Extremely overpromised and under delivered. Waste of time and money. Everyone I got in contact with was making beyond ridiculous offer or could not get approved by MBFS. They said all these buyers are pre approved. Don't waste your time or money with these people. All of the members contacted were pure roaches. Not educated about the value of the vehicle or lease payment for that matter. Example is, some of them would offer $500 per month on $******* car, which doesn't exist anywhere. I will never try to use this service again. Failing concept for sure.
First time using swapalease.com. Ron walked me through the process and he always responded to my telephone calls or emails very quickly. He guided me on writing description which ensured my vehicle was in thousands of searches. A lease assumption happened within weeks of advertisement. Thanks so much Ron. If you need Ron's services contact him at *******669 ext. 2042.
I got out of a GMC lease with Swapalease. My only concern was it took a couple weeks to process the transfer. I also purchased a Posrche Macan from a guy trying to get out of his lease. Happy so far...
Thank you for sharing! Some leasing companies take longer than others to process the paperwork! We apprecaite you staying with it and using our services!
They lie they don't find a person to buy lease. Scam to get fee money and website view. Don't fall for there some. Good communication but don't follow up on there word.
We are an advertising marketplace for leases, specificly lease for asumption or transfer, not vehicles for sale. To say that we lie and we will find someone to buy your lease would be libel. Just like taking an ad out in the newspaper or any other ad, there is never a gaurentee of a sale. Anyone who would do that would be illigitiate as we have never promised a sale from advertising a vehicle for transfer. In a free market, we cannot make a buyer want a vehicle but we have the largest audience and traffic flow of any leasing website in the world. If you can please contact me directly so that I can find you in our system, look at your listing to see what I can do to help. I would like to make things right for you.
They just deactivated my account for not update or simply tried to log in after couple of weeks after I paid 299 for my membership this people are truly thieves! Do not proceed with these scam like website. You rather ad your vehicle on your own way cheaper and safer
This is not an issue and happens all the time. Either the sellers do not log in to their account after 30 days, or there is a time restriction from the leasing company. We can easily reactivate your listing if you can contact me at [email protected] so that I can find you in the system and I am happy to take care of you.
I paid Swapalease $200.00 for them to list my vehicle. At the sametime listed it on MARKETPLACE/FACEBOOK. In 3 months have only had (one) views! With Swapalease. With other websites & my flyers hanging up ALL OVER TOWN I have gotten 618 views! I know how this works, NOW! Customers go to the website, see your car BUT SEE OTHERS CARS TOO! Basically(( YOUR)) paying SWAPALEASE $200, to advertise ALL their vehicles, your is just one of the MANY other competitive cars viewers will see, get it! So if you need your car swaped SOON, you have plenty of months or years to get SWAPALEASE views. I am complaing NOW to them. I will return with show HOW they fix this. And HOW they treat me. I didn't sign on for this!
We sent you a private message shortly after you left your review. Please contact us directly so that we can find you in our system and take a look at your listing to see what we can do to help out. Please give us a chance to make things right.
Y'all must be smoking that good crack if you think Im gonna spend $50 to look at and get in touch with fraudulent ads and scammy dealers... great concept though, horrendous execution!
It does not cost $50 to search on our website and we do not post fraudulent ads. The dealers that are listed have their contact information public. Our private sellers that have leases for transfer allow their contact information to not display publicly. We charge a one-time fee for a lifetime membership. The member is $60 with discounts over the phone. It is not a subscription, we offer support and information about how the transfers are complete through each leasing company.
Listed vehicle with them and was utterly dissapointed. After 11 months of listing not a single contact/inquiry (and they take your listing down every month or so due to "inactivity"). The vehicle was a 2016 Hundai Tuscon and was in very good condition etc. so it wasnt the car. The salesman wayyy over promised at the amount of activity and I would never use the site again. I highly doubt they have as many buyers as they claim and likely just push people to list their car so they can take the seller listing fee. DO NOT USE!
If you think you are simply taking over a lease (the value the original leasee was paying) guess again. Think about it - they'll have to make money, right? You'll get charged with a ton of fee that you didn't expect... LOL
Swapalease charges a one-time for the sellers, listing their lease until sold. Buyers pay a one-time fee for a lifetime membership. The lease transfer fee and any applicable taxes or registration fees is done through your local DMV and is handled by the individuals leasing company. We have no hidden or extra fees.
But it really isn't.
You will be pressured by seller wanting yu to pay there fees, incentives and so on, so the fee they charge is only a fraction of your real cost.
I got offers asking for $5000 cash up front from a potential buer on a regular BMS SUV to get started
Stay away from this scam website. They list fake vehicles that don't exist just to get potential customers to register as buyers and pay the buyer's fee. I called the swapalease.com customer service number before registering and paying the fee to confirm a vehicle listed on their site was still available. The representative stated she called the seller and confirmed the vehicle was still available, and if I signed up right now, she could register me as a buyer for $40. I agreed and moved forward. After the registration was complete, within 2 hours, I called the seller to find out that allegedly, "someone else had already submitted an application for the vehicle." Additionally, the vehicle was not listed as "Pending" on the swapalease.com website as it should have been if they truly had an application pending. When I contacted the same representative to let her know the vehicle was not available, she attempted to steer me to 2 other vehicles that were $200 to $400 more expensive per month than the one I was interested in and refused to give me a refund.
In 2004 I took over a lease on a Jaguar, since then, 4 BMWs, 2 Mercedes, a Land Rover and a Corvette (for someone else). Currently searching for the next lease. I've also found someone to take over a lease on a Porsche. The site is fantastic for those of us who get bored with cars and are not too particular about color or getting something specific. Most of the time, you can get a great deal because someone else put down $2,000-$4,000 to drive off the lot. Start in advance as the process takes time and finding the right opportunity is not quick. Before agreeing to the lease, I highly recommend you do a 3 way call with the leasing company. I've had several sellers who insisted they knew the terms of the lease only to find out that they were wrong. Also, make sure you understand the tax situation fully.
Told me my car would sell in 45 days. Six months later only on interested buyer how was not so interested. Then listed the vehicle as sold when it wasn't. A real ripoff. Tried to call an Kaz who I have been working with didn't want to answer any question. Stay away that's my opinion

We are happy to do a few things to help out. You've had over 2,600 direct views on your listing and 12 registered buyer that have showed interested in your vehicle. We do prequalify our buyers that we talk to before they register but we do not pre-approve buyers. It wouldn't make a difference for our seller because the approval is up to the respective leasing company and is done case-by-case. We will contact you to go over a few options, we'd like to make things right and help find you a qualified buyer!
