This was my second purchase here. Both experiences were incredibly positive. The site is very easy to use, it does one thing and it does it better than anywhere else. I realize I may have just gotten lucky with the sellers I chose, but there's enough guarantees that I felt safe ordering. I highly recommend you check them first.
I usually don't like taking the time to write reviews but this was the first online buy for me that could have been risky. I've never used Swappa before and buying a $290 phone scared me with the amount of scam you find on the internet. I reviewed the site and decided on taking the possible risk. Everything went smoothly and I got my phone on time and in perfect condition. It activated, works fine, and looks amazing. I have absolutely no complaints.
I looked at Swappa and picked out a phone and purchased it. Great! I thought. I paid for the phone via Paypal and a few minutes later was informed that the phone had already been sold.
They said a refund would be issued which it was. The problem is the money comes immediately out of my checking account but a refund takes almost a week to be refunded first to Paypal and then back to my bank. That was phone #1
My daughter was frantic for a phone. I saw within 30 minutes that the refund was being processed so we found another phone. Out comes another wad of money from my bank. The phone arrives but will not activate. I spend half a day back and forth with Swappa and the original owner insisting everything is perfect. Swappa is chastising me for telling Paypal there is a problem. My phone company graciously takes the time to call Sprint only to find that they guy had not paid the Early Termination fees. So the phone is basically worthless to me. Now I am having to fight with them again to get my money back... After days of problems I will have to wait another week to get my money back and into my bank... My opinion is to avoid Swappa at all costs.!

I got exactly what I ordered in a timely manner. The posted photos were an accurate representation of the product, and the product was as described by the seller. The item was shipped the day after I verified my address. The item then arrived just two days later. Overall a very positive experience. I'd say an even better experience than eBay!
If you are looking for a great deal look no further. Swappa is the best place to purchase a used and like new phone. Save yourself a few bucks and come here first. Fees are reasonable and most sellers are easy to deal with.

I have made several purchases on swappa and a knowledgeable friend inspects the devices for me. As the primary user of the devices i buy i want them to be in good condition. Swappa has a very nice way of screening the used Items. I feel that the sellers work to comply with the system, and feel like part of a comunity in the used device world. I appreciate the attention the site monitors give and the security of knowing that they will help if there is a problem... although to date I have had none. I hope swappa continues to keep a high standard as there is mare of a market for used devices now than before. I was finally looking for a new phone, and decided that I could get the best price online. Instead of going straight to ebay I did some research on where I could buy new/used phones and one of the top hits was Swappa. I looked at reviews for the website and then I searched on what I could find. I found the phone that I was looking for and when I compared it price wise to ebay and other online stores swappa was a much better deal. I was very amazed on how detailed and professional the listings are on swappa and the communication between seller and buyer is great. Swappa even offers things like a checklist to make sure you get what was advertised and an ESN checker to see if the phone you have getting isn't blacklisted. Swappa makes sure you get the best phone at the best price, thank you.
There was a vast selection of phones. We selected one, and in no time the seller motified us that the phone had shipped. We recived it two days later, and it appeared exactly how it did in the seller's photos, and was working great. We also used paypal to pay.
As with the other 30+ transactions on Swappa, it's one of my favorite sites to do business with mobile devices.
Swappa is severely lacking the ease of use that could be brought forward with native apps. I am not sure why this isn't done already... you are wildly successful and could become more well known by having an app in the App Store and the Play Store.
Easy, safe and perfect. Peace of mind with clean ESN. Everything as advertised and less expensive than eBay, less risk than Craigslist. Normally, eBay is my go to site, but even with top notch feedback from the seller, I still ended up with a blacklisted phone. Swappa is my go to site now for phones.
