T-Mobile's reputation is marred by significant customer dissatisfaction, primarily stemming from perceived deceptive practices regarding promotions and service quality. Many customers report issues with billing, unresponsive customer service, and difficulties in resolving problems, leading to frustration and a sense of betrayal. While some reviews acknowledge initial satisfaction with service and product offerings, the overwhelming sentiment reveals a trend of distrust and disappointment, particularly concerning support after the sale. This feedback suggests a pressing need for T-Mobile to enhance its customer service approach and better honor promotional commitments to rebuild trust and retain customers.

I live in Easy Bay and Work in San Francisco, 99% of the time Internet is very slow slow (less than 1 mbps both upload and download). At 70% of the places (In Bay area Silicon valley, San Francisco Are) you won't even have the internet connection. I switched to tmobile for a 4 for $120 plan. And I ended up paying more than $220 (basic charges) month for four months. After paying those bills for 4 months, now I am getting out of it. Call quality is average. Their international plans will cost your paychecks (When you are calling to the countries that are in their list). Over all it is a ripoff, you will end up paying the most for the poor quality of service and customer support.
T mobile is the worst cell comp there is they hire rag heads to take there calls you cant understand them i call t mobile give them my credit card number they told me it would be sent over night when the woman told me to call back the next day to get all the info on what time it would be sent when i called they told me a whole different story and different person oh im sorry they put you on the 3-5 day delivery so i get the phone Wednesday called in to get it activated i got a rag head did not unter stand a word she said ask to talk to some one in the us she put me over to some one in the same office i no because i ask do yo no her and she said yes she set across from me and she would not let me talk to some one in the us eather you see i found out it cost them money if they transfer you out so against my better judgment i let her help she sent a charge to my phone that killed my sim card after 3 and a half hours and after she fixed my phone useless she let me talk to a different dept in lol the us she was sorry with all that happen she will send a new sim card but it would cost me 20 dollars i had just got it a few hours be for and they want to charge me 20 dollars when there rag head killed it now i will have to send it back and they told me it will be 30 to 60 days before i get my 200.oo dollars back will i don t no what good it done i turned them in to better business bureau and the federal trade commission so for all the ones that thought you got me think again dont get in the same stuff i got in stay away from t mobile
~im not really into the T-mobile service, as I live in the country they do not do business in. But the roaming with them was a good experience for me. Thanks for reading!
I traded in my old IPhone 5s for a new IPhone 7 during the Black Friday promotion which was supposed to give me a $300 credit on my account as long as the phone remained on a TMobile plan. I confirmed that my TMobile plan qualified for this promotion with both the local store and TMobile customer service over the phone and the credit initially showed up online on my account. After two weeks passed, which conveniently just exceeded the return period for the phone, TMobile sent me an email saying that I didn't qualify for the promotion and that they would be charging me an additional monthly fee. I called them and they told me that they sent me the email because the store we bought the phone from just had not submitted all the info to TMobile and to wait a few weeks for the promotion to be applied. I just got my new bill and the additional charges are on it so I called TMobile. They are now saying that my plan doesn't qualify for the promotion and its too late to get back my old phone or return my new one. I could've paid less for the new phone from other outlets and more importantly, they took my old phone and didn't give me anything in return for it. My old IPhone 5s had a value of approximately $175 when they took it. So they basically stole $175 from me. I want TMobile to honor the agreement they advertised or at the least I want my old phone back and I want to return the phone I just bought from TMobile.
T mobile sucks I been with them for five years and I still don't have good services
My cell phone was stolen on New Years Eve. I reported this to T mobile gave them all my contact info. I never received one phone call nor one email from them. I called every day for an update on my claim. It's now 3 days later I called for an updated status they tell me my claim was denied. They don't replace lost or stolen phones under their contract! Bye bye you crappy company! They don't deserve any stars
I had a iPhone 6S plus and I traded it for a iPhone 7 and I bought a iPhone 7 plus too. But about a month ago, I happened to realize that my account has been credited with the charges for the phone that I traded too. So it all summed up for three phones. So, I complained this to (T mobile) 3000 N Rock Rd, Wichita, KS ******* recently, they got my number a few weeks ago and told me that they would call tomorrow but no action was taken... I'm in a T mobile family package of 5 people and even they all got confused with the extra charges that was in the account and I had to pay in-vain money on a phone that I even don't have any longer. I'm really disappointed at your irresponsible service.
I am now planing to take an action legally.
T-Mobile advertised cheap prices so I thought I'll give them a try, I spoke to different Representatives and both of them told me that there will be no charge if I disconnect service within the first 30 days if I don't like it, I started a plan with them but reception sucked anywhere I went so I called them up and they reassured again that there is no fees and I can stop the plan immediately which I did.
Now around a year later I started getting phone calls from collection agencies that I own $124 to T-Mobile, no one is able to explain what this money was for, I told there is no way I'm paying something that I don't owe, now they reported me to the credit bureau, and my credit is dropping...
I hope that anyone who reads this review will stay away from T-Mobile, otherwise you're more than likely be screwd by them as well...
Anywhere I look I only see bad reviews on them, why are they still operating? Go figure...
They're a bunch of thieves. Half of the operators can't understand anything for whatever reason. I've been hung up on 3 times and then they proceeded to tell me it was by accident. They charged my card while I had no money in there and put an overdraft fee on it and when I called for a refund they said it was non refundable. Mind you my phone has been broken for 3 months so I haven't used it and they can see that there hasn't been any use. T mobile is not a company to stay with. I'd honestly switch to any other company.
Most people might have smart phones, but there are still countless who want just a flip phone. The T-Mobile website no longer has flip phones, and the cheapest smart phone is over $100. (The phone has many terrible review, too.) Not everyone wants to do all sorts of things with their phone. Some people still just want to talk or possibly text. T-Mobile should stop ignoring those buyers. They should also get different music when they place people on hold for customer service. The music they play just verifies their main interest is young buyers, not older ones. Not everyone is either young or wants to go to Walmart and get on a family plan. Not everyone wants to go visit a T-Mobile store either. The website should have the widest range of phones, not the stores.
The biggest bunch of crooks going. Seriously. Just to get my phone unlocked took 30 customer service members. To get a complaint about that finally taken seriously took a further 15 reps. The lies I have been told is quite outstanding and they appear to work on the premise that eventually you will give up. You cannot speak to the same person twice; the next along the line knows nothing about what the previous person has said or done. You are worn down by forever repeating yourself. I didn't know whether to laugh or cry. I have never known a company like it.
'Unlimited' isn't. They tamper with accounts. Yuck. Bunch of thieves. Avoid, avoid, avoid.
I am T-Mobile customer since almost 2 years. I have 5 lines with premium handsets. For some reason they miss linked phones between lines on their end which was never reflected on bills. When I tried to claim insurance for a lost phone they denied it stating the phone was not covered under insurance which is absolutely false. I paid insurance for this lost phone and I have all the bills confirming the same still they wont buy in. INSANE AND NO ETHICS and clearly shows how they are stealing from customers. I am planning to file a legal complaint and take it with my attorney.
T-Mobile, what are you doing to actually providing services? I believe most cell/ISP services use these things called towers, you may want to check into that. I'm going to start a company based on my T-Mobile service: lying to anyone that will listen to me, and convince people to give me money every month for phone, internet, and unicorns, then all I have to do is sit around all day and send them messages saying mobile network not available, messages not sent, and currently can not download. That sounds great, except sending all those messages. I will be working harder for my customers than T-Mobile does. I looked up customer service to send a message online because I cannot call due to the fact that I have a T-Mobile phone and of course no service,( BTW I'm obviously on my Wi-Fi) they had several ways to make payments, 1 way to live chat, but no email, anyway, I thought it was funny that there was a part that said not to send payments by mail, and I thought to myself that should be the least of their worries, I for one will not be making a payment to them ever again...
These customer service who answeing the phone are a bunch of untrain monkeys
They see, but they can't answer a question,,
Monkeys see, Monkeys don't see, idiots
T-mobile is almost only one who can give you great speed and fair price in my country. I have tried few operators but non is like T-mobile.
If i could give them a 0 I would. Bought a mobile broadband for 29.00 on top of that paid 35.00 for activation with tax everything equalled 70 something. Got it activated was supposed to be 4g network the device was only getting 2g and Internet was terrible. Called tmobile spoke to three or four different managers and around 13 different customer service agents. After four hours of speaking to everyone was repeatedly told I would not be refunded even though they have a 21 day satisfaction garuntee. Was even told by one agent I would recieve the refund and then end up receiving a free hotspot device for my troubles I guess that agent was on crack because I was then transfered to a billing and refund specialist who said sorry the agent that told you that gave you a misunderstand and wrong answer. Tmobile is the absolute worst service ever paid 70 something dollars for no service just a device to through in the closet. I hope everyone takes into consideration to not use this service and go for any other service but them. Tmobile sucks!
I'm struggle just to get enough money for rent and get paid bu weekly I called Tmobile and said can I pay the 17th the say the latest I can pay is the 7th. I absolutely can not pay it. They don't care and nothing can be done I don't understand it I'm going to have to go ten days with out w phone how will I get a hold of my kids and I use my phone for work. They don't work with people and all my calls drop. It's rediculous
SO I send my note 5 in due to hardware issues after only having the phone a couple of months, phone has had protective screen AND phone case protecting it since day 1!
I send it in and a few weeks later and notice a $400 charge on my profile! So I call and they tell me there was a little crack on the back of the phone! 1.) There was NOT any crack on the phone and 2.) $400 for a crack?!?!
I called irate and, kindly they credit me $100. So that leaves $300 for me to pay, for a crack that I did NOT put on the phone... $300 to a phone I no longer have and will never have again. I, like a million others cannot afford to pay $300 for nothing, and that's how I see it, NOTHING. I am not getting anything out of this!
I call to see if they can work with me a little more, as much as it pains me, i'd pay half and they pay half since "it's word of mouth, we don't know how the crack really got there" meaning it could have been during the transition to the warehouse, or hell, a worker could have dropped it taking it out of the box, I don't know! BUT no, they can't do anything more and now i'm stuck with this high $#*! bill or leaving Tmobile and having this affect my credit!
I'm torn as to what to do! They've mentioned "you can set up payment plans" well, that's great, still doesn't make me feel any better about using $300 of my hard earned money towards crap of theirs that didn't work in the first place!
I have been a customer since 2007 and left for a few months in 2014 (to go on a friends line) then came back, but I will be leaving again once all this crap is done with.
T-MOBILE is one great company - they have the best phone deals they have the best customer support whether in the store or calling - you can set up a payment plan with them and their phones are priced low to high with great support. Having trouble with your phone take it in and they will refresh the phone I had trouble with a note of mine and received a new phone the next day. I have been with them for a few years now and highly recommend the company a class act!
A T-Mobile sales person offered $200 per line if I switched from ATT to T-Mobile. I switched 3 phones for my family. When the $600 did not come, I called T-Mobile 3 times. Twice they said it would come after my 3rd bill, the third time they said the offer did not apply to switching from ATT, only other cell phone companies. They would not stand behind the offer made by sales
Answer: Take the cheapest, clunkiest, most useless data coverage you can imagine. Now imagine it not even working. You pay for something that is USELESS.
Answer: This is typical of t-mobile. It will not let me leave a review.
Answer: T-Mobile will let you keep your old number... IF IT IS AVAILABLE. I do not know the requirements or rules, but years ago, I was allowed to keep a number I had had for years past.
Answer: See, your other customers see the same thing. In plain words, you suck ass.
Answer: Better Business Bureau is the only way to force an american to talk to you
