False advertisement
April 4, 2023

Yesterday, 3/2/2023, I saw an ad for Temu on my Moovit public transport app. The main message of the advertisement was that new users of the Temu mobile app may receive 3 free products of their choosing along with free shipping. Thus, believing it to be authentic, I clicked on it. I download the Temu App, then I select the three items I want to receive for free. But before you get all the items, you have to play a Hat Trick Draw game.
During the game, I was able to easily win the first two items, but every time I got to the last one on the hat trick game, I miraculously run out of energy points, and then they said I must invite friends in order to gain more energy to draw again, which leads me to believe that the game has been rigged.
But because I was determined to win all three items, I spent a total of two days attempting to invite as many friends as I could in order to accumulate enough energy points to draw and win my final item. However, I soon realized I had wasted my time and effort after Temu informed me that all three of the items I had selected were out of stock. (They said this after I won all three items).
They didn't even let me pick three other items that weren't out of stock; they just claimed it wasn't in stock where I was, and that was it. I genuinely wasted both my time and sleep. I deserve to know why Temu scammed me this way. I followed their instructions, so where are my freebies?

Temu for crafts and household, small toys

We have over 20 orders on Temu. We loved almost our items. 98 percent satisfaction. I wouldn't rank it high on clothing, but for household, and crafts, and adorable building block toys, Temu is unmatched. I thought this was a wonderful place to deal with but I was wrong. The description on the products does not give a clear picture of what you are buying and secondly the shipping is always late. They actually ship the items very late and the delivery date on tracking the item keeps on changing. Shein delivers on time but I still think that no one can beat the delivery service of Amazon and Walmart.

I'm a first-time customer and at first i was very skeptical, because i see other sites i thought was ok, but - turned out bad for me like example wish.com...that particular shopping site i don't like anymore and has lots of bad reviews. However, i was willing to try temu.com after excellent. Reviews by the press in the United States of America and other countries like Canada i logged on and really fell in love with what i saw and the prices of items like clothing, electronics and home goods. The things were great quality and fit to American sizing for clothing., and for electronics it was state of the art quality and craftmanship!and also, the shipping was easy from China to USA. After placing orders, it was a really easy and speedy process to my doorstep. I think I'm 100% satisfied overall. I am upset with myself, because I didn't read the everything about the refund policy. If so I don't think I would have ordered. Can't get my money back. I can only use the refund on their merchandise, which isn't right, it's like you making buy your items. Didn't want to order anything thing else. I have ex amount of money tired up with them. I have. I placed an order with them And was supposed to receive my package on 2/16/23. Instead of receiving my package I received a note from the United States post office stating that they regret to inform me that the postage label on my package is counterfeit I must pay for my shipping. I refuse to pay since the shipping was free. I've been fighting with them ever cents to get my money back. Every response is the same from them. They refused to give me my money back stating it was shipped. So, I had to file a dispute charge.

Bad customer service

Very poor customer srvice even they dont knew what they are talking about,ordered many items,after 5 days of waiting on update on shipping,I found my items canceled due to unusual activity. Called them after many discussions, the agent asked for payment evidence after 40 minutes talk and discussion and providing all the required documentations, next day revived an email it says(please provide your concern and let us knew how to help you).DONT west your time with this website, even there items are poor quality and fakes
There customer service doesn't know how to solve issues, keep you waiting even some times there response is different from what you ask for
If you succeed with the payment. They take 2 days submitting your payment, 3 days packaging after that they might cancel your order, if they don't cancel it then they ship after 3-4 days.Takes long time to arrive

I ordered three pairs of shoes. The first pair I began to tighten up the laces and the lace tore right through the eyelet. The other two pairs of shoes were advertised as "HEY DUDES" a brand of shoes. These shoes ARE NOT "HEY DUDES". Legal?

Pretty good i think

Havent been on temu for long but i've had a p good experience with it so far. My things get delivered kinda late tho but alls well that ends well as long as i get my product. The important thing is that all the products that ive gotten were in good condition it just 1 shoes didnt fit i had to get them exchange.

I ordered a bunch of clothes for school and some gifts for my brother and aunt, and i've been waiting since the 17th. I know shipping is around 7-15 days, but it hasn't even been shipped yet and the delivery date was supposed to be between today (february 28) and march 4. I can't imagine it'll be here before march and i don't really want any money or credit back, just the stuff i ordered because it meant a lot to me. I loved the experience with this app and the shopping spree, but i'm a little irked that costumer service won't help me at least figure out where it is. I have no tracking information except for that it's "preparing to ship", and it's said that for several days now. Hoping something changes soon :(

Not happy with temu it looks all nice but in reality it's a scam for people to help them get more people. They say free gift just share with friends and you will get them. When your done doing what they say the app starts taking away your credit so you won't get the free gift it's a scam for you to buy more and find them more people to use their app.
