Returns are a nightmare!

Returning items are a PAIN! Very frustrating and disorganized returning several items. Most of their customer service is completely incompetent and will waste your time having you wait forever on hold without a resolution! Most of their women's clothing the material is not good quality at all!

You get what pay for. The thing that furnaces me about this online company is they advertise products with the best pictures! Advertising SCAM! They are scammers! I ordered two items and will not order from them again. I got my merchandise but it is cheap material! Nothing like the pictures! So deceiving! Never again.

I've placed exactly three orders with Temu.com, all of which I placed on my computer, by typing the site name into the web address bar, and activating Rakuten cash back before adding items and purchasing. All three orders, I had to reach out multiple times to get my cash back. I reached out to Temu directly and they told me to reach out to Rakuten, which I have also done. I finally received cash back for 2 of the 3 orders, but I am still fighting for the cash back for my order placed on 10/14/2023, WEEKS ago. Several times, Rakuten has updated to state Temu has not provided cash back for the order. I've already notified Temu I will not shop with them anymore for this reason. Do not state you will provide cash back if you don't plan to honor that - keeping your word is a huge thing with me and I will not purchase repeatedly from a company that will not keep its word. I've unsubscribed from emails and texts and put in ANOTHER request with Rakuten to find out why I'm not getting cash back, but this site is a joke for that reason, which is sad because most of the items were actually ok, except the shoes were small in size and I'm not sure I will be able to wear them.

The app is swift and cheap. However full of products that simply live up to racist stereotyping. Shirts with "I'm not Irish but drink like one" imagine a shirt with the message. Not Chinese, but have a gambling addiction like one, or car sticker "leave plenty of room the driver behind this wheel is asian." There would be outrage. Obviously I didn't buy the Racist item. Racist stereotyping is not nice no matter who it's directed at. I deleted the app.

My order was delivered to the wrong home, I informed them, and the picture taken by the delivery driver was not my home. I did everything they request me to do and they still refused to refund me my money. I did not feel like a valuable customer because they keep transferring me to different departments and when they finally had someone to help. Molly stated that my delivery was delivered to right address and to take a look around my home. I definitely look around to see if I had been delivered but it was not. I would not contact costumer service if I did have my items that I bought. The thought of someone having the things I bought it makes me mad and sad because I paid for it and was excited for them.

SCAM ALERT

I ordered a LARGE order ($200+) thinking it was free returns so I can try on and return items if anything didn't fit. BIG MISTAKE!

I returned EIGHTEEN items in the same package. They told me they received only 3! And when I complained, they magically "found" one more item the next day. After that they don't let you dispute anything. It's ridiculous.

Now I have to contact PayPal and my credit card company to dispute the charges. But judging by the MANY other negative reviews here, this is probably common and hopefully PayPal will stop accepting them soon.

HORRIBLE SCAM company.

Game shopping SCAM app

EDIT: To be fair, it's not all junk. If you actually get the savings applied, you can find some neat trinkets at a good price. Also, the false charge on my account was valid, my bad Temu. (Family ordered something.) BUT, only a few of the promos applied and I spent $150 on a $100 order.

Essentially, it's a convoluted coupon game. They will hook you with free promo offers that lead to more savings the more you spend, rapid fire, with a timer. But the "$100 coupon" rewarded after the first "level of buying" is a perfect lame representation of what Temu does-- you get 3 tiered offers with discounts the more you spend-- which equal that "FREE $100 COUPON". It's nonsense... but I still spent on the offers. When the bill comes, the promo savings have vanished, and you pay full price for (sometimes) junk. The price really determines is it's "junk". Customer service asked to verify the promotions not applied, then listed a whole bunch of promotion offers, expecting me to remember between several similar promos. It was one price in my cart when I paid, then the full overvalued price when I got the bill. So, Temu stays 1 star and I'll never use the app again.

GUESS I HAVE NOW LEARNED A LESSON TEMU IS A REALLY SLICK OUTFIT,
First time order had some issues customer service was responsive after that first call I have found it all but impossible to actually be able to speak to Temu! Order today had damaged items (so did prior orders) Chat is available but for me a novice to both my ipad & iphone I really needed to speak to someone order today #PO**************131 items damaged and the incense actually made me gag! Non touch thermometer did not work with new batteries ipad stand scratched I am writing this review to pay it forward don't waste your time or money especially if your young I am a retired Physical therapist and even though I can afford Temu I can no longer use Temu it's a total drag to buy stuff only to receive some junky damaged items! Not being able to speak to their customer service is beyond frustrating it borders on a form of unethical store policy! What a really unpleasant experience Temu is a wretched disgraceful buying experience! Just pass Temu by other online retailers are offering great savings and they have good customer service!

Initially found customer service to be responsive either by chat & phone this was for my first two orders and always used Paypal! Recently efforts to reach Temu service has been unsuccessful and frustrating this includes their Chat & phone number! Temu is a disgusting company and here is why Temu phone service is endlessly a long if not impossible wait which is exactly what Temu has set up most customers simply give up and who can blame them? Stay safe and stay away from this scam company! Save your money and save your sanity!

Hello, I've just recently got Teemu and the "deals" are BS. It tells you if you spend 20 bucks or more you will get $100 bundle and then the bundle just ends up being four different coupons that you have to spend a certain amount of money just to get that $30 coupon not to mention when you use the coupons you have to pay for shipping and handling yourself, and don't get me started on how long it takes to get here, we're talking weeks even months. I spoke with customer service, and they are absolutely no help whatsoever. I spoke with customer service, and they are absolutely no help whatsoever F**k Teemu, stick with Amazon. At least you get free shipping and 2 day delivery and no BS CLICK BAIT!

Received refund but had to fight for it

After all Temu put me thru, I submitted a detailed letter with proof to the State of California Consumer Protection Agency, showing there were indeed two packages and not 1 as Temu insisted over 8 times. I provided the UPS notification received with the weight, date & tracking number prepared the exact same time as the one package I did receive that only had 4/11 items ordered & weighed <1 lb. However Temu never sent my second package to UPS, even though TEMU prepared a label & notified UPS it would follow. Package weighed 4 lbs. All of the documentation with images I sent to CPA moved them to notify Temu. I also sent the same letter to Temu headquarters. After an internal investigation and prodding by the CPA, I received a detailed apology letter and full refund. I gv them 1 star still because I should not have had to FIGHT to make them do the right thing by refunding me. I forced their hand and it was extremely stressful and unnecessary & unfortunate bcuz I really liked shopping their site prior to this interaction.

Criminal business happening!

I've usually been a happy customer with Temu and their products, I've always received everything I ordered in a reasonable time, usually less than 10 days. My last order consisted of 11 items which cost me over $61 and I was excited about my pending delivery. Because the order was large I expected two packages but was notified there would only be 1 20" x 17" when it arrived I received a package 15" x 16" with only 4 of the 11 items. I got 2 rugs & 2 bathroom shelves. The bag could not hv fit any other items. I notified Temu of the 7 missing items and within 24 hours they informed me that the warehouse stated all my items were shipped in 1 bag and their records show delivered so my refund was denied. After referring I don't know how many people to this company I feel like a fool, I received $21 of the $61 and they hv refused to ship what was missing or refund me for what I didn't get. Until I get my money back there is no length I won't go to so ppl know it's possible to get royally screwed by this company. I contacted the shipping company that confirmed the size and weight of my package which was less than 1 lbs. and 4xs Temu refused to refund me stating they checked the video and all 11 items were stuffed in a small package & delivered to me which is impossible! Most likely they were packaged in 2 bags & someone mistakenly put a label for someone else on my package, which my daughter has gotten someone's else's order before. I will not rest until I get refunded or the item shipped that I ordered but did not receive. Buyer beware! That's IF you actually receive it! Criminal!
UPDATE! I used my credit to purchase a few of the items I never received a but paid for & then I was going to delete the app. Once I received shipping information I went into my UPS app to track the package to see when I could expect it. I noticed that there was a package also coming from Temu also packaged on 19 September the day after I place my order and it weighed 4lbs. I contacted UPS who stated they never received the package for me to contact the shipper. It is a 4lb package obviously containing the 7 items I never received and yet Temu is still insisting that they checked the video in the warehouse and all 11 items I ordered was placed in one package weighing <1 lb. totally ignoring the fact that I have proof from UPS that a second package was prepared for me the same day that I still have not received! They are unbelievable! Proof provided below! They deserve zero stars!
