We put a 2018 Buick Casada on swaplease which had only 3000 miles and had not one inquiry. We found our own buyer, but when they added all their own costs and fees, it became too expensive for that purchase to buy out the lease. What a waste of time and money. Don't do it
Run away, they try yo sell the package but they do not tell you all history
The manager Vernon hide the information and try seel you any package, I believed him however hi DID NOT tell me that several banks DO NOT transfer leasing, I asked the manager Vernon to refund me because he didn't alert me about it but guess what? For sure he sad: I can't do it ou police bla bla bla
So new customer BE carefully check if your bank does the transfer because Swapalease doesn't care.
Claudio,
Please private message me here or contact me at [email protected]. If you are unable to transfer your lease due to temporary COVID policies you should be aware of that before choosing to list. Please contact me as I cannot find you in our system with the information provided here.
Customer service can be a personal attack and nasty. Some nasty customer service people. Wouldn't buy anything from them. Don't join!
We are sorry to hear about this and would appreciate another chance to help if you will give us one. Please contact me at [email protected] and I will take care of you. We strive to continually improve our service and all feedback is appreciated.
Only when threatened with court action did they decide it was in their best interests to refund us for services not received. Be careful if you advertise elsewhere as well as on their site as they seem to feel regardless where an enquiry came through for your car (ie someone found your advert on another website), that they are entitled to fees when sales haven't actually gone through them but other websites and just charge your card anyway because they can see you sold the car
This service was perfect for what I needed.
My account manager Lisa Feldman was wonderful. Ask for her at Extension 2001.
Well worth the limited cost for the service.
Would use again without hesitation.
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. She does do a great job. We have shared your feedback with the Swap Team and we hope that you will tell your friends about us!
Scam, waste of time. Not one response back after purchasing the membership, called to cancel said it was a lifetime membership.
Were you a buyer looking to take over a lease? That's the only thing that has a lifetime membership. Maybe I can help you out with a few things. Please contact me directly and I will make things right. People leave reviews here and do not message me so I cannot find them in the system and help them. [email protected]
Swapalease is exactly that. Sweet talk you in over the phone, tell you what you want to hear. Tell you they a there for you, and with sousing so confident they can "help" you. Well if you meant help me out of $1000 and countless hours of my time, well then SUCCESS. Heads up, Swapalease vets NOONE they give your personally information too. These individuals calling me do not even qualify for my lease, yet here I am on the phone all hours of the day answering their nonsense questions. Asking me if they can test drive my vehicle. Getting asked for more pictures. It's been 5 months. Not one qualified individual has contacted me. I have low payments, great miles. I'm simply leaving the country and have no use for it. I got sweet talked by Jessica R., my "account representative" that seems to never be at her desk, or at work according to her co-worker. Sent her the info, vin, miles, what's owed, etc, etc. I get told she would put the ad together, and send me a receipt that I need to sign and send back. But once I completed those, I never hear from her again. Customer service answers but then you get transferred right back around. I'm leaving the country in 23 days and it seems I'll have to eat what I owe on the vehicle and what I paid Swapalease for empty promises. No worries I saw the "NO REFUNDS" on the "contract" I signed.
Please reply here or email me at [email protected] I would like to help out but I have no way of finding you in our system.
Well, I do want to transfer my lease out in 1 ~ 2 months, so I contacted them. They give me the packages and estimate of how long it takes to find a buyer. I asked about the how much incentives I should give to make the deal happen in a reasonable time, they provided a number and I followed. They also suggest to pay more on "advertiser package" rather than incentives.
I followed every suggestion, and by now, I have no contacts at all. All my inquiries got no response. They just try to sell you the most expensive packages and it's over.
Henty, I am sorry to hear that your experience has not been great so far. Let's change that! Please DM me here or send me an email at [email protected] so that I can find you in the system. I would like to take a look at your listing to do everything we can plus extra for you to help out and make things right.
I have been working with SWAP-A-LEASE since 2003. Between myself, clients and friends I've done 13 deals and collected $27,000.00 in incentive money to take people out of their leases. I've gotten Mercedes, Cadillacs, BMW's and a Honda lease. I helped my friends dad get out of his lease 2 weeks before he passed away. As a Financial Money Manager to over 800 clients, I have recommended Swap-A-Lease many many times and wouldn't hesitate to do it again. It's a lot of work, but I've literally saved THOUSANDS of DOLLARS and think it's a great way to get short term leases with never putting a penny down. And most times the payment is less because someone else put the money down. I Love them and the concept.
You are the reason our marketplace is great! 17 out of our 20 years! Very impressive! Thanks for being a great swapper and sharing the savings "secret" with your clients and friends. Our goal is to make sure everyone looking to get out of their lease or looking for a car knows about us!
I've transferred out of two car leases now with SwapaLease, and I've had success both times, thanks to my sales representative Lisa Feldmann at ext. 2001. She is extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and responsive. What I will say is that the rates to advertise on their site are definitely very high, but it's one of your only options if you need to get out of a lease on a vehicle. It's important to understand that they are solely for advertising your car and connecting you to potential buyers; after that happens, you are on your own to work with your leasing company and the person taking over the lease. And yes, there are going to be fees through your leasing company as well, but SwapaLease does outline those costs on their site.
She does a great job! Thanks for sharing your experience here and for using our services!
What do they do after they charge you to list? NOTHING. If that's what you're into, look no further.
I would like to help you and get to the bottom of any issues that you are having. We have live customer support over the phone and email from Mon.-Fri. 9PM-8PM ET. And Sat. 10AM-4PM ET. Can you please private message me here so that I can find you in our system and I will do everything I can to help you out!
I wanted to sign up as a buyer. I talked to one of the buyer's specialists, Dwight Holley, before signing up. He was able to answer all my questions. Based on my great experience with him I proceeded and signed up. Thanks.
We've never done a lease transfer before. Lisa Feldman contacted me upon my inquiry and remained responsive and helpful throughout the process. She predicted how long it would take and she was right on the money at every step. Ultimately BMW slowed things down a bit - they have a much higher number of lease transfer requests than usual, most likely due to Covid. But it is done and we are completely satisfied with Swapalease.
This was my first experience listing a car on Swapalease.com. I did my research and felt it was worth a try. I worked with Lisa Extension 2001, and she explain everything from start to finish, gave me advice as to what to expect from buyers and the leasing Company, Toyota Financial.
Her knowledge was extremely valuable and accurate, she gave practical advice, very responsive and ethical. I would have no reservations in recommending this service, and working with Lisa.
She does do a great job! Thank you for sharing your experience here and for choosing our service.
I worked closely with Eric Smith from Swapalease and had my car sold in 24 hours. I couldn't be more satisfied with my services from swapalease. I highly recommend them.
I needed to get out of a 3 year lease on a 2020 Tesla Model 3 with only 939 miles on it. Got it for my wife who died 10 days before it was delivered. This was, of course, a real cream puff and would get a lot of attention, but I wanted to get back some of the $7,000 I had put down to get a low monthly payment. The low mileage and low payment made it attractive, so Lisa Feldmann suggested I ask for $3,000 as a down payment. She also suggest their lowest cost listing plan $299. They offer two higher priced plans for those who have no idea how to proceed and they hold their hands through the process. I was really surprised at how quickly (minutes) I had people looking and asking questions. I had something like 15 offers in a few days, and in the end I had three offers of full price. The deal was closed in less than 2 weeks. I'm very happy with Swapalease and Lisa Feldmann--ask for her.

There is a total lack of communication between Swap A Lease representatives and a seller. Left numerous messages with no response and asked a potential buyer to reach out directly to our contact there. And again... no response. They don't tell you about hidden costs from your Leaseholder, in our case there was a $500 transfer fee and $150 application fee for our buyer. That's $650 they never tell you about and they expect you to offer some type of incentive for your buyer on top of that! Stay away from Swap a Lease!
We are sorry to hear that you have not been happy with our service. Your account manager should have made it clear the transfer fee associated with your leasing company. We do our best to remain as transparent as possible in our marketplace. We have leasing company information posted on each listing and the fee is typically paid for by the new lessee or buyer. Please contact me directly so that I can find you in our system to help improve our services.
You can pretty much put your car online and get rid of it yourself and not get all the frustration from these people's horrible customer service
Phil, what was the frustration with our customer service? We would like to know so that we can better improve our services. We are sorry to hear that it has not been a great experience and we would like to try to make things right for you and make your experience better.
They allowed a person that wasn't me to obtain a car through their website and then bmw approved the loan. If it wasn't for me doing my homework, the buy would have received the 3k cash incentive and the bmw 3 series. When I asked swap a lease about this they tried playing it off. I should have filed a law suit! This happen back in 2018/2019! Just google shaun milleson identity theft
We certainly do not willingly allow fraud on our marketplace and we do everything in our power to help prevent such events. It is unfortunate to hear about this awful individual. We do not complete background or credit checks, that process is handled by the leasing companies. We are connecting buyers and sellers. We cannot find you in our system, please contact me directly so that we can try to make things right.
Answer: Hello Marisa, Yes, it is possible to have your leased car bought out either by a dealer or an individual. Please contact me directly at [email protected] for more information.
Answer: Please call our lease transfer teams for assistance at 866-792-7669. We recommend following the rules for transferring a car per your local DMV/BMV. State/County requirements may vary.
Answer: Don't give them a chance to show their contempt for the customer inquiries.
Answer: There is a one-time fee for both buyers and sellers. Buyers pay $60 online for lifetime access to our website. Sellers pay a range of $200-1000 depending on the package and range of exposure that the seller chooses. Our website is a DIY marketplace.
Answer: We can also be reached by email at [email protected] and on all of our social media networks.
Answer: Sorry that we are just getting to this question now. We are new to this website. We are a legitimate company founded in 1999, helping thousands of people each year get out of their lease early.
Swapalease.com is the number one car lease transfer marketplace. Get out of your auto lease early without penalties or take over an existing short term lease
