As a long time Straight Talk customer I am posting this to let everyone know that the company is NOT what it used to be. Yesterday my phone service was cut off, supposedly because my card didn't have the correct expiration date, which is BS because it did, and I didn't receive a notice that it was expiring either. So now, because I had to enroll in a NEW version of Autorefill I'm paying $5 more per month than I was. It looks to me like they deliberately conned me, and to make matters worse once I logged into my account I had to talk to a CHAT BOT to try to get it back on, and couldn't because the bot didn't understand what I was saying. Is this quality customer service? Not on your life. The person I was able to chat with (who never even told me his or her name) finally got my service back on, but as I said it's at a higher rate. So bottom line for me is that I'm going elsewhere.

I am disabled and am below the poverty line so I use my cell phone to watch TV programs news or just plain surf the web. Since I only draw less than $800 a month I figured that unlimited data would cover be my best option but since 60 gigs is the new unlimited I am sitting in the library parking lot using their wifi to post this. Straighttalk has outgrown their original mission the customer service socks if can even understand what they are saying and they are changing the definition of words I was taught years ago

To be honest they are a scam. They have been charging my visa since Jan, Feb, March, April. I didn't notice it and till I was on my online banking just making sure all my other payments added up correctly. I notice a pending for 49.99 was pending and it was straight talk charging me. I then called customer service from straight talk and told them I had a pending from straight talk and said last time I payed was for December of 2020 I was on a month to month I would call and talk to the billing and give them the go head that was the only way i would pay for my daughters cell. No auto payment from my visa card I gave them no access or permission to make auto refill. They just did that on their own and now I'm disputing this with my bank cause straight talk wont reimburse my money back for 4 months. Be careful people make sure to check your online banking never again well i ever trust straight talk. Thieves and crooks is what they really are Devils.

I ordered two brand new iphones for my wife and I paid. Even paid for the expideted shipping never got a tracking number and my confirmation came in spanish, I don't speak Spanish. Then received 34 different excuses on why phones never shipped. Can never speak to someone you can understand. Stop reading off a book and actually show the people that pay your paycheck some $#*!ing respect, disgusting people skill. Al bundy should get away from straight talk there ruining his career. If the CEO could get off his $#*! and fix his employees he wouldn't have this problem so disgusted and I'm leaving straight talk after four years. Don't worry mr CEO just keep lining your pockets w other hard working people's money and keep not giving a $#*! so over this $#*!

I can't speak to the actual service because I've not been able to get my connection settings setup to allow me to use anything other than Wifi. Customer service is nonexistent. Steer clear of this business.

I am in the process of a better business bureau complaint made by me because of this company didn't refund me correspondly with their return policies as agreed when signing. I have been a loyal customer since a year ago but after being mistreated I am searching for a new provider. This company has no regards towards being a qualified business. I was owed 474.94 for over a month without even just one response by email, writing, or telephone. Very irresponsible business and I want my money back even if I have to go legal with a lawsuit.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!

I have no words to describe the HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE of this company. I have LITERALLY spoken to over 50 people in the past week and nobody could fix a simple technical glitch. I was transferred from person to person and each one was dumber and more I'll informed than the last one! They will tell you anything to get you off the phone. They never fixed the problem. They are TOTALLY INCOMPETENT AND USELESS THE LOT OF THEM. THEY ARE LISRS AND CON ATRISTS AS WELL. STAY AS FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY AS POSSIBLE. LET THEM ROT AND GO OUT OF BUSINESS.

Frustrated

Bought card to recharge wouldn't work called over 10 times spent 2 hours trying to resolve finally gave up. They kept telling me different story its sim card I have to buy then transfered me to buy got disconnected then sim card free transfered me got busy signal, disconnected then it was 99cents transfered got disconnected. Asked to be transfered to supervisor who could speak English got disconnected. Went into Walmart talked to supervisor refunds on cards call straight talk. I gave up.

Bad service operators "rude". Do not buy data from this company scam. Over all it's not worth a penny of it package or plan. AVOID. You will be dissatisfied. They don't care. Not worth a star!

I recently switched to straight talk and found the service was better than most prepaid service in my area and would have rated 5 stars instead of 2 stars, and need to stop my words there. This isn't about my coverage.

Note: I do not by any means think straight talk owes me or any other customer anything! With that said, The COVID-19 pandemic orders and restrictions are public knowledge and continually broadcast throughout the World as both a public health and public safety concern.

Many of us lost our job, ordered to stay home, with no contact with family EXCEPT BY PHONE AND INTERNET and like myself many are alone. With the Nation wide concern I assumed they would want to shelter customers but found I was greatly mistaken when I plead to have my service end date extended, if nothing else through the weekend, ending with I'm sorry could I help you further? Would you be willing to participate in a brief survey. I have no words - hope they stay well, safe and they don't go bankrupt Disgusted honestly

Worst service ever
March 21, 2020

Data runs out quickly then no internet connection when you tap into wifi it's 10 a day to get 2 g with lasts about 2 hours. Rude associates who don't care. Giving my phone to 4 year old for further review because I won't be Renewing

Iwas charged double at the end of November so december was obviously paid for I talked to 6 ppl 4 managers and 2 customer service they claimed they saw where I paid extra but refuse to reimburse me or credit a one month service I am switching I have never had a problem like this with cricket Verizon tmobile sprint att I'm telling u and they all speak another language I do notcreccommend this co I gave them amole time I work in the critic magazine n tv industry I will also be fighting the B. B. B. This I'm sure I'm not the only one it's happened too screw straighttalk at least with cricket no tax cheaper better sig.and unlimited everything n straight talk phones suck

Boo, no hotspots

I purchased data and can't use it for my work! There's no upgrade available, they just want me to buy a new plan. I can't find "hotspot prohibited" anywhere on the documentation. That's idiotic.

Today i went to my account with straight talk to see my service end date only to be informed of a alert on both my home and cell phone service, I clicked their links and it said finally a error has occurred. I contacted them and was told in order to maintain my service I had to buy new equipment I asked what about my loyalty to your company a customer for over 10 years they offered nothing if form of discount on new equipment this happened November 16 2019 coming up with money at christmas for phones during holidays and living on a fixed income I can not afford to do this. After this experience I would not recommend this company or any other Tracfone subsidiaries companies. They cant even attach a working link to their webpage their customer service is beyond belief and has to be the absolute worst I have ever experienced in my life. Don't make the same mistake I made go to a real company that knows what customer service is and should be. You have been warned!

Worst service ever

Customer service just sends you in circles hoping you'll give up and forget about the problem. They are not helpful at all. Recently bought the new 3G phone card and i cant even make calls or send text messages. The internet loads at snail speed and I have an iphone. This is ridiculous!

Terrible service (((

I've been using it for 4 years, I have three lines, but I don't want it anymore, since the beginning of this year they started having big problems with the service, the Internet disappears every month and it takes a lot of time to fix it, they absolutely do not value their regular customers and don't know how to fix the problem when you contact them, I do not recommend working with them

If you want good service would reliability and some sense of security from your company do not buy from straight talk do not buy expensive phones when they get stolen they will not turn them off they let the person who stole them continue to use it and sometimes even change your number then my stolen phone was sold back to me I had to go out and buy a byot SIM card kit to bring my own phone back to Straight Talk unfortunately it comes with like four SIM cards one for AT&T phone for T-Mobile one for Verizon and guess what those very same people while giving me a ride home from Walmart took the AT&T SIM card in the T-Mobile SIM card and I asked a company to deactivate those those cannot be used since they're quite expensive I paid a pretty penny they simply hung up on me people take your money in your business I'll swear you are valued as a customer and not just once you spend your money they could give to kids about you go with the company the kids because this one doesn't all they want to do is take your money and after that they could care less about you

I got a Straight Talk $35.00 plan, thinking it would be great because it "used all the other cell towers". Almost as soon as I got it, I wasn't able to make or receive calls or texts. This was horrible timing, as my daughter left for a vacation overseas and I came down with bronchitis. I was concerned for my daughter and couldn't even call her, and I was miserable with an illness and couldn't call my doctor. Google maps didn't work. Nothing worked. I spent nearly two weeks in isolation until my daughter came back and I was able to switch to Verizon, which works just fine.

I called Straight Talk and spent an hour on the phone with three different people trying to get my money back. I had their service for two weeks and wasn't even able to use it! They informed me that I needed to take it back to the store where I purchased it, which is a three-hour round-trip drive for me. I told them that wasn't possible, and would they please refund my money. They acknowledged that they could see I hadn't made or received calls in that time period, yet they wouldn't refund my money.

I ended up driving back to the store after I recovered from my illness, only to be told it had to have been returned within two weeks. They wouldn't refund my money and advised me to call Straight Talk. Useless.

I just gave Straight Talk $35.00 of my hard-earned money for ZERO service!

This is a HORRIBLE company with HORRIBLE customer service! DO NOT TRUST THEM OR THEIR SERVICE!
