to get it dispute with your bank but I doubt it'll work". I was so upset I just hung up. I'm now out of 839 dollars and no car. Please don't ever make business with them. The little discount they offer is not worth it.

I rented a car through ticketsatwork on 6/29. When a i got to the airport I was told that I would have to have a 500 deposit due to not having a credit card. I contacted TAW and was told it would take 72 hours. After 72 hours and nothing I called back and was told it would be 7-10 days. I received an email on 8/18/21 from Malvin Mallari that he had received the order and would have a resolution in 72 hours. Well here we are 7 days later and have not heard anything. I called them and was told that it was still under review. I just want my refund. And will be letting people know not to do business with TAW!

My wife and I purchase LEGOLAND tickets for my son, his wife and our grandson for our grandson's 7th birthday but several children from his school was sent home due to positive covid scare at his school he had a high fever and had to go to the hospital the same day, he was given a covid test and immediately quarantined for 14 days which mean the California trip was cancelled. Everyone the airline, hotel and car rental all gave a refund except Ticketwork, the customer service agents would not even consider a voucher. So basically, we just lost $272.20 with nothing to show for it.

Initially I was sickened at the smell of moldy carpeting in the ground floor hallway to the room. The suite with balcony overlooking the ocean was in fact a corner closet of a room with a dirty old broken couch in one room and one bed with a small nightstand on each side and a corner window in the top left hand side of one wall, like a jail cell. The hotel staff said TicketsatWork had not booked an ocean view suite but it was considered a suite and the balcony was instead a small triangle of concrete between two buildings where other guests passed through from time to time. I will never book through TicketsatWork again and certainly never go to the Waldorf Astoria Hilton in Key West again. The pool was dirty looking and the tile in and around it was broken, plus the material on the chairs was torn and dirty.

Customer no service with off-shore contacts
August 18, 2021

Trying to reschedule an event due to COVID-19, was met with no consideration by the company's customer service and that person's supervisor. This issue was given over to an entity that was to consider request. I received a form denial. They could even customize it to my request. It noted my request for "refund", when I had request a venue "date change". I further ends it with "concludes this matter - no recourse".
I will figure a way to get the message "out there" about this company's policies and lack of customer service.

I have been working for MONTHS to get a refund for a March 2020 Master Chef Junior Live event that has since been canceled. They keep giving me the same unacceptable, canned excuse about third party confirmation that the event was, in fact, canceled. The event is clearly canceled and noted as such in various locations. When speaking with Mark in customer service, he said he could "assure" me the event "was not canceled" despite me telling him it is listed as canceled on the event venue website.

I would never recommend using this company now that it is clear how they operate when things don't go as planned. I would also discourage companies from participating as vendors and/or providing TAW as an employee "benefit." It has cost me more just in the time I've spent trying to get my money back than I saved with the discounted price that was offered by TAW. At a time when people need every penny just to make it through, not providing refunds and giving customers the runaround tells me all I need to know about this company.

I had booked a hotel with Ticketsatwork. The friend I was coming with ended up getting sick so I called to cancelled. Then I called to cancel the cancellation since the fee was high so I decided to give myself a solo trip. The agent told me I was good to go.

I arrived at the hotel and the front desk told me it was cancelled. I called Ticketsatwork and they told me it's good to go. The hotel gave me the phone number to the partner company that Ticketsatwork is with and the partner company told me the reservation had been cancelled. I called Ticketsatwork again and told me that someone sent me an email to cancelled, which I NEVER received. The agent put me on hold for 3-5 minutes; I ended up hanging up after being on hold for over an hour later.

The partnered company also provided me with the refunded amount. Ticketsatwork told me that it's non-refundable after check-in date. They refuse to refund me even thought they cancelled my reservation without my acknowledgement. It's $X00.00.

We bought a high end package through tickets at work which we were very excited about. We were to save about 10% which wasn't a huge discount but we thought we were saving at least a little bit. It was a dated ticket which could only be used that calendar date. When we arrived we were told that they had no record of our tickets and because of covid and other reasons they were sold out and we could not enter. We had booked our trip around this extra special occasion and were very upset. We had spent over $1000 for our family on these tickets. We spent a couple hours on the phone that morning trying to figure out what had happened with tickets at work and they assured us it would be okay and they were sorry for what had happened.
We come home from our trip and we still hadn't gotten our refund so we called and they issued us another 'ticket' for our request.
Nothing
Again, nothing... we have had about 10 'tickets' that they assured us would be fixed and handled and we still never got our money. Eventually, we got $200 back with a very weak explanation. We had to call back many more times.
Still 4 months later we have not had this resolved and tickets at work is not doing their part or showing any responsibility in their error. Not to mention the bad experience from our very special vacation. I won't ever use Tickets at Work again.

We bought tickets for Legoland through them. Legoland required a negative COVID-19 result to enter the park. My husband took the test and was positive. TAW was not able to give us a refund due to this. There should be an exception to their policy when it's due to COVID. We are still in a pandemic and their inability to show kindness in this matter is appalling. It's so disappointing since we planned this trip for a while. It's not like we changed our minds and decided we couldn't make it. Do you want us to go to Legoland with my husband sick and completely out of it so we can fulfill this trip? This is completely sad in an already sad situation.

BUYER BEWARE

I prepaid a reservation for a car rental but did not have a debit card in my name. When I called to switch the reservation to my wife's name (whose name is on the debit card) I was told that I had to wait about 3 hours so they can talk with their suppliers to see if this was possible. After finding out that it was NOT possible for them to switch the reservation to my wife's name, I was advised that I'd have to wait about 10-15 business days for an approval of a refund and about another 10-15 business days for the refund to be credited to my account. To add insult to injury, I was further advised that there's a possibility that the money I pre-paid for my rental, would not be refunded... because it's part of their Terms and Conditions. This is supposed to be a company perk. WHAT A NIGHTMARE WHILE BEING ON VACATION! TAW STINKS!

I made a hotel reservation through TAW but because of change in plans had to cancel, well within cancellation timeframe.
The charge was immediately pur on mt credit card but I am STILL WAITING ON REFUND... which I was first told about 12-15 days but just called again and was told refund did not process and would put it through again and to wait another 15 days.
Totally unacceptable, is all I have to say!

TicketAtWork is a big service fail. I certainly will not be giving them my future business. I purchased two tickets to a Harry Styles concert for August 2020 for over $700 dollars.The show has now been postponed 2 times. Unfortuantely, I cannot make the latest date in November 11,202. Addtionally, TAW and Harry Styles it seems a bit unreasonable to reschedule a tour without notifying anyone. I do not understand how a business can operate this way, so disappointing. I purchased tickets in the past from Ticketmaster for Amy Schumer and it was rescheduled twice and I was able to obtain a refund. I understand we are in a pandamic. Plans change and people laying out this kind of money need it back. It seems dishonarable to hold on to people's money in this situation.

If you look at any of their theme park tickets, you can get the same rate on the actual park website. I was looking today at Seaworld and the tickets on the Seaworld site are cheaper than tickets at work. This made me look around at several packages to see. Pretty much there is no savings to book with this company. I do not recommend, a lot of false and flash advertising but no real savings.
