I have ordered many times from this app and never had any issues. Unfortunately, I ordered two different takeaways on one evening, but got charged 4 times for 2 orders. I sent over my bank statement to customer services which clearly shows 4 charges for 2 orders and they are refusing to give me a refund for the overcharging. They have robbed me of my money (which would be very easy for them to see on their system that they've overcharged) but instead of refunding me, I have received patronising emails. Awful awful company. Do not use them or you'll be scammed.
The worst delivery company I've ever dealt with! I never write reviews but this company is just so bad! I waited 6 hours for the food delivery. Never use them or you will most definitely regret it!
I ordered food and they cancelled the order without me telling them I have been waiting for 2 hours strait and they still didn't didn't get me anything or text me or call me that is so bad and rude I don't like this and I don't prefer anyone using this it happens to me around 2 or 3 time this is not okay
I don't need to explain. Just tell your customer if you cannot deliver don't ask for the staff for deliver it. I was shame with the staff who deliver my order to me just thru walking. Poor SERVICE TALABAT
Very very slow service this is the fifth time i order and the i receive the food after 2 hours i keep on complaning during the 2 hours the costumer service is very bad and unhelpful i tried cancelling my order but they told me the order is already on the way. I will never use ttalabat again
Horrendous. I am so glad they are starting to loose customers. They is what they get for taking the food business lightly and making people hangry. Had my food come 2 hrs and a half late! Are u insane! 2 and a half hours?!
I ve placed an order then 40min later revived text order will be cancelled I called Talabat they say it restaurent who cancelled as driver called you but no answer however I didn't receive any call from anyone and why would it be cancelled without my permission! I ve called directly the restaurent this time they stated that Talabat canceled your order and they sent us a message!
When I called Talabat for solution they say it not us we can only refund so I was juggling in the middle within this poor service and would they canceled order after long period of time of waiting! And why you can't reorder it not my mistake it yours! The only solution is refund and do it all again that very unprofessional!
I had lunch with some of my colleagues. It was delicious. I had a Margarita. The service was excellent.
Talabat is unreliable and the customer service is awful. My parents were away and me and my brother were starving and decided to order food. I hate talking on the phone so we used Talabat. I ordered a burger for my brother and mention it have no onion, ketchup, or pickle. The site didn't recognise this and it came with all three of those things. We took this up with customer service and they were extremely rude and patronising, refusing to admit their website had glitched. They refused to replace the order with a new one. Awful service indeed.
Hands down the absolute worst delivery experience of my life... 2.5hrs after ordering and paying... still no food! Do not use this company for delivery therr are so many others in Dubai that are far better
It says no minimum order yet they called me and would not accept my order as the restaurant requested does has a minimum order which is not noted online or the application.
Would never use Talabat Go again. Order took 3 hours, and then came half missing and half destroyed. Customer service was unapologetic and unhelpful.
Wish I could give them minus points. Tried ordering from a restaurant from which I previously ordered and it says selected area is not accurate. After chatting with Talabat customer service staff he says the restaurant doesn't deliver at your location when the restaurant still shows that it does deliver at my location before I could say anything else the chat was logged off. The food when it's delivered takes around 90 mins easily.my suggestion would be to stop using this app as it's not professional like uber eats in certain countries. I tried Talabat in Qatar btw where there are hardly other food delivery apps unfortunately. However, I will be trying the app Carriage heard its better than Talabat. Save yourselves the horror guys and don't order from this app.
For the second time in the row an hour after placing my order I contact the restaurant and they tell me that Talabat havent gave them my order I check my track your order on the app and it shows that my order has been placed I called Talabat and they blame the restaurant but my previous order was with another restaurant so the fault is definitely with Talabat. Terrible customer care very disappointing
YET AGAIN! Yes again! They messed up the order then during the next 2 hrs after my order was placed promised to call me back. Absolutely disgusting customer service. Robotic, like they're reading off a script. Won't answer yes or no when I ask if I will receive a replacement order. Then ask ME to call THEM back in 15 mins if the order doesn't arrive again. Only for it never to be replaced anyway. The last time I waited 4 hours. Both occasions the order was just 1 small pizza for 1 person. I can't imagine how they'd cope with a big order. Talabat has an extremely poor service and when u order from them its a big regret because they will follow up on your order as the same time u are promised you will receive the food so basically you are waiting for 2 hours to receive your order... so my suggestion just order directly from the restaurant itself and not Talabat! Poor poor customer service and lazy call center.
They dont even deserve one, I ordered today and there was a driver from talabat who should deliver the food, he came with no bill and took 10% more than the exact amount plus I found that 1 item is missing after complaining and calling many time the very very pooor call center with lazy and poor supervisor they promised he will come and apologize and return the amount he was taking by force as tips and the cost of the missing amount, and guess what notttthing happened he never showed up, can u all believe it they couldnt control their driver from stealing from people and his bad attitude and they completely did nothing.
I really hope that the CEO Abdulhamid Al Omar know that is poor unprofessional stuff no with customers and try to solve it before its too late, I will for sure remove any payment credit card details before closing the account as its not safe at all to deal with those people
Talabat's own delivery service in Muscat is extremely poor. For example, today I ordered from McDonald's. The driver called me and then disappeared. I called customer service 5 times. Every time they have same reply "Our concerned department will follow up with you". The 'concerned department' does not care. I have stopped using Talabat after several terrible experiences.
Every time we order, we add in the "Request" column to bring change to a particular bill, and every time this sour faced delivery person of Hot Pot would ask "no small bill?" and would insist to give him a small bill. The request is even printed on the receipt!
These delivery restaurants should make it a standard to give their delivery people "funds" for possible need for change or better yet, read the Request column properly. We will not request for change if we have the exact amount available. Yesterday was the worst, he complained that his other customers would just give him the change! We really like the food from Hot Pot, but if this attitude and inefficiency continue, who would like to patronise them more. Please remind them to do what is right and send polite delivery people.
