The person I hired was on time, polite and good at his job.
The first tasker was incredible. The second was a disaster. Very unprepared, I think pretended to know what to do. I felt uneasy having him complete task, but it turned out alright.
I do not like the unknown of who I get. I want quality people all the time.
The electrician that I hired through Task Rabbit was great and so was the plumber. Unfortunately, the paint work I had done with one of the Taskers was very expensive and was done poorly. I had to spent a lot of my own money to prep and prime so there shouldn't have been so much to do. It took him an extremely long time. Frank was the Taskers name. He neglected to tell me that he was working other jobs and came over for 2-3 hour increments. I will not go with Task Rabbit again because of the problems I had. There was very little they did to try and resolve my issues even after I had made a complaint. I feel like it is worth the money and time to hire someone directly.
I've used Task Rabbit several times for "handyman" type jobs around my home. Always happy with the people performing the work, and the quality of the work.
Hi, I bought a new TV and I was unable to mount and plug all that stuff. There is an offer of one of my neighbours and... voilà, we became lovers...
This was my first time using TaskRabbit. I needed help moving a large television, and I was able to schedule a tasker through the app for the same day. He arrived on time and we got the task done. Highly recommended.
I had three tables (coffee and two end tables) that needed to be built. It was fast and done right. Amazing service.
Worst tasker he does not know how to assemble things well
I use TaskRabbit for everything! From messenger service to electrical work, they are the best!
App needs serious improvement. I scheduled a task that never happened and got charged for it. Disputing the charge with my credit card company. Was able to rebook but the first error should have never occurred.
My movers were supposed to come at noon and did not show up until 8-ish. They were very tired from their prior jobs and took over 4 hours to move two truck loads a few blocks. Extremely disappointed.
They were very professional and did a great job. I had no issues with the work performed.
Arrived on time. Clean and thorough. 3 pieces of Pax finished in 5 hours.
Was directed to Task Rabbit by IKEA. Had an appointment scheduled and they didn't even show up... the worker was Eugene C. I would recommend you don; t waste your time and just deal with a more reliable company. However maybe another worker would show up? Would give zero or negative amount if an option...
Don't book Walid, he likes to stall for time and I didn't like that because I was willing to pay but I don't like wasting time
This is a review of the COMPANY, not the helpers I hired. They've been great. But beware that the company gouges you coming and going. First, they take 20% off the top of the helper's charges. Okay, fair enough, they provide the helpers with marketing and access to a client base.
But THEN, when the customer gets the bill they add a 15% "Trust and Support Fee." WTF? On a $458 bill -- of which they deduct 20% before they pay the helper -- I got whacked with a $68 fee. REALLY? So on a $458 bill, they get $159 or about 35% of the total charges. Complete and TOTAL GOUGE. Going elsewhere.
I am uniquely qualified to this a label this as a rip-off because I've been a Rover sitter for years. Rover takes 20% of what I get paid. Period. I get marketing support, guaranteed payments, liability insurance, an emergency assistance hotline (which I've used), training, tools, a pretty good app, and quite a bit more. At the same time the Customer know exactly what it's going to cost them.
Too bad I'm not using this service again because the helpers I've hired have been really good.

"Tasker" (which must be a euphemism) canceled twice after confirming he was literally on the way; with no explanation or attempt to reschedule. IKEA must be insane to partner' with these dopes.
They charge by the hour and dont vet their people to see how competent they are. I had someone come and hang curtain rods which took him 3 hours to do! Im so upset and there is no one to contact at task rabbit!
Answer: Mine responded and loved to chat. At the end, he cancelled the appointment. What a waste of time. Very disappointing.
