One-Sided Experience

As a business partner, working with Talabat has been an incredibly frustrating and one-sided experience. It's clear that their sole priority is squeezing out as much revenue as possible, even if it means walking all over the partners who actually deliver the service.
They listen exclusively to customers, no matter how unreasonable the complaint may be, while completely ignoring the vendors. It's obvious that their support team is instructed to ignore the partners – every conversation feels like talking to a wall. You raise legitimate concerns or flag issues caused by their own system or delivery staff, and you're still the one penalized.
There is zero accountability, no real communication, and certainly no respect. Talabat doesn't build partnerships – it exploits them. If you're a business thinking of joining the platform, don't. Unless you're ready to be treated like a disposable cog in their money-making machine.

Unfortunately, my experience with Talabat was very disappointing. My order was canceled, and I contacted customer service for several days, only to receive repeated, automated responses with no real explanation or respect for the issue. After persistent follow-ups, only part of the issue was resolved, but my account remains banned to this day with no clear reason or prior notice.
I requested a full account deletion, and my request was completely ignored. The only response I received was, "You can create a new account," as if the problem didn't matter to them. The customer service was cold, unprofessional, and lacked any transparency or respect for the customer. Conclusion:
Part of the issue was resolved, but my account is still banned. The entire experience was terrible and unworthy of a major name like Talabat.
I will not use the app again, and I do not recommend it to anyone.
Final Rating: 0 out of 5 – only because they eventually replied after pressure.

Issues every time we order. Last time the driver forgot a shopping bag in his car and talabat wouldn't refund! STOP USING TALABAT. They don't respect their customers. The management in oman is the worst and the drivers are rude and dirty.

Worst Delivery App

Talabat is a disaster! My order was late, cold, and wrong—burnt pizza with over-fried chicken. They cancel orders automatically without reason and refuse refunds. When you ask for one, they block your account. They steal customers money. Customer service agents only cares about getting a good rating, offering no help. The app is glitchy, and food quality is terrible. Save your time and money—stay away from Talabat! ZERO stars, but I have to give one to post this.

Horrible talabat

I first ordered fast food the guy ate some of my food without my consent and guess what talabat said they dint care I recommend you don't use this. Another time I ordered carefour and they forgot to bring one item and guess what they got paid and dint even bring back the missing item and then they gave a refund I hate talabat I reccomend you don't talabat and when I was on talabat website they just banned me for no reason look at the picture of what it says.

Talabat Has Started to Seem Fraudulent!

On the 18th of September, I placed a food order through Talabat. To my surprise, I was charged twice. When I contacted customer service, I spoke to Khadeeja, who reassured me that my money was "safe" with them. I responded, telling her I never asked for my money to be "safe" with Talabat by being charged twice on my card. She then assured me that I would receive a refund within 5-7 days.

Later, I spoke with Mohd Mubin (manager Fikre), who clarified that it would take 5-7 working days. I patiently waited, but when I followed up on the 25th of September, I spoke to Hina, who once again reassured me that my money was "safe" and urged me to wait just one more day for the refund.

I decided to open a ticket through the Talabat app. A manager from the finance team reached out, informing me that the refund timeline would only begin on the 22nd of September, when the issue was supposedly "resolved," meaning the countdown had restarted.

Honestly, Talabat, is this your new method of making money? Charging my card twice and then forcing me to chase my own refund? Your service is beyond disappointing, and now you've stooped to robbery!

Worst of the worst

What ever they do to you the maximum they can offer you 15 derham voucher lol. Every 3 times you order be sure u will face an issue atleast once. I never made any bad review for any company in my life but this one they really deserve it

Insect in the food

I placed an order with Talabat for 3 kids meal, once opened there was insect inside, complained to Talabat and they informed that Zaatar w Zeit will contact me to resolve the issue which never happened, I m a regular client in this branch bt will never ever eat there and will make sure none of my family or frds will do, hygiene is the first and most important and they failed 👎🏻

Useless app

Takabat app became almost useless and not reliable especially with food orders. Support is so bad and useless and you couldn't reach easily as they couldn't help with the big problems on operations.
One of the examples my order #*******271 in Dubai, was cancelled after waiting for 50 minutes without even calling or explaining... just "sorry order again sir, without resolve". Repeated situation. I am shifting to delivaroo now

If I can rate 0 I will. You don't have a customer support line. No chat support. I tried to submit a ticket while having a problem paying... the lady called and asked me to take a screenshot. There is no option for screenshot for security reasons. Are you guys serious. So called the restaurant and order straight from them..

Worst customer service

Talabat went really bad with the team service. You will order from them under pay later and the order will be missing a lot and they will compensate you with 15 dirhams while the missing order will be more than 20 dirhams. And they will say we can not do nothing about it and keep on repeating it. They are ripping couple of dirhams from there clients. I guess that's how they make money...

Nothing but thieves!

As I very clearly stated on the phone I will be requesting a refund through my bank under the visa guarantee. This is far from resolved. You delivered me inedible food, I contacted you straight away in November and have had to chase up the complaint over 20 times, because there is no way to contact you straight away otherwise I would have sent it straight back! The level of customer service is appalling, and I have all the evidence to back up what I am saying from the messages and emails. Issuing me a voucher as compensation is not refunding me my money. You are nothing but thieves. I will be posting me experience all over the Internet for others to read also! Absolutely shocking experience.

I placed an order recently, and unfortunately, I have received broken item with the delivery. Despite reporting the issue promptly, I am disappointed to note that my concern remains unresolved. It has been three days, and I have yet to see any action taken to rectify the situation.

They have really pathetic refund process where they give you authorization code and do not bother to refund the amount. Later ask for bank statement. Recently me and friend both went through the same experience and bank clearly said we didnt receive any payment from talabat. #fraud

I made an order yesterday and it came with no seafood in the soup and the pasta had no seafood and kept complaining and asking to return the order and have a refund and no one gave me any feedback and asked for pictures for the order and sent them and no one contacted me back. I order from talabat on daily bases and this is unacceptable level of customer service if I had ordered from the shop directly they would have resolved the issue much better than talabat. I am very upset that they ignored me and will write bad reviews on all social media and google and all places I can find.

I don't recommend this application whatsoever!
