I wish I had seen that their overall rating was so low before ordering, but I was driving and wanted a florist in the same zip code my daughter lives. The customer service agent was foreign - their orders are obviously not taken locally - and NO local phone number is posted on their web site. She was difficult to understand and spoke so quickly, I could hardly break in. She did not advise me that the cost was already 40% off, which means their normal prices are very high. They advertise free delivery, but make up for it with a huge "service fee" ($16 on a $50 order.) When I followed up after I had a chance to see the bill, I got a long and very defensive email. I admit that trying to order from my car was an error on my part, but I advise looking elsewhere with local florists who can have a local phone number and a customer service agent who speaks English. I will not be shopping here again.
After selecting an arrangement to be delivered same day, as per the promise on their website, I received a call several hours later from an employee who sounded put out to even be calling me. She indicated that the flowers I ordered were out of stock and would therefore not be delivered. There was no offer to replace my order with something comparable that would be delivered on time...nothing...just a promise that my card would be refunded. By the time they called me, it was too late for me to make other arrangements elsewhere for same day delivery. I am so frustrated by this treatment.
Arrest them. They are a scam in Las Vegas. Their website pretends to be in whatever town you are in. They have a call center that steals money and gives fake status.

Because everything that the others say happened to me. Please be careful in managing expectations from this company. Been waiting 2 days for flowers to get delivered. So if you don't care what or when you get them. This is your place. Nice job keeping a business sustainable via nice looking website.
I ordered a bouquet for a friend that lives in Lake George two days before I wanted it delivered. Not living in New York, I had no idea that Terrys was not from that area. The day of my friends birthday, I received a voicemail that told me they had supply problems and could not fulfil my order! Yes, they gave me a refund on my credit card but now to let me know the day before was most disappointing! I will never order from them again! Go to Allysons if you need a local florist!
First, I looked online for LOCAL florists. Terrys advertised as "Local family run florist in Irmo SC". Only later did I discover they were in Las Vegas. Second, they failed to deliver the "local" flowers after having ordered them a week ahead of time. Third, it is nearly impossible to get hold of a real person. Took 7 calls. When I did, was on hold for 30 minutes for them to access the order. Fourth, promised deliver the next day. Did not deliver. Fifth, took another 4 calls and 3 emails to get someone again. Again, promised delivery the third day. No luck. Flush your money down the toilet. It is much easier and achieves the same results.
The flower arrangement was awful. It was not the flowers I ordered and paid a premium price for. I contacted them and the satisfaction guarantee was also a scam. I asked for a full refund or a replacement and they refused to replace and gave me a $26 refund which was also to cover the deleted balloon that was attached to the arrangement. With service fees I paid almost$100 for flowers to a local hospital. The flowers arrived at 7:30 pm after I called to find out what they were.
I was hoping to give a local small business the order but I sure learned a brutal lesson.

Could not be more disappointed in this company...flowers for moms birthday are not getting delivered today as promised. They have called me multiple times today to ask me stupid questions... and to boot even though they came up as a local florist in my moms town...I now believe that they are not. Lets see if she gets them tomorrow the day after her birthday.
I ordered the "Memories to Treasure" flowers from them for a funeral. I live in Florida and was not able to go in myself to see and order the flowers. When I called, I specifically asked how tall and wide the bouquets were- this is why I chose the premium size. They told me that it was 44" tall and 36" wide for the $215 price tag. When I got to the funeral in Metairie on March 31st, I had a hard time finding them. It was so small-no more than a couple feet tall by maybe 18" wide (that might be overstating the size even). In speaking with others, they paid less than our for beautiful flowers. If you are ordering from out of town, DEFINITELY DO NOT use these guys. Go in and see for yourself. Total charge was $246.
They advertise as a local family run business but we have learned they are not! I did not receive what I had ordered - but instead got a very much smaller and inferior spray with half dead wilted flowers. I ordered a beautiful spray called the ocean breeze spray. With a white ribbon with blue letters spelling out BROTHER. I called several times trying to rectify the issue but they made zero attempts to resolve this and even after sending an email with pictures. They've told me "another department must review. Such BS. I am disputing the bill with the cc. Please see pics of what we ordered and what we received horrible. They deserve a 0 rating!

Flowers never arrived. No one answered the phone after calls made daily over a week! Finally I got someone on the phone today that told me they cancelled order because they did not have the right flowers for the bouquet. No call,text or email letting me know. What a horrible business. Do not order here! Terrys florist in Pahrump is the worst excuse for a business I have ever experienced! Big thumbs down!
My kids ordered me flowers from Terrys for my birthday. Was told they would be delivered first thing Friday morning. About noon my daughter called them and asked where they were as they had not been delivered yet. They told her they tried to deliver but no one was home. I was home all day and had my curtains open so I could see if anybody came up. No one did. I called and was hung up on 4 times. Called again this morning and guess what? Hung up on AGAIN! Finally got through again and was told no one was home yesterday for delivery and I didn't answer when they called. No one called from there. I asked repeatedly where my order was and was told that they needed to investigate. Never once did they say that they would get that delivery right out to me. Just kept getting talked at not to. Never got a straight answer so I told them to refund my kids immediately I was heartbroken because my kids tried to make my birthday special and Terrys Flowers ruined it. They were so smug and uncaring. Don't let them put you on hold. They never come back and that's when you get hung up on.
A friend of mine ordered flowers for our friend in TN. We paid $75.00 dollars to get yellow roses and white carnations. When they were delivered, they looked horrible and looked like they came from a supermarket. They did not have not one yellow rose and not one carnation. I would never order from them again. Don't waist your money with this florist!

I am EXTREMELY disappointed in their customer service. I ordered a bouquet of purple flowers for same day delivery on Monday. About 3 hours later I get a call saying they did not get their shipment in and that they would not be able to deliver until the next day. Tuesday came and I got a picture from who I sent the flowers to. And they were not even remotely close to what I paid for. I emailed them and let them know they messed up and the wrong flowers were sent. They informed me that the delivery was made and considered complete and successful.
I explained that if you go to a restaurant and order steak and get a burger then the restaurant corrects the mistake. They said they would refund me 14.99. I told them I want the flowers I paid 80$ for sent. They then said they would refund 29.99. I again said it's not about the money it is about receiving what I ordered. And that I need them to make this right.
The fact that they will not correct this problem shows that they do not care about the people that come to them but just about the money.
There are other florists in the area and I will be going to them next time.
There isn't even an EXTREMELY PISSED star or that's what review Terry's would get! This is $#*!ty excuse of customer service and good business. The card used was charged not once BUT TWICE and I have yet to see any flowers delivered and this has been going on for 2 WEEKS! DO NOT USE TERRY'S FLORIST!
Could not verify that they actually delivered the $100 basket of flowers that I ordered. Absolutely the worst florist I have ever dealth with.
I paid 176.48 for a large arrangement. Online order shows way more flowers and better quality vs ones delivered. Beware!
We ordered a floral arrangement to be delivered. The recipient said they never received them. So we called to find out what happened - the rep said they tried to contact THEIR driver to see what happened but couldn't reach THEIR driver so there was nothing they could do to help us until they confirmed they weren't delivered. Then, in the mean time, they called the recipient themselves who also told them they were never delivered. And it still didn't matter! And all this was after sitting on hold for 35 minutes before finally talking to a rep!
I placed an order at 7 am. They confirmed it by email and then by telephone about 3 hours later. Then more than 5 hours after that they called and said they couldn't fulfill my order. Thus, ruining my special occasion as it was too late in the day for another florist. They then put me on hold for more than 30 minutes trying to get my money refunded. Terrible service. Don't use.

Answer: Exactly, not only do they swap flowers but also the vase. A completely different product gets shipped than what they have on their website. They point to policy that they can swap whatever they feel is of equivalent value and are currently using Covid as an excuse.
