I've heard and read a ton of horror stories about student universe which initially had me quite nervous, but my study abroad program offered me a flight voucher that could only be used through them so I had no choice. After booking my flight through studentuniverse, I received 2 confirmation emails but I didn't hear anything after that. The one thing I would suggest is making sure your ticket is validated with the airline via your respective airline website. For me, I flew united, so i was able to check through the website & app on my phone. Once you see "place confirmed" or something of the sort, you're officially in the clear. But overall, I had no problems. After your ticket is confirmed, everything else can be done via your airline (changing seats, requesting a meal, viewing capacity, paying for baggage/additional baggage & etc). Flights both to & from Paris went smoothly. Thanks studentuniverse and CEA-CAPA for providing that flight voucher. Saved nearly $1,000+ on a roundtrip non-stop flight ticket.
Very easy to get tickets and worked well. I was able to easily find a flight that worked for me.
Smooth experience. The flight tickets were quite cheap but the same price as on the airlines website. However, the insurance was quite cheap.
I had to make booking changes and I wasn't able to do it through the airline. The staff here was very helpful in making this stressful situation much easier and they were able to solve my problem.

Different airlines publish different types of fares; for instance, basic econ class does not allow change/cancellation. Other types may allow change/cancel for a fee.
