I loved the process of shopping with thredUP from start to finish! It combines all my favorite aspects of secondhand shopping with the convenience of online shopping. The only thing I wish is that shipping was a little bit faster, or that "slow boat" shipping was free.
I have order a couple of times and all items were new or almost new condition. They arrived very quickly and in the cutest boxes wrapped in tissue paper! I have to return one item in the first order due to not fitting and they gave me a credit to my account promptly. I am very satisfied with Thred Up!

ThredUp is simply awesome. I have seen a few items on the site which are. Lets just say not very attractive, but the site has been a great help so far. Ive only had one hiccup. I purchased a pair of pants that happened to be waaaay bigger than the size it was supposed to be. Other than that. I love it.

ThredUP's inventory is amazing. I've placed over 4 orders within just a month and so far, I haven't had a single issue with them. There's some amazing deals in the website and if you are careful to read the item's description, select the appropriate filters and take a careful look at the photos, you'll have a wonderful experience with them.
I haven't sent a bag to ThredUP and I don't plan to because they clearly state in their website that they only accept 50% of the items they receive and they even give you a list of brands they accept. If your clothes' brands aren't on the list, you're just sending them gifts for them to resell to other consignment shops and use the money to keep their website up and running.
I've read some horrendous reviews from seller's end and my first guess is that they didn't read ThredUP's warnings. It's all very clear so unless you don't care whether they accept your clothes or not, don't send a back. It's that simple.
Their costumer service is also very prompt with replies, having the mobile app adds a boost since you can get additional 15-20% somedays with their mobile coupons. For those of us who use Ebates, they have a 2.5% cash back. Honestly, they're a great deal to find high end clothes at affordable prices.
I ordered with ThreadUP for the first time a couple weeks ago, and let me tell you, I'm addicted! It's like going to a thrift shop, but from the comfort of your own home, AND someone already sorted out all the ugly clothes for you!

I have shopped on Thred-Up a couple of times now, and purchased several items, all of which have been really great. I would highly recommend getting anything that is in like-new or new with tags... haven't tried anything else.
From shopping to shipping and even returns, this is one of the best online experience I've had. Customer service is awesome, the items up for sale are some great finds. I am always excited to recieve my polka dot package, the care that goes into every order is wonderful. My only complaints some of the prices are closer to retail than gently used, need to offer more customer promotions and the search options could be a little more detail for easier search. Otherwise I really do love this site and I look for great items daily.
I always get exactly what I expect and the customer service is great!
