We purchased 4 tickets for the Raiders and Chargers a couple months back. My friend had an emergency knee surgery a week ago, so I contacted sofi stadium they said I have to contact ticket masters and purchase handicap seating through them, so I contact ticket masters, they said I have to contact stub hub to get them to swap the tickets for handicap ones and then they have to send them to ticketmasters so I can add them to my other 2 I have left. Call stub hub told flat out that stub hub does not exchange tickets, I could sell 2 of the 4 tickets and buy 2 handicap tickets but then the customer service expert at stub hub said " call the venue putting on the event to find out where the handicap seating is, and what seats are available. No that is what I call "all the way to your seat ", that's right they will bull sh*t you all the way to your seat. Typical 21st century customer service ------------none existent, keep passing on the customers to another affiliate, screw the customers.
I strongly advise against buying tickets from StubHub. I purchased Beyoncé tickets months in advance, thinking I was making a smart choice, but I ended up paying a substantial amount of money. As the concert date approached, I discovered that better seats were available for half the price I paid. I felt like I had been taken advantage of by the website, and to make matters worse, they don't allow you to cancel your order. Once you've placed an order, it's your problem to deal with. I will never use this website again, and I've learned my lesson. I won't recommend it to any of my friends either.
I bought tickets to eric clapton in denver for the 9/16/23 show. 3 hours before the doors open, i'm told that my tickets are frauds, i cannot be furnished with replacement tickets, and i'd be getting a refund in 10 days. Oh yeah, they gave me a $78 voucher! I forgot to mention that i'm a disabled veteran and had flown in to denver with two friends solely for this concert. I'm disgusted with the way they handled this transaction, it ruined the weekend, ruined the last opportunity that i'll have to see eric clapton, ruined my disposition, and cost me an additional $550 dollars to remedy, on my own. The only decent part of the story is the fella who works for stub hub and tried to help me over the phone. But even he was handcuffed to a ridiculous system that is lorded over by an 'algorithm' which apparently makes all decisions these days, as people with empathy and judgement have become obsolete. The problem is that even though i'm taking the time to write this, nothing will be done to satisfy the damage they did. I know it's just a concert, but it's the last concert of an 80 year old man i deeply admire, two friends who've moved away and the simple fate that allowed us all to fly to denver to see this show together. And they took all of that away from me/us. Hope you all enjoy your profits. I'll look for that refund in a month or so.
StubHub is running a major scam and I hope they are being investigated. They "guarantee" your ticket purchase to get you to buy, but then do NOT fulfill their promises.
They scammed me for almost $4000 don't use.
They are terrible, awful and liars.
They need to get law suit.
Paid $1161 for Mana tickets only to find out less than 24hrs before venue "the seller didn't have my tickets" I paid for 3 months ago. They offered me replacement tickets on the very top when I selected closer seats. They basically take your money and leave themselves an out to sell at higher price later and offer you $#*! Tickets in exchange. SCAM ARTIST! Stay away. I do not recommend!
Have not recvedsd are tickets for the card iam game and giants this Sunday! Still no tickets my husband was supposed to revive tickets today by email.
I bought tickets to Bourbon and Beyond that said Row 1 Seats 1-8. When we arrived, it was festival seating and there were no rows nor seats. We payed an exorbitant amount for front row seats. When I called StubHub, they admitted that it was a scam and offered a 25% discount on our next tickets. When I asked to speak to a supervisor, they transferred me to someone outside the US who barely spoke English and could only say, "I am authorized to give you a 25% discount certificate. This company is not legitimate and I would never attempt to buy tickets through them again.
I wish I had read other reviews. Bought tickets, Got confirmation. But never received the actual tickets. Called while in route to the football game. Overseas call center tried to help but call dropped after 45 minutes and didn't call us back (we asked them if they could call back and they said they would, but never did). Got to game and went to ticket resolution. They said to call StubHub and ask them to convert tickets to SeatGeek because they work with that organization. Called back and they couldn't help. Tried to help us get nosebleed seats, but same problem, could not receive tickets, don't know why. Got refund and thankfully stadium had 2 seats together in the last row of stadium. Not what we planned on. While in ticket resolution heard many others with the same problem. Will never use StubHub again.
Paid $34.88 for a parking pass to a 9/8 Phoenix Mercury game on 9/5. Received an email from StubHub on 9/6 saying the seller had transfered my ticket and sent me an email with the link. I never received that email from the seller. I followed all their troubleshooting steps; still no ticket. They asked me to send screenshots of: my Ticketmaster account showing my email address matched the address in my StubHub account, my Ticketmaster account showing no events, my Ticketmaster account showing my country of origin and that I was logged into Ticketmaster.com, AND a screenshot showing my email inbox with "ticket transfer" in the search bar showing no results from Ticketmaster. I sent them all these screenshots TWICE (on Thursday and on Friday), and StubHub never responded further. I never received the parking pass and had to buy another one (through a different app; I will never use StubHub again). Their lack of customer service is just disgusting.
I bought tickets for an event back in June and was assured that tickets would be given to me by Sep 3. The date comes around and no tickets are available. I called multiple times and was assured that they would be here soon. A few days later i receive an email saying that seller was no longer selling their tickets. This means that I now had no tickets. I received an email that offered me a link to get new seats, but the only seats offered were lawn seats OUTSIDE of the stadium (i paid for a real seat inside back in June). The only other option was a refund, which only gives me credit, which is not helpful because i will NEVER be using StubHub again. This all happened 48 hours before the show and was very heartbreaking as I was greatly looking forward to this.
I purchased 2 tickets to a concert last January. It was set to be performed Aug. 22. I called over 25 times to try and get the tickets transferred all the way up to 1 hr before the event was to happen. I was told multiple things each and every time I called. All of which turned out to be incorrect. I was then sent an email while at the gate entrance that no tickets would be available. I then got online and purchased tickets from Ticket Master to get into the concert. After all of the this it took 7 more calls and 15 days to finally get my refund. Never Again will I ever use Stub Hub for anything they may offer. They do not care if you receive your tickets or not. They will hold off to the last minute to see what is cheaper for them, supply you with alternate tickets or refund you at some point.
On June 21st 2023 I purchased tickets for cold play in the Philippines where my fiance lives. I am from the USA and will be traveling there about 10 days prior to the concert. I called stub hubprior tomy purchase and explained that their site said that the tickets would not arrive until the day before the concert. The call center rep from the Philippines stated that I should purchase the tickets and they would tell the seller to ship them immediately. After 3 attempts themselves agreed to send them on August 15, but never did. On August 28 2023 sub hub said they issued me a full refund of 480.00. However as of today September 7 no refund was issued and stubhub continues to make excuses. Do not trust stub hub, now I will need to sue them to resolve this issue.
I bought tickets to the game that I'm flying to on July 24th and still don't have the tickets two days before I fly out. I've called over six times now, and I have to start over with my issues each time. I always buy tickets and use Ticketmaster 90% of the time, which has now moved to 100% of the time. I've never had a customer service rep talk to me like I'm an idiot. When I speak to a supervisor, they apologize for the ignorance of their staff. Do yourself a favor and stay away from Stubhub!
I will never be using stub hub again. I listed Morgan Wallen tickets for sale and checked my account religiously to see if they had sold. I finally got a notification that my listing expired. A few weeks later, I listed my tickets for sale again. A month later, I got a notification that my tickets had FINALLY sold - just in time for the concert! I logged into my account, which I had been checking daily, and found that my tickets had originally sold a month and a half on my first listing - the one that I was told EXPIRED. I called and spoke with 3 different representatives and was told that it was now up to me to cover the difference in the charges, $1,200! I explained to them that I was under the impression that my tickets expired and that's why they were listed again. I also told them that I did NOT get a notification that my tickets had sold and that I was checking my account on the regular. They could see my log-ins! They told me that a notification email for ticket sales was a courtesy and that they didn't HAVE to send it. I am beyond upset that I A) did not even make enough money to cover my tickets and B) I had to cover $1,200 for their mistake. They had absolutely no sympathy. The way they make you jump through hoops to sell tickets leaves so much room for error which in turn ends up in their favor. I will NEVER sell or buy tickets from Stub Hub ever again.
Used the site to buy tickets to an event on 9/3/23, was never able to access the tickets and when called Customer Service for a refund was told that they couldn't refund my money
Do not do business with this ripoff company! Posted tickets for sale on their website for a concert couldn't attend. Almost 3 weeks later and over a week before the event, they still haven't sold. A friend offered me a decent price for them and I sold them myself. I immediately deleted the posting of the tickets for sale on StubHub. THEY CHARGED ME A $500 CANCELLATION FEE!
I am currently disputing it with my credit card company. Then I went online on several different websites and saw that other people have been through the same thing with these shysters. No satisfaction calling them to clear up this disaster. They are a rip off company, move on to someone else.
We bought tickets through stubhub back in April for a Lindsey Sterling concernt on August 2nd. We paid $950 for 6 reserved seats. On the day of the concernt we still had not received the digital tickets. We called the customer service department at 1:00pm (show starts at 6:30) and they told us that we will receive them by 3:30 and if we don't to call them back. 3:30 rolls by and still no tickets. We call back and we are told by customer service that our tickets are no longer avaliable! We have paid for the seats and received conformation numbers and everything. They explained that since they are a 3rd party seller there are times to many tickets are sold and you lose your tickets. They stated we could have general admission lawn tickets for the same price we paid for the reserved seating or get a refund. Again this was 2 hrs before doors open we find out our tickets are no longer availbe. They said there was nothing they could do. We ended up opting for the full refund because paying $950 for lawn seats is crazy! I will never use stubhub again. To find out 2 hrs before the door open to your event that your tickets you bought 4 months ago are no longer availbe is crazy and leaves literally no time to make adjustments to your plans or find other tickets. The next day they ended up emailing us a $200 dollar credit but after this headache I'm to scared to use them to buy tickets in the future. If I could give negative stars I would!
Side note: we ended up finding last minute tickets for half the price stubhub charged and they ended up being even better seats.
Brought Parking tic. For a FB game. Lot was 1.5 miles away from where it stated. Paid $132 4 a $40 lot
I was very unaware of the policies of Stubhub they do not make it clear at all. I put two tickets up for sale but ended up selling them elsewhere. I canceled the transaction with adequate time, months before the event. Now I am being charged for the tickets I cancelled. I did not consent to the charge nor do I know how they got my card information to make this charge. I never gave them any of my card information even when I was going to receive my payout for the tickets that were sold they asked me for payout information. They do not tell you about any of these policies. I have tried calling customer service and pretty much they cant do anything about it.
I have contacted my credit card company and told them about the Fraudulent way you sold me (overpriced) tickets to this event. I don't know how you hijacked the real web site to direct me to you but I discovered you are a fake. Phony, lying.company that has a review rating well below 2 because of your fraudulent practices. I read your reviews and see that despite your 100% guarantee, you often leave customers standing at the venue without tickets. I am just very pissed off at how you scammed me and will to whatever it takes to get my money back including small claims court if necessary. It should be an easy win since I can produce dozens of reviews of scams that you have committed as proof of your questionable business practices.
Answer: That's my assumption. Some other people on this site might be able to answer that from actual experience.
Answer: They sell tickets they do not actually have yet. They started selling tickets for a Garth Brooks concert in Salt Lake City before tickets even went on sale. They have no way of knowing if they will actually get tickets to fulfill orders, and just cancel the order the day before the event if they don't have the tickets. Its pretty much a gamble with Stub Hub if you will get your tickets or not.
Answer: Stub hub only does resales so they can rip off the seller as well as the buyer
Answer: Hello Gisela! We aren't able to have you sell will call as an ID will need to be presented for pick up. Hope this helps!
Answer: Hi Rachael, If you purchase a ticket labeled as Instant Download you will receive your ticket as soon as you order. If you purchase a mobile ticket or electronic download then you will be notified when your ticket is ready. Which would be no later than the date advised when you purchase. It is very rare to not have your ticket prior to the day of event. There are only a select few shows that require ticket delivery day of event. I hope this helps and we are here to assist if you have any additional questions!
