Exceed Expectations

This review is in regards to Terry's Florist located in Florida. I wanted to send my mom roses for her 82 birthday, and being I live out of state, I didn't know who to call, so I googled local florists in Florida. I came across Terry's Florist and decided to call. I spoke to a pleasant woman who repeated my order exactly, so I know the florist knew my expectations. Once my mom received her arrangement, she was very surprised and ecstatic. After seeing pictures of the arrangement, I was extremely pleased with the 25 long stem premium roses I had ordered. I've noticed Terry's has not received very good reviews, perhaps due to online ordering? So I highly suggest placing an order over the phone to speak with someone who actually works at the shop then surely you will get exactly what you want, and Terry's will exceed your expectations as they did mine.

BAIT & SWITCH!

Ordered the premium version of the bouquet on the right. My family member received the one on the left. I paid $80+. Terry's refused to make this right or provide a full refund. They just sent me a copy of their substitution policy which states they can substitute flowers for others if they're out of stock. As you can see, there are no substitutions… just empty space. I could have done better buying flowers at a gas station!

I ordered on a Wednesday and they didn't deliver on Thursday or couldn't do it on Thursday. They blamed their supplier and simply asked if I wanted a refund.

I ordered flowers for my husband's mother today for delivery today due to the loss of her brother. I placed the order this morning and 2 hours later received a call and text that they did not have all of the flowers and needed to send their "designers choice" of flowers. I asked if they had a particular flower that I wanted and they said Yes - so I agreed to their "designer choice". It is now nearly 4 hours later and I received a call that they had issues with their wholesaler and would not be delivering the flowers and said they initiated a refund. If they could not make the flowers, they knew that this morning- why call me for permission to substitute the original flowers with something else they also did not have? If they would have told me 4 hours ago they could not make it happen instead of asking to substitute - which they also could not do, I could have ordered somewhere else!

I ordered the Clouds of Heaven bouquet for a funeral service for $124.99, plus $15 for delivery. This arrangement consists of mostly lilies and roses. What was sent was completely different. There were no lilies at all and there was one rose. The bouquet consisted of mostly daisies and expired flowers that I cannot identify. I am embarrassed that this bouquet arrived to the funeral home with my name on it. When I contacted Terry's to air my grievance, they informed me of their 'substitution policy.' They are refunding me $31.24. This does not begin to compensate for the haphazard bouquet that they sent.

Ordered flowers on Saturday morning for same-day delivery - received a text that my order was 30-minutes away. 2 hours later no delivery. I called customer service multiplied times and spoke with a guy in India that promised me that my flowers would be delivered Saturday. They never arrived.

These dumb asses then emailed and called my mother o Sunday to see how her delivery was!

Zero stars! False advertisement. Flat-out Liars. I Googled florists in a specific town. Terry's came up #1 and referenced the town I googled on the opening page. There was a picture of a gorgeous, classy sympathy bouquet. I called rather than order online. I asked, "are you located in xxx? I want to send flowers to xxx." Reply, "Oh, yes, only 15 minutes away!" "You're local?" "Yes. I see the obituary you're referring to. We can deliver today." I order the premium version of this gorgeous, artistic arrangement. 15 minutes later I'm called back. "Supply issues. Can we substitute with a similar arrangement, same value of flowers as you paid?" Very heavy accent, phone number registered to Albuquerque, New Mexico. Not the very small southern town I specifically asked if they were located in. Result, a bunch of flowers shoved in a plain vase that looked like a four year old arranged them. Not a single ounce of artistry that the "similar" picture showed. Fool me once, shame on you. You won't have a chance to fool me again.

I ordered flowers yesterday Thursday 7. 7. 22 for my sister to receive them on Friday 7. 8. 22 coming back from Florida because our mother just passed away and I wanted her to have flowers delivered to put a smile on her face.
This morning Friday 7. 8. 22 I called to let them know that if she was not home to just drop the flowers at her front door. The person that I spoke to wrote my request on my order. I just got an email reading We apologize. Unfortunately, due to an issue with our vendor, we were unable to fulfill your order. SO WE ARE MOURNING AND THE FLORIST IS SENDING ME AN EMAIL RIGHT NOW. TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE BUSINESS. I AM A BUSINESS OWNER AND THIS IS SO UNACCEPTABLE. TERRY FLORIST YOU SHOULD CLOSE YOUR DOORS IF YOU DO NOT HAVE FLOWER!

Double charged

Ordered flowers for my mother for her 85th birthday. The order was placed on early on the morning of 05/30/2022 to be delivered in the afternoon on 06/01/2022. Once the order was placed on the internet, I received a pop up box that told me that a confirmation was being sent to my e-mail address. I never did get it. When the flowers did not arrive to my mother on the date I requested, I thought I made an error in my order. I went online and ordered them again. Still no confirmation. I sent an e-mail to the store telling them that my mother did not receive her flowers and I did not get a confirmation on either order. I was letting them know that I had to order twice since she didn't get them. The next day I did receive an e-mail response with an apology and my mother received 2 orders the next day. I let them know that they should only charge me once. They confirmed with me that they had only charged me one time. Upon receiving my credit card statement, they had indeed charged me 2 times. After contacting them to discuss the manner, they only are going to refund me $15 for the service fee. I responded that if they would have delivered the order the first time, I would not have felt like I may have made a mistake in ordering and that I never did get a confirmation. They are still not willing to give me me the refund even though I have an e-mail from them telling me they only charged me once.

I ordered the Premium Peace Lily which costed me $90.88. They say it was delivered. I have yet to have confirmation that it was and I do not even know if it looks like it was supposed to. I asked to make sure it had a Red and Blue bow on it since my Godfather was a Buffalo Bills Fan. Supposedly it did. When I talked with someone the first day it was supposed to be delivered that say. The order was done before 2pm so it should have been, but I received a call and asked if it was OK for it to be delivered the next day. No one I spoke with could speak proper english. That should have waned me right then and there! Never again!

I ordered this beatiful arrangement for a dear friend that was having surgery. I have never been so embarrassed by a flower arrangement. I belive the pictures speak for themself. The first photo is what I ordered, the second is what she received. I was utterly shocked when she sent me a picture of the arrangement.

This company is a scam

Do not order from this company. I am pretty sure that this is a scam. I ordered funeral flowers on a Thursday over the phone and was notified on Friday (after the supposed delivery time) that they were unable to get the flowers to the funeral home in time. I then asked them to deliver to the families home instead by 8 PM. They told me they were stopping everything to get it done but in fact did not deliver to the family. I was not notified until Tuesday. This company is either a scam or completely unreliable.

What is pictured on the site was not what I received. When I reached out, they refunded me 1/4 of what I paid and sent me their policy. While I understand flowers and color schemes may not be accurate THEIR policy says replacement of equal or HIGHER value. Please see photo of what I ordered vs. what they sent. Will not order from them again. I ordered the big red white and bloom basket, and received the tiny planter with 2 flowers and some filler.

Their customer service did respond fairly quickly, but not with a reasonable resolution.

Only look for a bricks and mortar store. This is an online store. If you don't see a LOCAL address and phone number, it is an online place. Do not use them, you never know what you receive. There is no "Terry" they use anyone they find on the web.

I called and ordered some flowers today because they stated they were a "family owned" business. The flowers were to be delivered same day. I left my phone number in case of any problems/issues! When I got home from work, I saw an email stating that the order had been cancelled due to low supply! You didn't know this when I ordered the flowers!? What bad customer service not to call and see if there was maybe another arrangement that could have been sent! I would never recommend this florist and should have read the reviews to begin with! They have a 1 star rating!

I could not have been more disappointed when I saw the picture on Facebook of the pathetic bouquet of flowers that was delivered to my niece's bridal shower. It was certainly NOTHING even close to what the PREMIUM bouquet should have been. It looked like a kid grabbed a few stems from the grocery store, picket out a 5th grade looking balloon and delivered it to my niece. Even though my niece was sweet and grateful, I was embarrassed.

I was devastated at the "arrangement" delivered for a dear friend's funeral. You don't get a chance to do this over again and make it right. Difficult to place order as nobody spoke fluent English. Good thing I am a designer, because they were not knowledgeable nor helpful. The scarce basket was almost empty and the fresh flowers I paid extra for were left out entirely. How embarrassing for the dear family and myself. They take very little responsibility for any mistakes or lack of designer ability.
