We tried twice to get cigars delivered to California and both times it was confiscated by customs in New York. The company was great at returning my money but I am feeling that with the new "political" atmosphere here in the US, getting cigars from Cuba is going to be very hard.

I ordered a big order with 4 full boxes of cigars. The cost of transport was 30$, which I understand. First they delivered with correos, meaning that I had to take a morning off work to pick it up, but to my surprise only half the order was there, the rest was coming separately (at least that's what they said). Weeks after I received a message saying that the parcel was being returned to the vendor as I hadn't picked it up (no one ever informed me that the product was here, no notifications, no calls, nothing!), anyway I agreed to pay again the 30$ to have it reshipped and they tried to bargain so this time I would have to pay 30 for every single box, not the single parcel where it's shipped together. Even though, I was ready to swallow it but they said they couldn't confirm the courier will inform me this time, so there's no guarantee of delivery. I suggested using a different courier at an extra cost and they refused, the whole thing smells like they want me to pay extra until I give up. So I did give up, found a new vendor, and these thieves kept the cigars which I fully paid for, I am thinking of a perfect place where they can shove these in...
Most of the cigars are new world, coming from America, sold by a supposedly swiss company, shipped from Hungary and invoiced by a company in Canary Islands, better not think about the legality of it all.
