I bought tickets on Stubhub and they were never transferred to me. Seller then told me I have to go to Seat Geek to get the tickets even though I never bought the tickets through Seat Geeks or have an account with Seat Geeks. Called both places and neither could help. Wasted an hour on the phone. I give them a 1 because I can't do a 0.
This is the only business that I know of that will refuse to give you your money back. I accidentally purchased ticket (and Im kinda thinking it was due to a computer malfunction on their end) tickets to a show in San Antonio when I meant to get Midland. So I called back immediately and was told I couldn't even get a credit towards the right show. If I want my money back I have to list and sell the ticket that I dont want. I was told this is the case with every ticket you purchase online. Not sure. Dont care. I'm Extremely upset and want to warn anyone who even considers buying a ticket what kind of business that Stub Hub runs. I personally dont know how they sleep at night doing this to people and taking a hundred dollars from someone for nothing. But hey Karma what comes around goes around. Good luck with your shady business practices. You wont see another cent from me.
I have never chased a cooperation around for a refund before in my life! This company is the worst! I bought tickets for EDC in 2020. The event was canceled due to Covid. I was advised that I would receive a refund. It's damn near 2022 and I'm still waiting. They've blamed USPS. They've blamed UPS. Their customer service agents are as knowledgeable as the supervisors. Scary to think that a supervisor is less competent than the lowest person on the totem pole. They've blown smoke up my $#*! every time we've spoken. We've spoken 7 times in 3 months! Take a chance with a scalper on the street. Guaranteed the customer service is better and the prices!
We are on Christmas Travel and purchased tickets for a hockey while we were in town. Game was postponed due to COVID with the Team (not us). We tried to get our money refunded since we will no longer be on town when the game is rescheduled and StubHub said they can't give me a refund since they are a 3rd party. Soooooo, StubHub is basically a rip off... I will never use them again and I would recommend never using them since it's basically a rip off
Sold 4 tickets on here and was told it was successfully done. They ended up not giving me any of the $ from selling them and instead charged me entire sale! The money i was suppose to receive in return was actually taken from my bank account. I called them to resolve the issue and dealt with horrible customer service! This was my first time selling tickets and I was told I uploaded the tickets wrong so the order was canceled but they ended up rewarding the buyer of the tickets and charging me $440.00! I demanded my money back and they said they'd only give me a 30% cut of the ticket sales and I'd still be charged whatever the difference was! Do not use stub hub. Trash company who steal your tickets and profit from your mistakes in their faulty ticket sale site! They're obviously on the brink of going under. It's obvious with their very unprofessional customer service team.
I have used Stubhub as a buyer before and it's been fine. Today I used them as a seller. I posted tickets for sale and quickly realized my mistake that I could not sell them. Unfortunately, they sold within ten minutes. I tried to cancel the sale immediately and noticed that I would be charged the ENTIRE cost of sale for my mistake. I had no protection as a seller. I contacted Stubhub to ask about this and they simply said I would be charged. I got off the phone trying to work out a solution and got an email saying that Stubhub canceled my sale and we're taking the money from my account for a canceled sale. I did not authorize this. I called them back and said that i did not authorize this, to repost and refund my money and I was simply told no. Then, I was told that the original tickets I was going to sell were not side by side so it was an allowed sale.
So 1. No protection for sellers. 2. They will cancel and charge you for a sale when you have not authorized it. 3. Instead of having systems in place to keep sellers for posting something the company wouldn't sell in the first place, they will let you post, cancel it and take your money.
Stubhub is terrible.
I made a purchase online and after having charged me, the decided to cancel my order and sent me a series of emails indicating that the order was not made by me.
I tried to call them 3 separate times to verify that the order was in fact made by me but they hung up each time after having opened my file.
Very frustrating and never purchasing from there again!
I could type a long message about how horrible this company is but I am going to get to the point.
If you try to sell tickets and have to cancel the sale you will be charged what you would have made for the ticket sale.
Example: If you post 2 tickets and you would have made 800$ from the sale. And you go in and have to cancel the sale. YOU WILL BE CHARGED THE 800$.
I am out 800$ for no reason. Oh and Christmas is around the corner. The people that I spoke to were very rude and un helpful. One person even hung up on me in the middle of explaining everything. I am so upset, stressed and now broke and I have to figure out how I am going to be able to afford anything for awhile. I do not have a job where I make a bunch of money. Sadly I am one of those many that work pay check to pay check and they just took a whole pay check from me all because I canceled a sale.
Thank you stubhub for making me stressed and depressed. And worried how I am going to get by for the next few months.

10/8/21 Shaneeka and Sanour ( supervisor) expedited. Get refund in weeks
10/22 Orane it was never sent over to be expedited
10/22 Sanore if no refund in weeks... call and we will issue a check
11/5 Deanna you will get it in 3-5 days
11/12 Chonti and Pam supervisor we are working on it
11/26 Suzannee... no late than Dec 3
12/12 Danielle... sending it over to tech dept.

I ordered tickets in September as a Christmas gift. They were somehow sent to an email that was not mine and when i tried to resolve it they closed my stub hub account. Tried making a claim through my credit card but stub hub said we received the tickets so it was denied. Spent 2 hours on the phone trying to get this resolved- either a refund or the tickets and was given the run around and was transferred around from person to person. Then they said they couldn't do anything about it and just hung up. I had tried for weeks to get in touch w/ someone and this was the first time i was successful. Out over $350.
I purchased very expensive tickets for a Chris Stapleton concert. I live in Nevada, flew to Nashville, had a hotel and the day of the concert (October 2nd) he "postponed" the concert to December 10th. I knew I couldn't fly back (I have a party that night!) despite the cost of travel to return for the new date. I called Stub Hub and they told me to list the tickets, which I did. Then I lowered the cost twice so I was going to be out big time. They never sold! $953.53 gone! I'm sick to my stomach and will NEVER buy from them again. Ever!
Do yourself a favor and use another company. StubHub is going downhill. It has been 39 days waiting for a refund and after calling Amanda and talking to a manager kayann, They said I will have to wait another 2 to 4 more weeks for a refund which will cost me to pay interest on my credit card on a purchase from an event that didn't happen. 60 days for a refund is absolutely ridiculous. They don't seem to care about their customers only about making money. The manager kayann was very rude and hung up on me

I ordered tickets for the on the weekend After Hours concert that my father and I could watch together. However due to covid the concert was canceled which is understandable and every concert that I know of where canceled. Which is not an issue for me. What issue I do have is once the decision was made to refund tickets holders. It's been one month that I have been waiting for the refund! On the website it indicates that the money was refunded. I was assured that it would take 5-7 work days and it would be deposited. Day 7 still nothing. I called the company and talked to them. I was given a confirmation number and was told that I will need to wait another 24 to 48 hours. If it hasn't been deposited to call back and give them that reference number so that person can go directly to notes concerning the refund. So, The rating that I give Stub Hub is the lowest that this site uses for an rating system. If I could give them half a star Stub Hub would receive it from me.
The roller coaster that this company has put me through is ridiculous as far as I am concerned is a crappy company. It's Easy to Take but not to Give Back.
Update.
One month had elapsed since the final decision to cancel the concert. I called Stub Hub and was told that they would deposit the full amount directly to my bank. I confirmed the info they had to make there would not a mixup. The seven day period they told me that the funds would be in. It was not. Called them and this time I was given a reference number and was told to wait 24 to 48 hours. I received an email telling me that they would send me check that will be sent out on the 21st. This was the first time I have ever used StubHub and am sooo sorry I did not do my homework. Had I looked at their ratings I never would have used this service/company. First I list my tickets I wanted to sell, but couldn't upload the PDF tickets and said I would try again later. Several days later when I went to upload my tickets I could not find my listing anywhere. None of my friends could either. So I listed my tickets again and was able to upload the tickets this time. This second attempt worked great, but I could not ever tell if the tickets sold. Finally on the day of the event I found an email asking me for the tickets from the first posting (that I thought had been taken down for missing the upload date). So I went in and canceled the first sale that did not have the tickets on them. Apparently if you double list the tickets, even if you cannot find your listing or upload the tickets you are more than 100% penalized. I have now been told I still owe them $17.50. After more than 4 calls and 6 hours on the phone and terrible phone connections. I have been told that yes I owe them money. Do not use this company. They are crooks!
I pay extra to not use stubhub anymore. Their customer service is so horrible and after never receiving my tickets said they would give me replacement tickets which never came. Then they agreed to give me a credit which I also never received when I called again they said to wait 5 days. After waiting the 5 days I called again in which they said they had no record of anything and will not be making it up at all.
I recently tried to sell tickets on StubHub and they never answered the customer help line when I had issues. I wanted to fulfill my end of the deal but simply didn't know how. They never picked up the support line, then charged me the full price of the tickets as a penalty for not being able to deliver the tickets. Numerous back and forth with the company simply resulted in them charging me a p[penalty "because they could". This company does not care about you or doing the right thing,. I will refuse to use there services ever again.

I bought 4 premium tickets to a Warriors game that didn't come through. After spending about 2 hours trying to get the tickets including 80 minutes with Stubhub customer service, they tried to get me replacement tickets, but those didn't arrive in time and they couldn't get me a parking pass, which I had paid $250 for. So, after a ruined evening, StubHub agreed to give me a refund. But, the refund that they gave me was only for $246. So, I had to call back and spend another 30 minutes explaining what happened to get the rest refunded. Beware of using this company. And, don't buy premium tickets. You could easily lose any money that you spend with this compay.

Sold some tickets through StubHub for the CitiOpen in Washington, by the day of the event, due to a technicality, the purchaser was able to cancel tickets and purchase them at a much lower cost, StubHub refunded the Purchaser the full amount, which I had not received yet, and then turned around and charged me the full amount. So, StubHub not only made away with their fees, but got to keep the proceeds from the tickets I intended to sell.

Answer: They sell tickets they do not actually have yet. They started selling tickets for a Garth Brooks concert in Salt Lake City before tickets even went on sale. They have no way of knowing if they will actually get tickets to fulfill orders, and just cancel the order the day before the event if they don't have the tickets. Its pretty much a gamble with Stub Hub if you will get your tickets or not.

Answer: Hi Rachael, If you purchase a ticket labeled as Instant Download you will receive your ticket as soon as you order. If you purchase a mobile ticket or electronic download then you will be notified when your ticket is ready. Which would be no later than the date advised when you purchase. It is very rare to not have your ticket prior to the day of event. There are only a select few shows that require ticket delivery day of event.
