I purchased a treadmill since 10/2023 the manufacture it's not replacing the treadmill that don't work at all,send emails/pictures/videos and they will not resolve anything it's 1/23/2024 still waiting on a empty box supposed to return the treadmill! Never Again will purchase anything with this manufacturer
Do not buy. It is a waste of money and a scam. I bought a full protection policy in my couch. They took over 5 months to even follow up on the claim and send a technician to my home to evaluate the couch then said they would need 14 weeks to order parts. When I asked for a better resolution they said no. So over 5 months to get a technician and over 3 months for parts, leaving my house with a broken couch for almost a year from filing and then the parts never came.
SquareTrade refused to honor a contract on the basis that I have filed too many claims with them in the past. Refusing to elaborate what they meant by this they promptly refused to reimburse me for the money I spent to buy the warranty. In regards to making claims with them in the past, if anyone knows video game controllers they will know the wear and tear they go through and can breakdown quite easily. Because I have filed claims with them in the past due to this very reason, they refused to honor my current claim I have about a broken controller. In other words if you actually use their warranties they will simply stop honoring them. I do not remember reading any of this in the fine print but apparently thats a thing. Additionally, their customer support was useless during this whole process and strung me along for a month and a half before finally refusing honor the contract or even reimburse me for buying the coverage. Scam company so beware!
I think withAllstate Square Trades not wanting to accept legit reviews on their own websites on Google, and paying Google to block them tells the whole story. They have deep pockets and they get deeper with the help Google and all the other internet giants, two very sad companies
IF A CASHIER EVER SUGGESTS A SQUARE TRADE PROTECTION PLAN NEVER GET ONE, IT IS THE BIGGEST SCAM, I HAVE BEEN BURNED 3 TIMES BY SQUARE TRADE! ALL STATE AND SQUARE TRADE DO NOT LOOK OUT FOR YOUR BEST INTEREST AND NEVER DELIEVER ON THEIR PROMISES. THEY OFFERED ME A 10TH OF THE PRICE OF A NEW TV INSTEAD OF REPLACING THE TV THAT I PURCHASED THE PROTECTION PLAN FOR. THE OFFER WAS INSULTING AND IS GOING TO COST ME $700 TO GET A NEW TV WHEN ALL I WANTED WAS FOR THEM TO FIX IT OR REPLACE IT. DONT LET THIS HAPPEN TO YOU
I have tried contacting the corporate office of Square Trade to speak with its leadership. However, Karl Wiley and his team are hidden behind their 1-800 number. The employees in the call center tell consumers that they are not allowed to give out the corporate office phone number.
This range needs to be replaced with one that is usable. I want to be able to cook cornbread, lasagna, roast and other foods, but I can't on this non-workable range that costed me a lot of money.
I am asking that the Federal Trade Commission resolves this matter. I believe that Square Trade has a history of recklessness. I believe Square Trade and Karl Wiley needs to be stopped because they are stealing money from consumers.
This company has lawsuits against them. If I had known this I never would have purchased an appliance from Nebraska Furniture Mart with warrant through Square Trade. I believe both companies offer horrible experiences.
The process was complicated, not necessary, arduous and the company is just generally hard to deal with
Bought the warranty for my office funiture and don't like anything about it. Will never buy it for any of my purchases.
Have submitted numerous screenshots of the purchase from Amazon's app with the details requested, but AllState/SquareTrade insists they will not honor the warranty. One agent kept me on for 30 minutes and said they will, and "the backroom" office sent an email hours later saying they won't.

Horrible customer service. Very unprofessional if I could give no star I would. I have a current phone claim with them right now and nothing has gone right. The review team is absolutely appalling and almost very much have no idea what they are doing. I have sent everything they asked and still day by day they keep emailing me asking for the same things. Now they are asking me to send something I can not even do. Because I did not use the service they are asking me to provide. Simply very unprofessional. My phone company Three has signed me up to this company and any new customer to Three AVOID GETTING THE INSURANCE POLICY THROUGH THEM. Rather get your own with other independent company for your own sanity.
I had the little piece break off of my fitbit 3 days after receiving it. They refused to fix/replace it saying it wasn't a mechanical issue. According to their warranty they are supposed to replace it as stated.
I purchased a couch from Wayfair and thought I was being smart to purchase the protection plan just because I knew it was a cheaper couch and wasn't sure how it was going to hold up. I purchased in July and by November the seams on the couch had separated and were ripped. First I went through back and forth with Wayfair and Allstate/Squaretrade both saying the other company was responsible for the item and it's repair. Finally, I get Squaretrade to file the claim and send in photos as requested. They then get back to me and tell me that the "resolution" is for them to send a technician out to "repair the item" when I could've told them that I could try to sew it and I know it wouldn't last and wouldn't look good. I just wanted a replacement of the cover for that one couch cushion. I would even pay for it at this point. They told me that according to the warranty details, they have someone come to repair it first and if that works then the warranty remains in place. If they can't repair the item THEN they will replace/refund but the warranty is then ended? Because I had to use the 5 year warranty it is now ended after only a few months? Absolutely ridiculous. I told the support agent I did not feel comfortable with a random technician coming to my house and would rather just get the replacement/refund at this point even if it ends my "warranty" (if you can call it that). They have to "send it to the team for review" before they can even approve that. What a useless "warranty". Extremely frustrated this was a complete waste.
Malafide organisation that does not respond to cancellations and keep on charging me for a insurance I do not want.
Yesterday December the 30th I tried to upload a receipt for a new Office Depot computer warranty and the website is down I tried for an hour and a half different websites to no avail I called four or maybe even five different times and three out of the five times their customer service either hung up on me in the middle of my explaining to them what's going on or rhey just tried to transfer me to the wrong department and then I finally got to the billing department so they could help me upload the receipt they were closed. I was finally able to upload the receipt without the help of anybody from allstate/squaretrade insurance So I just want to say you guys have a $#*!ty $#*!ing attitude towards your customers
Purchased online Walmart Protection Plan powered by Allstate on 8/25/21. As requested. Emailed receipt of purchase also. Filed a claim for sofa repair on 12/6/23 (sofa back pillows warping)As requested sent photo. Claim immediately denied: Why denied? Discoloration, resiliency shown on photo. I am very disappointed. A service person should have been assigned. Reviewing from a pdf photo should not be a deciding factor for denying my claim f/ furniture in home repair! I Will Never Recommend anyone to purchase a protection plan from Allstate. Very dissatisfied with your Allstate Protection Plan. What a waste of purchase!
I sent in a robot vacuum to get fixed that I had a warranty on. It was a Roomba and I packaged him up nicely and neatly and clean and he was sent in. I am not even joking you in a couple days I received an email where they were going to try to take away my warranty stating that animal feces was found inside. They refused to provide pictures and we're going to attempt to cancel my entire plan. They sent it back to me, and when I opened it up it was just as clean as when I had sent it and I mean clean! I am super super disappointed in the laziness and unprofessionalism. I called back because I have proof and pictures and I eventually was able to get a gift card with the replacement amount that it cost. It was so much of a hassle I don't think that you should ever take the chance always go with asurion on AMAZON.
Shame on Wayfair using this company they are terrible. Allstate who took over Square Trade. I paid $339.00 for protection 2022. A year later I needed to use the protection plan as I wore some black pants and some dye rubbed off on the sofa. I filed a claim. When I didn't hear from them 3 weeks later I call them and was told "Oh your claim was closed we don't cover dye" Oh wow would have been nice if you emailed me and told me that. I asked if they cover spills. "Yes we send you a kit to do it yourself" WTF for $339 I can buy my own kit and have plenty of money left over. This company is a rip off they will more then likely NEVER come to your home but keep making suggestions so YOU can remedy the issue yourself. Scammers DO NOT BUY ALLSTATES PROTECTION PLAN.
I haver had extended waranties through other companies that made filing a claim tedious, but nothing even remotely like Square Trade. I have a $4000 refrigerator that ois just over a year old and had a ST extended warranty. The ice dispenser quite working and I tried to file a claim with SquareTrade. The (of course) foreign service agent (who barely speaks English) leads you around in all sorts of inane circles trying to get you to do all sorts of irrelevant things - they can't process a claim woithout a video (!) of the refrigerator sitting in the kitchen, they want you to defrost it, they want you to check if the water supply line is frozen (it makes ice, but won;t dispecnse it). After all this, they still won't schedule a service call.
SquareTrade is not square., they are crooks - pure and simple.
Poor customer service, you can never talk to someone on their customer service line. Even when you send in devices, they often find an excuse not to accept the device. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME TRADING IN DEVICES, BECAUSE CHANCES ARE, THEY WILL NOT ACCEPT YOUR DEVICE.
This is a 2nd party extended warranty insurance through ALLSTATE be aware ALLSTATE sells it when you buy electronics but they don't want to be held accountable. It is almost impossible to file a claim. You have to start with a claim that take hours to navigate through in order to get somewhere. Once you are able to get some sort of lead, this is just to buy them time. In my particular case they send me to apple store, apple told me they couldn't do anything it was out of factory warranty. I spent another few hours trying to have someone understand my problem. Finally they emailed me a shipping label to send my labtop to their repair center. After a week or two of not knowing where my laptop was, i get back from fedex only to find out nothing was ever done and my labtop still doesn't turn on. When i called them they said there is nothing they can do but because they found some small corrosion and that voids the warranty. My labtop never has been close to wate, funny apple said just needed a new battery and thats what it was all along because i had the battery replace and it work just fine.DO NOT BUY THIS EXTENDED WARRANTY IS NORTH YOUR TIME.
Answer: Company takes forever doing anything. Refuses refunding when it cant repair something and will make up an excuse to void the warranty.
