I purchased a very expensive bag. I told was leather. It peel worse than a sheep
Was very excited with my assuming leather bad made in China.
I spent my hard earned money on the beautiful black lasso boots from Steve Madden.
$217 after tax.
The most I have ever spent on a boot was $80 and those had ok quality and still are with me to this day after repeated wear.
These black lasso boots however are falling apart and it's so disheartening to see as someone who can't just throw away $200.
The shoes paint is falling off and the sole and heel are breaking down. Customer service and store is no help. Sorry return policy is 30 days and I'm like why would I return a shoe that I like that just happens to have terrible quality. There has to be a customer satisfaction guarantee and I'll def find it.

I ordered boots that were in stock, didn't receive them for after almost two weeks. They blamed it on a warehouse move.
Then a month passed. They then said the boots might not even be in stock anymore since the holiday sales began - ridiculous since I ordered ahead of time to avoid this. They said they would look for the shoes - then just cancelled my order.
I am STILL awaiting my refund. I had to follow up with them because it still hasn't come and they blamed it on a "system error". Genuinely how many of those can there be? They said I'd receive it by the end of the day and - spoiler alert - I still don't have it. Avoid ordering from them at all costs - go in person or buy secondhand if you have to.

I placed a order for Steve Madden sneakers and matching pocketbook 2 months ago I received the sneakers but still haven't received the pocketbook. I was told it was on backorder I'd receive it by Dec. 1st I emailed them and now it went from Dec.1st to Dec. 6th my order is completely paid for yet I haven't received my merchandise. If I don't reach out to them they don't update me very unprofessional of them to do no one should be treated like this especially when they're spending their money. If you want to buy anything I don't suggest you purchase Steve Madden products you can be waiting forever for something you may never get but really want.

I tried online but as belfast don't have dpd drop off points I need to contact the company to arrange pick up. No one answers emails in this company. Honestly the worst costumer service ever. These all caps are not an exaggeration. I returned a complete order worth nearly $9000 of shoes because the quality of them was absolutely horrendous. Using the labels they provided, it arrived at their warehouse in Bloomington on 7/24/23. Fast forward to the time of me writing this email (9/14/24) and they still have not refunded me. I showed them pictures of proof that the Fedex driver picked up the return order, yet they still insist on having me "Wait a few days so they can check the warehouse". Well they have been checking the warehouse now for nearly 2 months. I truly believe this company is trying to scam me out of my refund.

Do not buy from Steve Madden. They are refusing to replace a pair of sandals after one literally broke in half. Is from an older online order but seldom worn. Proved that to them with pictures, one being of the strap showing no indentation where the buckle is when buckled to the ankle, the other of the heel showing no wear. FIVE days worth of emails, over a hour on the phone, no assistance! They definitely do not care about the customer. A horrible low quality company. Found a similar pair for less money even and they will not agree to replacing with them. Says wear and tear, I call BS!

My mother ordered a Steve Madden bag for me as a gift. Had it shipped to my house and it never came. I'm not sure what happened with the shipping or even if the bag order was processed at all because we can't even get a response back after sending countless questions and requests for order updates through their order form! Got an email saying my package was delivered but I did not receive anything and the delivery picture was of someone else's front door. I called the customer service number to get this resolved thinking they could replace the order on the phone. I was told to wait until the end of the next day to see if the package showed up, which it didn't. I called again and the man I spoke to was very rude - he kept interrupting me and rudely correcting me while I was speaking. He said they would open an investigation and I would get an email with resolution options in 3-7 days about the order. I asked what the resolution options typically were and if I would be able to get my money back or reorder the shoes, only for him to interrupt me and repeat himself about getting an email. I hung up, upset at the way I was spoken to and about the wait time for an investigation to be conducted because the shoes I purchased were a birthday present and now will not arrive in time if I have to reorder. Just overall terrible customer service and the delivery service they use clearly doesn't know how to use a GPS system because it's almost impossible to get lost trying to find my house.

Still waiting for a refund on products I wasn't even supposed to get but their faulty website randomly put all the items I removed from the order BACK IN the cart. Contacted them IMMEDIATELY once I realized the error (within the hour) only for them to claim it was corrected then STILL SHIP the items. This was back in May. It's August. Then they tried to charge me restocking fees. And you NEVER get an update or your return processed unless you STAY on top of them. You practically have to do their work for them and all that's just the customer service aspect. The quality of the actual products is TERRIBLE. The one item I did actually want and receive was a green purse with green metal accents of the same color. All the green accented parts were loosing paint after TWO HOURS of wearing it for the first time with nearly no manipulation because I sat in a car for 80% of that. Purse already looking dingy and used before the night out even began. AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL company. Never mind the fact I bought a near replica version of a pair of slippers from Target that were 1000x better quality. The SM version after a few months are separating at the sole and had nearly NO cushion from day one and NO support meanwhile Targets were OBVIOUSLY better quality even at time of purchase, better support, and actual CUSHION... cause it's a SLIPPER. Sorry for all the caps but I'm truly upset such high priced junk is being sold with terrible customer service on top of that. SM gotta pick a struggle you can't be bad at both but then again if they weren't stealing money they wouldn't make any with these products. SAVE YOURSELF! DO NOT BUY FROM SCAM MADDEN!

I bought a pair of slippers last week from Gurgaon Ambiance Steve Madden outlet. With just a single wear, the slippers have started to worn out. I asked them to repair or replace it, even check its availability in NCR region, but they simply refused. When we buy a product, they say life time warranty, but they don't even provide within the first week of purchase. Even being such a reputed brand, they offer cheap quality product. Highly recommend NOT to buy Steve Madden product, wastage of time and money.

Customer service had no clue as to how to help me. With a company that is very reputable for their business, they are disappointing. Answer: It's a legit company, but they are very unorganized and don't hire appropriate associates to deal with any customer issues/complaints. I would do extensive research before ordering online. Their in store service is moderate.
Answer: It used to take less than a week from ordering to get your shoes. As of late, their warehouse coffeemaker must be broken or their staff are underpaid and miserable because, the orders aren't being shipped. Order from Steve Madden if a) you appreciate the element of surprise: will your shoes arrive? Will they be the size you ordered?; or b) considering ordering a style you anticipate preferring a year or so from now, or maybe never.
