Many customers express frustration over unfulfilled orders, particularly for important occasions, alongside a perceived lack of communication and inadequate customer support. While a few positive experiences highlight timely deliveries and satisfactory product quality, these instances are overshadowed by a prevailing sentiment of disappointment and distrust. Took about 45 to put an order in to get a plant (not) delivered to a hospital. The call center is located somewhere in NJ but you're going to be talking to folks somewhere overseas. Needless to say it's very false advertising as the advert lead me to believe I was dealing with a Michigan florist.
Got an email the next morning that my order was cancelled because the plant ordered was out of stock. You'd think they'd have the courtesy to call to substitute.
When I tried calling them to substitute, they hung up on me.
If you want your time wasted and special day or event ruined, deal with these nutty folks.
I ordered a beautiful purple butterfly arrangement for a friend who lost his wife. What he received was basically two $3.00 violets in an ugly pink color with a dead stick stuck in it. So embarrassing. Customer service is a joke. So much for satisfaction guaranteed! They should go to jail.
What a disappointment! I had the weirdest feeling after I placed the order, which I was hurrying to do. Big mistake! I should have looked at all the reviews! What a scam! My niece was so sweet and "thought they were beautiful" but she is a very kind person and appreciated the thought. But when I saw the pictures that she sent I was infuriated. As everyone is saying, they were sad looking, droopy, a very feeble attempt to duplicate the beautiful arrangement that I thought I had ordered. Not at all worth the $80 that I paid for them. When I talked with the fellow at 6pm on Friday night, he assured me that they had all the flowers available to create the arrangement that I was paying for! I forgot to ask if the flowers were alive and fresh, not nearly dead and not enough of them to do the full arrangement! My bad! This is so sad and it seems to be happening all over the country if not the world! What are we to do with so many scammers out there ready to take advantage of us?
Ordered a dish garden to be delivered the next day. Received a call that is was not delivered. Tried to contact someone at Terry's. They answer the phone but that is it. Three days later and no delivery and no answer as to when it will be delivered. Cancelled the order!
I wish I had read the reviews before ordering. The flowers I ordered looked nothing like what was received and they use their substitution policy to justify their actions. See the photos for what I ordered and what was received. Also their email response. DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM!
I ordered flowers for my wife. She didn't receive what I ordered and the delivery was late. When I contacted them about the error I was told that their substitution policy says they can substitute any flower, arrangement or vase they want. However, I paid for a deluxe arrangement and my wife received what was obviously the basic package. It would have been great if had I been notified of the change as quickly as they accept my credit card payment. Customers should be allowed to decide if they want something other than what was purchased. I wish I'd read the reviews before using this florist. This business is a scam!
I ordered three arrangements for a big event, and purposely selected those that were listed as available that day. After numerous phone calls from this florist throughout the delivery day to ask about substitutions, confirm address, and to ask questions that I'd already answered in the call 5 minutes prior - they informed me at the end of the day that they had no flowers and cancelled the delivery. It was too late for me to go to another florist, so I spent the day waiting for delivery and ended up with nothing. I don't think this florist actually has flowers; they must go out and try to shop after taking an order. Worst experience with a florist I've ever had. Beware!
They canceled my order about 3 hours before a funeral which meant it was too late to order anywhere else. Not happy at all!
Finally after contacting the Better Business Bureau, the company completely refunded our money, but it took a little while. I would still not ever buy from this company again. I do not trust that it has changed it's ways.
The flowers were delivered, but they charged us $101.58 for something that was not even close to the flowers pictured. They are thieves.
The arrangements are aweful. They literally go to a store and buy the cheapest flowers. My best wishes ballon was a " You're #1". The worst $80 set of flowers I've ever purchased.
I wish I would of seen all of these negative reviews before making my order. This is what I get for trying to use a local florist. I ordered a beautiful looking bouquet online and received some janky ugly looking bouquet with literally almost all the flowers different from the picture and a completely different vase. I then sent an email expressing my frustration and I was basically shown the fine print policy of substitution and basically sorry you should of read our fine print before ordering. Are you kidding me, I have never seen such uggggly substitution in my life. It was like the just put in whatever they had, old as heck flowers and just sent them out and just hoped for the best. I see now with all of everyone's reviews I should of looked these people up. Such corrupt and dishonest business!
Our family ordered flowers for a funeral to be delivered to the site of the service. Thirty minutes before the service began, I received a call saying that due to an issue with their vendor, they were unable to fulfill the order and would be issuing a refund. When I asked why we were not informed in enough time to have a substitute floral display, I was told they weren't able to do that because they had no flowers in their shop. To add insult to injury, now I am getting daily emails with ads for their business! I will not use this company again and would not recommend it to others.
I ordered an arrangement for a new baby. They charged $64.99 for a total of three white roses, daisies and alstroemerias. With service fees and tax, the total was $85. I could have made a larger arrangement with flowers from Shop Rite. Three days later, the roses had browned. My only compliment would be quick delivery.
I messaged them and they claimed they were looking into my complaint but I never heard back from them. I sent pictures three days later of the dying roses and still heard nothing. This is a horrible florist and I would suggest spending your money elsewhere. Poor customer service, poor quality!
These flowers did not come delivered as shown in the picture in the web site. I wish I read the reviews before I purchased. I felt like a damn fool when my wife got them for our 11th Wedding Anniversary.
I ordered a med. Planter on 10/9/21 at approx. 9:15 am. Sarah, who took the order said it would definately be delivered on Saturday the 9th. As of 12 noon today 10/11 they still have not received it. & no one know where it is. Terry's florist is part of a warehouse type business that calls or contracts with any local florist. I called them because the website said they were in Jenson Beach Fla. (that is the info I put in to search). They are like Teleflora on ly advertise as local. DO NOT USE!
Ad says same day delivery! I called 2 days prior to the memorial & funeral. Told me the were a couple blocks from funeral home assured me flowers would arrive on time. They were not a couple blacks from funeral home and flowers arrived a 1/2 after the funeral! Do not use!
Terrible service, not same day delivery as promised, no compensation for inconvenience, didnt honor the ten percent off! Spent a long time with customer service n emailed to get a dismissive response! Jerks! Waste of money! Use a different flower delivery service.
Want to get ripped off - Just use Terry's Florist. I was out of town and had to use my iphone for finding a florist to deliver. Their number is *******738 so if you dial this number just hang up. From the website I chose a bouquet of flowers for $ 59.99. I ordered and was asked if I wanted to do the premium upgrade. Asked them what I would receive for $ 41.00 more dollars and they said many more flowers of which most would be roses. My wife is worth this (and a lot more) so, I said "please do." What my wife received wasn't even a smaller equivalent of the original bouquet pictured on the website. I paid more for about half as much. They added green ferns and subtracted the roses. This kind of stuff should be illegal. I hope you do not get caught the way I did. Best Wishes to all looking to make their wives happy... SO DON"T USE TERRY'S PS I would click no stars but this isn't available
The website has a large banner on the front of it that states 40% off and free delivery. I ordered the bouquet on the phone and when I got to the end of the conversation, the representative (Sarah?) informed me the grand total was somewhere around $130. The bouquet is listed as 109.99 on the website - I asked her what the price is after the 40% discount and she said, no that was with the discount - completely false advertising! Needless to say, I cancelled my order immediately. I see why they have such a very low overall rating - So glad I didn't go through with the purchase. I'd hate to see the final product.
A Peace Lily Plant Was ordered for my brother in law funeral service. Placed order on a Monday, service was on Thursday. Clarified that flower would be to funeral home in time for 9 AM service.
Plant showed up after service has began. Terrible customer service, not to mention rep hung up on me.
Answer: Scam - product received not as shown. Uses COVID 19 as the reason for poor quality product at a shocking price.
Answer: Legit but they only send what they want. The descriptions are lies.
Answer: Exactly, not only do they swap flowers but also the vase. A completely different product gets shipped than what they have on their website. They point to policy that they can swap whatever they feel is of equivalent value and are currently using Covid as an excuse.
Answer: It's a scam, not even based anywhere. It is a call center. I lost 107.77.
