I place a order for maxima 8 for a gift for a family member my 1st order was canceled re order them again I just got them today with a surprise that look like someone try them on and put them back on the box the inside off the box looks like a mess. I call customer service give me 1 option send a replacement but I need it to send this other ones back need it print return label so I have to take my own time to do all off this keeping in mind that this Shoes were yo give them away this weekend ask replacement if I can just return them to a Steve madden store they say no. I will never recommend to any one to make online purchases from this store

They gave me one shoe

I ordered these cute shoes off of steve madden for rush and they only shipped me a left shoe because that was the only one they had left. It is absurd that they only sent one shoe instead of emailing me and saying they were out of stock or changing the status on their website to out of stock. Then when I called to confront them they were rude and did not help out at all. Overall, horrible service and not well taken care of.

I should have read the reviews before I made an order with Steve Madden. Never received a confirmation of order, eventhough the payment left my account 2 days later. Never received my order. I've been contacting them steadily for 2 months and still NO REFUND. All they write back is "we are unable to refund. We haven't concluded the investigation". It's a missing pair of shoes not a Louvre break-in. I've attached their umpteenth email, received 3 days after I last wrote them, two months after the purchase. Given that the other reviews also paint a disastrous image of the quality once you actually receive your order, I would advise NOT TO ORDER ANY STEVE MADDEN PRODUCTS, EVER.

Don't buy online

I ordered some shoes on May 27,2022. I chose the standard shipping option, it said most orders ship out the next day and that shipping is still $8 something - yet now on June 2, those shoes have still not been shipped. No email saying they have been, and I called customer service twice: the First lady was nice but didn't seem to have a viable solution since I'm moving out of the state in a few more days and told me they could try to cancel my order but no guarantees and then make a new order with $30 shipping for next day - that's more than the whole shoe im buying! Not to mention I'm not entirely sure what size I'll even need in the shoe or if it'll fit when I get it due to the reviews, so I'm supposed to buy two times just to make sure I get the shoe which might not work - I'll never order from Steve Madden again, when I called back to see if they could update my address to where I'm moving to, the guy was rude and he said no he can't update the address even though the other lady said they could at least try. I doubt the people moving into my house are going to want to be doing me favors with my shoes and forwarding my package to me when they're busy moving in the new house. He also said that the shoes look like they were in a warehouse processing and they will probably ship later that day and I called early in the day. Still no email. So I guess I just paid money for shoes that I'll never get to wear so I won't even be able to return them. Don't shop here online they're extremely inefficient in the processing department and I don't know why since it appears there's a lot of shoes of this kind in stock so it's not like they have to track down the last pair. It shouldn't be stressful to buy shoes but somehow Steve Madden made it possible

Ordered shoes, never turned up.

I ordered trainers. They never turned up. No shipment updates. No tracking. No replies to emails. Money has been taken out of my account. I'm so upset, I just wanted to have a nice pair of trainers and was so looking forward to receiving them. Tried calling, no answer. So heartbroken that I have been treated this way.

HORRIBLE quality and customer service! I ordered the Harrey boots and within 3 months of having them the sole of the boot has completely fallen off. When contacting customer service they did absolutely nothing about it and refused to help even after acknowledging it was a quality issue on their end. As nice as the products look i would NEVER order from them again. Be warned before purchasing!

Where are my shoes?

Ordered a pair of Steve Madden dress shoes online for my wedding in the summer almost 3 weeks ago. Chose online instead of in-store because their website offered a discount to sign up as a new customer which I was. They charged my card immediately but no sign of the shoes or a tracking number. The order receipt says 3 - 7 business days until it ships for processing, but I'm well passed that with no information regarding my order. I've emailed extensively but keep getting the same canned answers as everyone here. It's a different person responding each time. A couple of them said there's a chance my order might not get fulfilled? But you charged my card? The shoes are literally for sale in-store in stock, in my size, but they're not sure they can fulfill my order? Seriously? Not sure if this is a legitimate website at this point. Order # *******.

Ordered boots and sandals. They shipped the wrong style in the sandals. Was told can't return in store bc they shipped the wrong style and can only ship it back to them and they will ship me correct style and not charge shipping. So I need to waste my time and pack these stupid wrong shoes up and go to a FedEx drop off because of Steve Madden's mistake. My first delivery arrived via FedEx. It was great. Timely shipping and package left outside my apt. Door. They reshipped the correct style sandals using ghetto Lasership. Lasership is THE WORST. They should be shut down. The shipment showed no movement or scans for a week after initial scan saying it was en route. Fed up, I emailed customer service asking what is going on since they already received back the wrong shoes from me. They said they will investigate. Only after I contacted them did it suddenly show new scans on where the package is. As of now it's been out for delivery for 2 days. I wish I never ordered online from Steve Madden. This was my first time doing so and my last time. You lost a customer Steve Madden. You would think since they messed up my order they would try to fix it in the most practical and quickest fashion. Nope. This whole experience has been illogical and frustrating and I will hate the company every time i see these shoes. I even feel like just returning everything after what I went through. What a dumb way to do business.

I sold a pair of shoes on Reboot. It took two weeks to get the credit. When I finally got it was invalid. It took another week for Reboot to give a valid credit. In return I ordered a pair of boots from Steve Madden online. Again, it took two weeks to receive my order. The box was left at my mail box on the ground for anyone to take. Here's the kicker... The Shoes in the box didn't match the shoe on the shipping label. Steve Madden sent the wrong shoe, wrong size wrong everything. Apparently, the people in the warehouse can't read. I'm not being nasty. However, if the label says boot with the size and you put a loafer with a different size in the box, that's the only conclusion I can come up with.
I called customer service and they told me to take the shoes to a Steve Madden Store and exchange them. I headed straight out to the mail. No surprise, the store couldn't do the exchange. I phoned Customer service from the mail and was told they would ship the correct shoes overnight and I would have them the next day. Well, its the next day and no delivery. I just hung up with Customer service and was told the order hasn't been processed and I wouldn't get the delivery for another 4 days... maybe.
WTH happened to overnighting? I ran all over town yesterday with the promise of receiving the correct order next day. This is not the first time Steve Madden pulled something like this. I made an order and it took 2 months to get. The shoes didn't fit. Customer service told me it was too late to return or exchange. I will never buy from Steve Madden again. They lie and make excuse's for their mistakes. In this day and age of online shopping you would think Steve Madden would do better.

WRONG SHOES
April 25, 2022

I had ordered the Lawrence Pastel multi shoes about three months ago on a pre-sale. I finally received the box, and to my surprise when I opened it, the wrong shoes were inside. So, I emailed the company with my concerns, and they swiftly got back to me. They apologized and said they can send the right ones no problem, and I can send the wrong ones back with a pre-paid return slip. I happily agreed, seeing as though I still want the shoes I had ordered. The next morning I woke up to an email saying the shoes I had ordered are out of stock and they will send me a return slip for the (incorrect) ones I received. I was confused by this because not only did I receive an email the night prior saying they can send me the shoes I originally ordered with no problem, but when I had ordered them they were most definitely in stock because it was a pre-sale order and I waited three months for them. When I emailed back with this confusion, all I got was a note saying the shoes I ordered were out of stock and they will be sending me a return slip. I am highly disappointed at the lack of understanding and willingness to help paying customers. Will not be buying from Steve Madden again.

I received the black Maxima-R tennis shoe as a Christmas gift. They were hardly worn maybe a handful of times. Got so many compliments on them. I just had them on the other day, I looked down and the sole had come apart from the shoe itself. I was so upset I immediately contacted Steve Madden Customer Service. I gave them my information the lady on the other line was so rude, stated it was pass the 30 day return policy.$100.00 for a pair of shoes might not seem that much to some, but to only have worn them a handful of times and now they are no good, I was going to purchase a few other pairs but i will not now.

Nice purchase

I bought this cap that is beautiful, hot days are approaching and I will make sure to wear it, it is beautiful and has a nice design, Simple but beautiful, And remember that caps protect your face from the sun's rays, even more so when it comes to people with sensitive skin, who quickly turn red at first contact with the sun. Even if you are not sensitive skin, it is advisable to wear caps so that your eyes are not hurt with the clarity of the light.

I should have read these reviews before ordering from the Steve Madden website because what I received is appalling. I ordered the Barclay Sand Leather Boots (Order #*******), and it arrived obviously worn. They came with extreme creases, and there was even a stain on the inside of the left boot with hair attached. Does quality control even exist? Why would they send this filth to paying customers? Take your money elsewhere cause clearly Steve Madden doesn't care about their customers if they're letting them pay $100 for dirty shoes.

I ordered a pair of shoes that cost me $100+ in january. Only wore them 3 times with the past month and a half and the whole shoe tongue unsowed/came off. I reached customer service and they say that no returns can be made over 30 day like if im going to be wearing the shoes everyday. Unacceptable. The shoes are literally brand new and now i cant even wear them anymore. Nice shoes very bad quallity for the price

I have been constantly emailing their "super helpful" customer service that a package that hasn't moved in 2 weeks is obviously lost. I told them I know this product WILL sell out to just re-send it because it was so obvious i would not be getting the package. Now that I ask them to hang to my size they tell me it'll reship in 3 MONTHS. This wasn't even the first mistake. I ordered the incorrect size and when i asked to cancel it the SAME NIGHT when I placed the order they said nope too late sorry. Gave me a hard time about the return label. I would suggest just getting Steve Madden anywhere but their own website. Just the worst experience I've ever had with an online shop, especially through a business that has been around for 30 years.

Stole money from my bank account

I pre-ordered boots last November. I was expressly told I would not be charged until the boots shipped a month later. I changed my mind the next day and cancelled the order. I even called to make sure that I had not been charged. I was assured I hadn't been. So, today, I randomly opened my Steve Madden orders to check, to see that they had CHARGED ME AND KEPT THE MONEY EVEN AFTER I CANCELLED THE ORDER. They stole my money. I called customer service and the women had no explanation. She said they would refund me in 3-5 business days. I asked for an email detailing the contents of our conversation for written proof. I have very little faith that I will be refunded. Steve Madden already demonstrated its gross lack of integrity as a company. They blatantly lie to and steal from customers.

Fraud membership

Why should consumer pay for membership?
I was duped I'm doing so, wrong of me.
A person can go on site and buy at discount without paying for membership. The only thing the membership will go is help with shipping.
Giving 1 star Steve Madden stop charging for membership, you are already rich.

I ordered a pair of shoes for a Christmas present for my step-daughter who lives 3 hours away from me, due to covid and family getting sick/dying from covid, I have not been able to give her the presents. Come to find out she already received the shoes for a gift from another family member. I work 2 jobs 7 days a week, I am a single mom(widowed) and what little time of the day I have left goes to supporting my daughter and sleeping. I finally have a morning off and I wanted to take care of returning these shoes(heck even store credit since they were $98) but I was told no multiple times. How can a large corporation who claims to give to charity helping women become economically independent punish a women for being economically independent. I work hard for my money I earn, I don't get any hand outs from anywhere and now here I am stuck with a pair of shoes because apparently my exchange/return will cause this $1.5 billion(generates revenue) dollar a year company to go bankrupt. SHAMEFUL PATHEIC COMPANY that does nothing but hurt people.
