StudentUniverse gives more inexpensive flight options than other online services. The booking process is very easy and straight-forward.
It is asking for baggage information but quotation was including one checked bag and one carry on, website is not giving me any options but just a statement saying "Choose your bags when you check in with the airline" what is that? And how can I move forward to complete my trip? That is really confusing.
If I am buying a ticket, I expect that covers the price of the seat I will fly in. Duh. Why is there $30 to select the seat. I didn't even pick the "basic" fair...

The website and experience were adequate for the price point of the flights. My first frustration was that the multi city option does not allow you to book more than two flights at once. I was hoping to book a three leg trip in one go. The ability to see and sort flights and choose outbound and return flights separately is great. All the necessary information about layovers and baggage was easily accessible. As a side note, many offered flight combinations included extremely short layovers - some less than an hour for an international connection, which was not obvious unless you clicked for more details about the flight.
I attempted to book my flights less than 5 minutes after my initial query and was informed that the price had increased about $20. This was mildly frustrating but understandable. However, I was then informed that my booking had failed with no further explanation, and that the website was still "trying to book me onto the same or alternate flights." This was highly concerning as I did not wish to be booked onto alternate flights without approving them.
Ultimately, a representative called me and informed me the reason my booking failed was because of the price increase. This didn't make sense to me since I had already been advised of the change during the checkout process. The representative was able to manually book the flights for me - for a small additional fee. She was very nice and professional but the process was very drawn out with lots of redundant questions. Yes, I am aware the flight does not include a checked bag, for the fifth time. I also had an issue with the login process freezing up that made me ultimately have to refresh my search.
Overall I am happy I booked the flights I wanted for the price I did. I wish the checkout process had been smoother.
Not able to book 3 flights at once via multicity. Flight prices increase in less than 5 minutes from getting search results to proceeding to checkout. Login process froze up and made me refresh my search. Attempted to make reservation and told they were unable to book my flight(s?) and I hadn't been charged - very unclear
Nothing, don't plan to use your services again. Did not appreciate the cost for a 1 minute change when mistake was made. Second Customer Service person made me feel like child with her tone and speech, which was totally unnecessary.

There was an issue with my order the first time, and I called the customer service number and was able to receive speedy and friendly service. I rebooked my flight per instructions and didn't have any other issues.

Hi, sorry you felt that way. Different airlines have their own policies regarding seat selection and fees. Some may not allow free seat selection prior to check-in at the airport even when it's not a basic economy ticket. Thanks for your understanding.
