I purchased tickets via Student Universe. I received confirmation numbers for both Student Universe and the Airlines but for some reason the Airlines the tickets are with do not show I have tickets. The confirmation numbers I received from Student Universe are not in the airlines system.

I had to cancel two flights to the south of France and knew I would not receive a refund as I did not purchase travel insurance. I had pneumonia and Covid and was advised not to travel because I was contagious. The customer service person that answered the phone Was helpful and said in the circumstances, even without travel insurance, we reach out to the airlines just to say, could you make a one time refund and that it would take some time. That was great since I wasn't expecting a refund. However, student universe will not respond to any of my follow up emails as this happened back in August and when I call, they say they're still looking into it. They need to work on their Communication skills. I won't be booking through them anymore.

My flight was canceled just three hours before departure due to an error in their system that failed to process my payment—despite receiving full confirmation, including valid reference numbers. This was a clear failure on their part, yet I was left to deal with the consequences.
Upon arriving at the airport, I spent 45 minutes on hold trying to reach customer support. When I finally got through, the representative was unhelpful, unwilling to assist, and offered no resolution. Instead, they remained silent on the call, leaving me with no choice but to hang up in frustration.
This experience was completely unacceptable, and I cannot recommend their services. A company that operates with such poor systems and customer support fails to meet even the most basic standards of reliability and professionalism. I will not be using their services again.

I had to be patient but I got tickets! I am very excited for the opportunity to be able to go to NYC.
The website made it extremely difficult to verify my student status and I have still not been able to do it, as it keeps cycling me back to the search page instead of taking me to my university website. Because of this, I was not able to access the cheapest flight, so I booked the second cheapest one. However, I did still get a great discount!
