HI Daniel, Thanks for the honest review. We are so sorry that you were not happy with the pricing. If it less expensive to ship through the retailer than you would definitely want to go that route. The carriers that Stackry uses charge based on dimensional weight or actual weight, whichever is higher. Because of this, the size of your parcel can determine the billable weight of your shipment. I see you shipped a framed print which can be larger in size but light in actual weight, so it appears you were billed on the size. The good news is, you did save on shipping the second package by consolidating the packages. So if your package was large, but light, it may have been charged based on dimensional weight not the actual scale weight. Dimensional weight is based on the size of the box. Saved me a fortune on shipping costs to Australia. Consolidation is great, the 80% estimated savings was spot on.
Over $200 aud to ship, had the seller been prepared to ship directly it would have cost under $100. Good to get a hard to get item, but unlikely I'll use Stackry again.
Good service but sometimes things appear to be marked as hazardous when there not.
I've order RC cars that DON'T come with batteries but I've had to pay hazardous shipping rate.
Fine but my second shipment was lost in the warehouse and didnt show on my dashboard for 7 days. This worried me.
DHL Express was 20 dollars more expensive to Finland than with one of your competitors ''MyUS'' and Shipito.
Your website is very nice though. But I will continue to use MyUS due to the cheaper DHL Express price.

Far too many 'add on' costs now, and the actual dimensions/weight to billed dimensions/weight is a a disgrace.

Too many fees now, and far too expensive with shipping. The shipping times are not as advertised and Stackry don't care.

We do have processes in place to help lower dimensional weight, such as a repack ($5) or consolidation ($2 per package). This is how our customers save the most money. Compared to our competitors, we have no membership or receiving fees, free 45 day storage, and 0% US sales tax when you purchase items to be delivered to your locker). Answer: The restrictions are on these types of items are dependent on what country you are shipping to. It is always best to check with your local customs office on what can be shipped before shopping in the U.S. The specific restrictions will vary by country. For example on your list perfume has the tightest restrictions which are based on the ‘flash point’ of the perfume. Very sorry you did not have a good experience with us. We pride ourselves on customer service, so it is concerning to hear this. When Stackry receives a package with a different name from the account name or an incomplete locker number, the package is placed in our "unknown locker" so the wrong client does not ship it out. It appears your package arrived with a different last name and once that was verified we were able to retrieve the package from the unknown locker and move it to your account.
