This place had the single worst customer service I have ever received. I simply wanted to change a flight and I had to spam call, wait on hold for hours on end, reach out to my school for a better student universe contact, overall just a nightmare for the last couple weeks. I emailed twice and never heard back. When I finally got ahold of someone she was super rude to begin with, then charged me 665 dollars to change my flight. An extra 140 dollars for the "student universe services", yeah amazing service. I'm a student i'm not going to go out of my way to write reviews. Just be warned when you book with student universe.

Booking this flight was not a problem.
But at first I was not able to confirm my student status by myself on the website. It was only possible after calling the hotline and waiting in line for 4h. Then, my other booking had a mistake because the Passenger information changed to a different name since I booked from a different account (I couldnt confirm mine). The waiting line on the phone takes long and sometimes people hang up on you. The company was not able to help with this wrong ticket, not even with a charge. Therefore, I lost the money for the other booking.

The process was easy to navigate. It did not take too long to book flight.

I was linked to StudentUniverse through Kayak, and I was able to find a flight at a great price. However, the look and feel of the website immediately made me suspicious of it; was I about to get scammed? Additionally, it felt very busy and a little difficult to navigate. A more streamlined feel would help. Lastly, while my confirmation email was immediate, it had no itinerary information on it. To get my itinerary, I had to click a link and log in to the website. This is super cumbersome. The itinerary hit my inbox the next day, but why have a delay? Send that itinerary with the confirmation like every other service!

Smooth booking. Everything was great while booking my reservation

I was required to purchase my airline ticket from this third party seller, and I thought I would be able to get a good price on my tickets because it is geared towards students. However, the prices were identical to the prices I found for a google flight search, which was really disappointing. The process for purchasing the ticket was smooth so far however. I guess we'll see if I have any problems at the airport. I was also disappointed that I couldn't buy my luggage fee now and I need to wait.
