Liars!

I have had to jump through hoops and spend time annoying my family and friends with this site(I referred multiple people, bought multiple orders, and never received my promotion that I was promised)… don't promote this company! I ordered 3 items from temu and they sent them after 3 weeks. 2 of the items were defective, missing parts. After chatting with them (as no way to talk to them), they said they cannot send the missing parts and to return the item. Now, only 1 item is allowed free returns, the other I have to pay for. What a SCAM from these guys. I would avoid these people at all costs. Typical Chinese site scamming people with cheap goods and return policies.

I wanted the dresses I ordered so bad. They came as the tracking # said. I took them out of the package and tried one on. They were TOO small and they had long sleeves which I didn't order either. The dresses were to have no sleeves at all. Not satisfied at all. Will not order anymore.
I have no return label, so the package will have to be sent regular mail.

I HAD A BIG PROBLEM WITH TEMU THAT LASTED 2 MONTHS, BUT I WANTED TO TRY ONE MORE TIME TO SEE IF TEMU HAS BETTERED CUSTOMER SERVICE. TEMU COLLECTS THE TOTAL AMOUNT OF ORDERS USESES THE MONEY TILL THE MERCHANDISE IS NOT RECEIVED BY THE CUSTOMER THEN ASKS FOR A REFUND THEN 2 MONTHS LATER MAYBE. AFTER THE CUSTOMER DISPUTES THE MONEY CHARGE BACK TO TEMU'S ACCOUNT THEN THEY REFUND THERE NO CUSTOMER SERVICE WHATSOEVER. I CALLED AND WAITED 5 HOURS STRAIT NO ONE ANSWERED YESTERDAY ALSO I CLICKED ON THE OPTION ON TEMU WEB PAGE WITH MY PHONE # NO ONE CALLED ME BACK, TODAY CALLED AGAIN NO ONE ANSWERED AT ALL THRU ME WAITING ON THE PHONE ALSO AND. 4 TIMES I SELECTED TEMU TO CALL ME BACK AS TEMU WEB PAGE OFFERS I INCLUDED MY PHONE # EACH TIME ON ALL 4 TIMES. THE REASON FOR MY CALLS WAS I HAVE CHANGED THE PAYMENT METED TO DELETE THE VISA CARD ON FILE ( IT WAS STOLEN) AND ADDED A NEW CARD, BUT WHEN WANT TO CHECK OUT IT WON'T COMPLETE THE PURCHASE. EVEN THOUGH NEW ADDED CARD SHOWS ON MY PAYMENT ACCOUNT POPS UP A LINE ASKING ME TO SELECT ANOTHER CARD OR ANOTHER METED WHICH IS WHY TEMU BANCKRUBED OR NO LONGER EXIST. WHICH? I was skeptical about Temu but I ordered a dress that was actually very pretty and good quality. It didn't fit, which I thought might be a problem with Asian sizing, but they refunded my money immediately with NO HASSEL. I will order this dress again in a larger size.

Cheap prices, ok quality

It seems like the reviews either are 5 star or 1 star, so I want to give a neutral review

You can get some useful (or useless) items pretty cheap, when they are good it's a bargain, and sometimes surprisingly good, but don't count on high quality. I've bought a lot of similar or some on the same stuff on Ebay and Amazon, usually for a little more.
They are not a scam, but are always trying to upsell with promos, emails, on the site, "spin the wheel" stuff, last chance- this is annoying over-marketing, but must work. You can ignore it, but you can't make it go away.

Popular Items can sell out fast.
Slow shipping, but they are very upfront about that. You can pay more for faster shipping.
No experience with customer service, but generally if you're buying a $10 item it might not be worth returning, I assume they bank somewhat on that.

Poor Business Practices

Being this was my first ordering I was totally taken aback by the entire process. First, I ordered 02/22/23 not receiving a package until 03/06/23. Opening the package the realization that this was not any of the items ordered by myself. I ordered nail supplies and toys for my children. I recieved puppy clothes and fake foliage. I was given alot of irrelevant apologies. Resulting in no assistance in a refund or when I could expect anything. I was given vague information on time frames a handful of unwarranted lies. Nothing helpful at all so disheartening to say the least.

Didn't recieve

I was supposed to recieve four orders at the same time I didn't recieve any of them I can't get anyone to answer me on live chat it automatically processed my refund on two of the orders not recieved and said contact customer service on the other two orders which seems impossible I really had good experience with Temu up until now there's two order numbers

The packaging was extremely POOR quality. One item cracked, and the box of another crushed. The quality of the items, not up to par. Yes, you get what you pay for. I reported my broken item that cost over one dollar and got a.65 cent credit - really?
I gave them a shot, now, will never use them.

When I asked to cancel the order and for a refund, (the next morning)they said the charges were still pending so they couldn't do anything. Called my bank and have gotten credit for 7 of the 13. Should have the rest by tomorrow.

There have been many items I've seen on FaceBook and Amazon, learned not to trust many of them because of quality and price issues. However when I see something I do like there I check with Temu to see what they charge for the same item and then read their reviews. I've always saved at-lease 50% from FaceBook offers. The only drawback is sometimes orders take a little longer to arrive then Amazon (however I think Amazon is evil and try to avoid whenever possible.)

Placed an order in Feb 2023. Temu uses SpeedX delivery. Wrong package with someone elses name and address was delivered. I opened package and to my suprise it was a cheap china par of Nike knock off soccer shoes and a drum pad. Address was a town 25 miles away with a total different address. Called Temu customer service and chatted online. They apologize and stated my package is still on its way. 5 days later received a notice my package was delivered 5 days ago. Yes a package was delivered 5 days ago but it was the wrong package. Called TEMU again. They stated sorry and they issued me a refund and told me to order again. They did not even offer to resend my shipment which was suppose to be 50% off. When I asked where they were located they stated in Connecticut but they sounded very chinese. Seems clear to me this is another attempt for China to sell products to the USA and ship directly from China to avoid all the tarrifs and issues of trade between the USA and China. I will not be ordering any items from this company again and will be deleting my account. I know this company ran a 30 second commercial during the 2023 SuperBowl but I think they are very shady and deliver cheap quality products.

TUMU is a fair company for some great items. I have had a store in the past & seriously they have a lot of good items to order for resale. If you design your own jewelry & have family projects so the students can design earrings & sell them for profit; then this is a decent fair company to buy from. & it beats buying from the gift shows where you'd pay 6 to 10 times the prices on findings. & their jewelry of broach pins. My post is real as my review & name. I am an ex columnist as well. Ahough dome garments may not be as we expected; but TUMU definitely makes up for it on some great extremely fair items. I & some of my local & out of state business affiliates researched this site agreed, this company has a great stuff in it & they didn't have to drive to Orlando to buy products for resale when they can simply & patiently read & look over all of TUMU 's merchandise. As for the shipments being late. We had no issues with it. We also had a Fedex tracking number. A lot of times Fedex workers might have went to the wrong house; as this was done to one of my friends in Melbourne. The lady recently kept the package & because she felt she could. I've had fedex asks me if I'd keep a neighbors package& sign for it is myit & when that person came home could I take it to them ….I told the driver in the past that not my business & I said: NO! Early Last year ab abundance of packages where found in the woods somewhere. You might have seen this on tv. It happened & could you imagine all the people complaining & blaming companies in case they ordered. Gifts for their love ones. I like to tell it like it is … give this company a chance. So far we are impressed …we are saving money for some great gifts as well as discounted supplies for our students for their crafts so they can make products & earn money for school functions.
