Shoes are overpriced for what you get. Artificial cheap leather shoes. Their training shoes are nice but you can get the same ones for 1/3 of the price. Steve Madden shoes should be $20-30 maximum.

They actually have a no exchange, no return policy on some items! You must be aware! I purchased a pair of boots on clearance, mind you I paid $80 for them. They turned out to be too big. They said that because the boots were on "clearance" that I could not exchange or return, not even at a store! I will never buy from them ever again! You better off buying thru eBay! $80 and xmas present down the drain!
On December 22 I went to buy a pair of shoes my daughter wanted for Christmas but the Brea store didn't have her size. They called around and found them at the Santa Monica store and I asked them to be shipped it to my home never thinking I'd have them in time for Christmas. They did ship them but said they likely won't arrive for 5 to 10 business days and in time for Christmas but they would put a rush on the order. The shoes arrived at my home the very next day! And with free delivery! I was amazed they could get them to me so quickly and before Christmas. I really want to thank the person at the Brea store who found them and the Santa Monica store for mailing them out so quickly and for expediting delivery! Great service!
I made an order 20 days ago for a single pair of shoes. No updates, no explanation. "Still processing" is what they are saying. Emails have been sent, complaints have been made. I've received nothing. And I expect an explanation, my order, or my money back, VERY soon.

My first time shopping stevemadden.ca. Order 30/11/12 and today 15/12/12 I didn't received my shoes yet. I contacted them to cancel my order they said it can't be. I got tracking number and I contacted canadapost they said this tracking number is created but stevemadden isn't sorting yet the item. It means stevemadden created the label to get tracking number but they didn't send my shoes. I will never order from them ANYMORE in my live! I wear a size 10 boot shoe, tennis shoe any kind of shoe! Ordered a size 10 in tall boots from Steve Madden directly. Boots are definitely too small so I asked for an exchange. I got a very politely worded email saying you may not return or exchange them that they are a clearance item! I'm so pissed. It never said that when I ordered them in fact, there is a link that shows that I have to click on it to see the full return policy and it doesn't say anything about it being a non-returnable item. There's no wonder this company is such a bad reputation.

Placed an order. Two weeks later no confirmation email, no shipping email, nothing. I emailed "*******@stevemadden.com" twice, no response. I used the "Report an issue" twice on their website. Nothing. I finally got in touch with a customer service rep over the phone who tells me "The item is in stock, but the stock quantity is low"...okay? So why hasn't it shipped and when will it ship? "The stock is low and it will ship at any moment." So I ask her to just cancel the order but she refuses and says that it isn't possible. So now I have to go through my credit card company to get a refund.

I bought 2 pair of shoes from Steve Madden one from Amazon one from 2 bigfeet had to return both they were birthday presents for my husband they were dress shoe boots call hearken they were supposed to be a 17EE, shoe was right in size but not in width, to small, probably needed a 4EEEE,was told they don't go any higher. I ordered two pairs of shoes. They came in a box that was completely torn up and taped back together. They didn't fit so I called customer service. I couldn't understand her and she insisted that my order number didn't exist. Tried again later and received the same response. Now I have two pairs of shoes that don't fit. I don't mind when things occasionally don't meet their design or quality expectations however when this happens I expect the vendor to stand up and take responsibility.
This happened to me twice recently - 1) Converse - I send them a picture, answered a few questions and they sent me a code to get any replacement pair from their website. 2) Steve Madden. Same deal however after TWO MONTHS AND OVER 20 EMAILS I've been given the run around from the store to the head office and no one wants to take responsibility aside from giving me a discount of 30% on new pair at full price!
The shoes were over $100 new and lasted around 4 months before the sole started separating from the heel and they started to allow water in as a result.
I've NEVER had such a poor experience with a vendor and regrettably will not purchase additional again.

I had continued to purchase Steve Madden Shoes whilst this issue was sorted out however I'm going to stop this effective immediately, absolutely awful.

The Derby and Voxxen lines I searched online were limited, hardly any left. They were the best! ----- They were the best looking shoes. Why the discontinuance? The only styles I like are almost gone, none that fit me. This company will design a new line of great shoes that are RARE GEMS and last no time. I emailed the company and they gave an ignorant excuse of not knowing what they have available. Every company should know what they have available. It seems that most of their products are boring with a few rare gems mixed in that they quit making. Please stop dangling the carrot, teasing us with one gold pair of size 8's that fits nobody!

I ordered a pair of boots weeks ago, they still haven't shipped. They were quick to charge my card though - of course. I've contacted customer service three times (all of which they assured me the boots would ship the next day or two), well, it's been two weeks, completely useless. Their excuse was "low stock" and therefore the order was send to a different fulfillment centre. Okay, so the order has been sent to a different fulfillment centre WITH stock two weeks ago, why have they still not shipped? Feels like a scam. Your customer service is also garbage. Answer: It's a legit company, but they are very unorganized and don't hire appropriate associates to deal with any customer issues/complaints. I would do extensive research before ordering online. Their in store service is moderate.
Answer: It used to take less than a week from ordering to get your shoes. As of late, their warehouse coffeemaker must be broken or their staff are underpaid and miserable because, the orders aren't being shipped. Order from Steve Madden if a) you appreciate the element of surprise: will your shoes arrive? Will they be the size you ordered?; or b) considering ordering a style you anticipate preferring a year or so from now, or maybe never.
