Nick Wilmers at Swapalease was awesome, made the process super easy to list my car and we had a buyer in less than 2 weeks. Highly recommended!
Wow, sign up to contact a seller for additional information (not canned questions) and behold... you have to purchase a premium membership. Unfortunate for sellers and buyers of a lease transfer! Wish I checked this site first...
I hadn't even heard of Swapalease until Ford Motor Credit recommended looking into it when I needed to get rid of the car I was leasing since I was moving to the city. I called them and Marc Baker walked me through the entire process and even set up my entire profile for me. How easy it is to get rid of your car totally depends on where you're living based on my experience. I wasn't able to transfer my lease until after I moved from Utah to Boston, but once I was in Boston I had people asking me for details every day. Would highly recommend to anyone who is looking to get out of a lease or get into one. Will likely use in the future if I need to lease a car again!
I posted my request for a lease assumption on multiple sites and ended up transferring the lease using swapalease. They were the only site where all interested parties were potential buyers and not scammers. Would skip the other sites if I went through the process again. Also, hats off to Nick Wilmers who did all the work of posting for me and had the listing up within minutes of a few minute phone call—thanks Nick!
Do NOT try to swap your lease there! There are so many other ways to do it! Please read and trust the reviews! I made a huge mistake when I thought to give it a shot! LIARS AND SCAMMERS!
Mayada, we have tens of thousands of people exit their lease early since our inception in 1999. There are always other ways to get out of your lease early but we think that our marketplace is the best. Please contact me directly at [email protected] so that I can find you in our system, learn what caused you to have a bad experience and then I will see what I can do to hopefully make the experience better.
I found a vehicle that I wanted to purchase on my very first visit to swapalease.com. It took almost a week for someone to reach out to me so that I could pay the one time fee. I had several questions about finance rates and Swapalease's role in registering the vehicle. I sent emais, made phone calls to customer service and left vmails. To date (7-8 weeks later), no one has returned any of my correspondence. Because of my frustration, I ended up losing out on what I believe was a fantastic vehicle and the owner is still trying to sell.
I decided to get rid of my car and needed to have someone take over the lease. I contacted Swapalease and spoke to Marc Baker. He immediately and patiently guided me with the process, helped me write the car description/profile, post the pictures, and was always there if I had any questions or concerns. Within a relatively short period of time advertising the car, the lease was assumed without any hiccups. I would highly recommend Swapalease to get rid of your car or maybe to find a good deal.
I was extremely fortunate to have worked with Lisa at Swapalease. She was extremely friendly and knowledgeable about GM Financial and GM leases. This is the first time I've ever used Swapalease or 'swapped' my lease out. She took the time to walk me through each step of the process. She was quick to respond to my emails and I had a buyer call me within 5 minutes of her posting my vehicle on their site. I highly recommend utilizing Swapalease and working with Lisa if you are considering using their site. Thanks again Lisa! :)
I am having the worst experience with Swapalease! THey make you pay upfront for the services that they apparently provide and the fee is around 300 bucks(non refundable). Once you pay the fee the actualities come out! They literally tell you to keep logging into your account at least once a month else the account is suspended! There is no follow-up whatsoever, even if you manage to find an interested party in the car they do very little to show any enthusiasm for the swap. Its all up to you as the seller to make the efforts in reaching out to the buyer and persuading him to proceed with application etc. Makes me wonder why did i pay a fee of 300$ if its me doing everything?
We charge all sellers a one-time fee upfront and list the vehicle on our website until sold. We have our sellers log in to their account at least once every 30 days so that we can keep the listings current for our buyers searching for vehicles. If you find an interested party, we have a lease transfer department dedicated to helping both parties through the steps of the transfer process. They can be reached at [email protected] or simply calling us and asking for customer support. M-F 8-8 PM ET. Sat. 18-4 PM ET. At 866-792-7669. The lease transfer is a DIY process with both the buyer and seller transferring through the seller's leasing company. Our fees may seem nominal if you compare them to the savings of payments and operating costs if you got out early. Please direct message me here or email me at [email protected] so that I can find you in our system. I will look at your listing and offer any suggestions that might help and I am happy to provide a few extra services to get you more exposure.
Very responsive and professional. My rep Michael O. Was top notch! A+. The turnaround was quick and I got the ride I was looking for at a good price
I was fortunate to be assisted by Lisa (ext. 2001) today and was very impressed with her willingness to assist me and answer any question I had regarding my lease transfer. She was very professional and genuinely cared to help me. She had a friendly tone and great positive attitude throughout our conversation over the phone. I am very grateful to have been assisted by such a kind individual. I will definitely recommend SwapaLease to my friends and family because of people like her.
Our account manager Nick was great, very professional. He explained all the options and how the process would, setting expectations and timeframes. It was less than 2 days before we would make contact with the ultimate buyer.
Highly recommend the service.
I highly recommend SwapaLease for lease assumptions. My sales rep was Lisa Feldmann and she was truly amazing. This was my second time using there services and my second time working with Lisa. She is very professional, patient, informed and was extremely helpful during the entire process.
Thanks,
Chris S.
I worked with Lisa to get my car listed on Swapalease. Lisa was great and helped set me up right away. She explained the process and made the entire process seamless. Within the day, my car had been listed along with my photos. Without Swapalease and Lisa, I would not have been able to get rid of my car as quickly as I did. Lisa was a pleasure to work with!
Swapalease did a great job assisting me finding someone to assume my lease. Work with Nic W. He was very helpful and made this transition very easy. Hand held me through the whole process! I would highly recommend the Premium Service!
My agent Amy Turner was great at the start but after a couple months she's pretty much stopped replying to my e-mails or updating my lease price based on the buyout price which changes every month. They tell you to e-mail them your buyout every month so they can update the price online and keep things current. It would be great if this company honored the package you paid for and does even the bare minimum to keep you as a customer.
Once they receive your money you're pretty much dropped on your own. I've had to call in multiple times to get my price updated and they can't even get their sh*t together on the phone. Half of them know the price has tax, the other half don't so if you're not paying attention your monthly advertised priced could even go up due to this mistake. Which is exactly what happened to me for a month or two I was listed $80 or so per month higher than what it should be.
Jared, thank you for sharing this with us. We cannot improve our services without important feedback like this. Please contact me directly here or email [email protected] so that I can find you in our system. I will do everything I can to help you and attempt to make things right.
Thanks to Lisa F. At Swapalease I was able to get a qualified person to take over the lease. I offered an incentive to move the process faster. Lisa gave me good advice on using an incentive and the lease exchange process. I am now able to move forward on a different vehicle. Lisa was awesome to deal with a we found a qualified lessee to take over my remaining lease. I highly recommend their services!
I gave swapalease a 5 Star Rating because of their performance. My personal manager was Lisa, Ext. 2001. Sie is professional, acts quickly and has a good personality. She had my car on the website very quickly. I used their most expensive package because I needed quick results. And that I got. Following their advice I offered an incentive after 2 to 3 weeks. After that I had about 10 buyers. Lisa responded promptly to all my requests. I like that buyers have to register with swapalease. It felt safe because the buyer had to make a commitment. I would recommend swapalease to other people. Job well done!
I had an extremely seamless and positive experience in having our Tesla Model X lease assumed. Lisa Feldmann (Extension 2001) at Swapalease was extremely responsive, helpful, and she made this experience effortless. I highly recommend Swapalease and Lisa Feldmann! A+++ experience!
The Swapalease service was great, very professional, and I found just what I was looking for. The drawback was it took 2 months for the transaction between myself and the seller to finalize, but that fell on Toyota Financial and the Covid outbreak. I would not hesitate to do this again, knowing in adbance that the actual transfer will take up to 60 days or more.
