T-Mobile Reviews Summary

T-Mobile's reputation is marred by significant customer dissatisfaction, primarily stemming from perceived deceptive practices regarding promotions and service quality. Many customers report issues with billing, unresponsive customer service, and difficulties in resolving problems, leading to frustration and a sense of betrayal. While some reviews acknowledge initial satisfaction with service and product offerings, the overwhelming sentiment reveals a trend of distrust and disappointment, particularly concerning support after the sale. This feedback suggests a pressing need for T-Mobile to enhance its customer service approach and better honor promotional commitments to rebuild trust and retain customers.

Long story short, the company sucks! I couldn't pay my bill One month after being on time and being with the company for TEN years so I asked for an extra 4days the next month to pay both bills in full and they said no. They wanted to extend me to the day before I wanted to pay which was the day before I was going to get paid. So they wanted to disconnect me and make me pay a reservice fee. Like I've been with the company for TEN damn years and paid! I can't get an extra 4 freaking days. Like sheesh, your going to get your money! So I'm switching to Verizon, better service and company anyway! Doesn't make any since to treat your customers that way.

My service is the worst it just goes in and out, straight talk from Walmart gets better service. Proof from comparing with a buddy, and they charge out the wazoo, just to many glitches, it is literally like they block your service sometimes. Cannot believe this!

T-mobile withdrew over $700 from my account without authorization. I switched from Verizon to t-mobile and due to the horrible service of dropped call and delay in calling it switched back. Prior to switching I stopped my recurring payments. Without notice or authorization they took $727 from my bank account. I requested a refund which was denied because I originally had ach, they told my I did not stop the recurring payments (I know for absolutely sure I did) so they were not going to provide a refund. I am beyond furious with this company. They have a class action lawsuit going on in Florida because of the fraud they pull. They have great prices but are truly unbelievably unprofessional and will scam you without a doubt.

I have been a T-Mobile customer for 19 YEARS. I'm going on DAY 3 trying to coordinate with Assurant on a exchange claim. They want me to call and confirm personal information BUT MY PHONE IS BROKEN! So how the #%$^ am I supposed to do that? Two days trying to IM has become too frustrating.

Go Any where else!
February 24, 2016

It sounds good when you sign up. However they're services that you access all month long just to be charged $30.00 0$40.00 a pop. Then, when you decide to leave the company, they tell you that you can't! What. Excuse me. Is this not a month to month Service Plan? They turned my account over to the collection agency, it took months to get straightened out. The customer service is fine as long as you are not questioning why a$60.00 per month plan has actually charged my card $140.00? 3 This Company has zero integrity

Worst customer service
February 18, 2016

Never had any worst experience than i had today to talk with customer service of T Mobile
Just for a small information about my plan i have to wait for 1 hour 22 minute and they keep transferring me from one to another department and finally i have to disconnect line without
Resolve my problem their system is very slow can not pull even account information seven time i have to repeat all my information i think if t mobile work with this kind of staff soon either
They have to close or merge with any Good company. I m really disappoint
Having issue with service and billing without asking me they change my plan and keep adding new numbers just to collect extra money.

T-mobile hotspot
February 13, 2016

Annoying service. I bought a hotspot because my free access(my neighbor) is gone. 1st you have to make a phone call for just about everything-- their site always has a "glitch". I wanted to simply set up some kind of monthly plan, but when I called it had to be done thru some kind of third party call who then processed the pymt. I was very uncomfortable with that, seem outdated to me. I started buying the prepaid card and the site still gets those annoying "glitches". Takes 3 or 4 attempts to get the payment activated. Still looking for a consistent internet option (and no tech having to come inside my home) like I had back in the day with zoomtown.

DO NOT MAKE THE SWITCH
December 13, 2015

I left Sprint to go to T-Mobile and chose them for the early termination fee reimbursement. I was told in the store by the manager that T-Mobile would reimburse up to $350 for the line termination and up to $650 for breaking the lease of the phone. After I made the switch, I had to pay a total of $440 ($200 for the line and $240 for the phone) to Sprint, I them submitted my reimbursement information to T-Mobile. It was denied twice. After speaking to someone in the ETF department, I was told that I would not get the reimbursement for the phone, but I would for the line. This alone was very upsetting, after talking more with the ETF department, I was given a $100 dollar credit on my bill. I just checked the status of my reimbursement and it is only for $140! This means that I paid $440 to leave Sprint and am only getting $240 for my "reimbursement". Needless to say, once I receive my reimbursement and use the remainder of my credit, I will be leaving T-Mobile. I should also mention that the coverage is awful.

I'm impressed
October 28, 2015

I switched from AT&T to T-Mobile last spring. Though in the US (California) I seemed to drop calls more frequently, I recently traveled around Europe for three weeks and was blown away by the incredible and free coverage. I got text and data totally free with calls for just 20 cents a minute.

My phone was the only one that was reliable among me and my friends - for mapping, texting and data. Well done, T-Mobile! My trip would have been very different without their service. I'd recommend T-Mobile to everyone. In addition, their customer service is excellent.

I wish I could give less than one star for this company. T-mobile is the worst experience I had, they charged me for no reason more than they should, they never said that I will be charged extra for any changes I made, they just charge as much as they want. Just received the bill of $ 255, for a single line, I called then and they said I made international calls. It's unbelievable, bad costumer service, no respect, no responsibility! I had a lot of issues with T-mobile for being charged more, for no reason. I am changing this phone company and I don't wanna hear about it never ever again!

I like the fact that they make getting new phones easy and all their ideas are great. With that being said there coverage at least for me makes those ideas very hard to take advantage of such as free music on some steaming services without data. You still have to have a connection. Speaking of connection it is nonexistant most of the time or it is too slow to even bother with, most times if rather pull into a fast food place and use their WiFi instead of looking something up right where I am. I went to att and came back for reasons unknown at this point. Coverage sucks in my area I often drop calls when driving on the high way and you can forget about making a call or sending a text on a building with more than four floors. They have WiFi calling but it doesn't even work 99% of the time. But I mean not including data I have a cheap bill. You what you pay for I guess.

Crap service
September 1, 2015

I understand that they pull you in with the no contract and add family to your plan so you each get 10GB of data each for cheap. How ever I currently have had their service for almost a year now and half the time I don't get service. I'm not talking bad connection, I mean full on it says where the bars belong "No Service". It's one thing if it's in places a rarely go but I get "No Service" close to my house and in areas I work. I'm so severely disappointed in this company that I'm leaving. I've had my phone say no service in times that I really needed it like the other day when I got a flat but couldn't call for help. I don't understand also how roads I usually got service on all of a sudden I get no service on them. I mind as well sing to myself the whole car ride because nothing is loading off my phone and radio is bs.

I recently wrote a negative review on the inconsistent, ill-trained customer service I experience at Walmart. In contrast, T-mobile has well trained, very polite, very concerned customer service. When you call, instead of keeping you on hold, they tell you the wait time and will call you back. They are very respectful, If they are talking and you begin talking, they immediately stop and listen to you. I purchased a T-mobile hot spot and with customer's service help, had it up and running in a few hours. Had to call back a few days later because of a web page blockage and experienced the same courteous, professional respectful responses. Walmart needs to take note and hire the people who trained T-mobiles customer service department.

Customer service
July 24, 2015

Customer service Over the phone is very horrible I ask if I can get a new phone and Rep said I was due for an upgrade.( Even though I still have a balance that I need to pay for my old phone 5S) And the rep over the phone told me I don't have to pay, I don't have to put a down payment or anything, so I got a new phone and NOW they tell me that I have to pay for the old phone. This is very horrible they just like to sell. I told my customers that I like T-Mobile now I'm going to tell them the truth about t mobile. They are liars! Now I'm stuck with extra charges on my bill that I have to pay and there's nothing they can do to help me out even if it was their mistake. Thanks a lot Brenda/supervisor. T-Mobile sucks specially their customer service. So be very careful when you dealing with t-mobile because they are liars!
