Spirit Halloween sucks I bought a costume and tried to return not even 24 hours later and they tell me I can't return it cause it's after the 23rd or 26th that the cashier should of told me all sales are final they never told me that all they care about it getting your money like you wanna donate to this and that and do you want to round up to the next dollar but never said all sales are final never will I ever go back again and I will tell everyone not to go there do better spirit Halloween
What a bunch of crap. I payed and extra shipping fee to have it sent over night (I ordered on 10/25) and it STILL hasn't came! WHAT a waste paying an additional price for overnight shipping if it doesn't even arrive during normal shipping business days. What a rip off. Definitely not shipping here again.

I specifically asked the cashier if item was returnable and was told that item can be returned for cash back up until 10/23 but after the 23rd only exchange or store credit.
She didn't tell me that after the 26th neither exchange nor credit would be available. No signage by the register, only small print on the receipt which I didn't look at since cashier told me herself "her version" of the return policy.

I was so happy to visit the Spirit Halloween store but when I was looking for something that I wanted they didn't have it, I am in to the Jeepers Creepers films and I was really hoping that they would have something Jeepers Creepers whether it is the costume, mask or signs, there was nothing! I was really dissatisfied. I am also sure that I am not the only one who likes Jeepers Creepers. I am hoping that next year they have Jeepers Creepers things.
Ok so this is my first AND last time shopping at spirit because of how racist the workers were, how they make their return policy's because I bought something a day after final sales and someone should sue their asses for this, they are making billions every year because they rip people off with poor quality products, cheap robots that break easily, and also everything in general, hope their pyramid scheme falls and burns in hell

They ruined my son's Halloween! He was super excited to be a blow up dinosaur this year so we bought it earlier this month. Boys can be rough on things so I didn't let him touch it until our town had trick or treating yesterday. He wore the costume for 45 minutes and the fan started malfunctioning and broke. I had to run him home for a costume change and by the time we got back it was over. We were upset so I called hoping they would at the very least give me a costume that worked but they don't stand behind the garbage that they put out. Although I'm out almost $60 I learned a valuable lesson and I will never purchase anything from that store again. I'm sure Walmart would have made things right so from now on it will be places like that that get my money and I suggest you do the same.

This business is a terrible place to work. Stocking, organization,workers don't help other, customers have no respect for the store they also steal. I didn't even have to work on Friday had a chiropractor appointment yet was told to come in and I hurt my back I was told to bring a doctor's note or I'll be terminated brought the doctors note was told I would have 2 other workers to help as per the note requested. They did not follow the note they forced me to get on a day I wasn't scheduled also the year before this broke my hand there and my boss took me to the hospital gave insurance to the doctors and it failed I contacted my boss and he said it was my problem. Spirit Halloween does not care for their employees.

When we went to go exchange them / return them they told us there was a no returns or exchanges because it was too close to halloween... We bought another box that has working lights though... Will never buy from this crappy store again. Their stuff is cheaply made and way overpriced. Even Walmart is gold next to them. This store SUCKS!

Please do not order from here. The shipping is a bait and switch. If you order 2 day shipping it takes 3-4 days to come (listed no where on the order page - it only says 2 day shipping). I ordered the morning of the 25th and my order is not arriving until late at night on the 28th. This is almost 4 business day shipping. They won't refund my money for the shipping and my kid won't have her costume for trick or treat. This is not standard for a retailer that ships (I order everything online)!

I purchased an inflatable chicken costume online that my 9 year old really really wanted. What I received was a very small white envelope-package that contained a grey flower bouquet for a corpse bride accessory.
The status of my order says"delivered on Oct 26th" and not only was the order WRONG, but the store policy is no returns after the 23rd. The website says to go to a store for exchange but you cannot do that after the 26th. The delivery was made at 8pm and the store was closed….so now this store has my $50 for a costume I did not receive and my kid does not have a costume, so I'm going to have to pay more money to get him a costume and it will likely not be what he wants bc it's so close to Halloween.
The worst part is it's impossible to get ahold of anyone - the phones say it's a 14 hour wait to speak with a representative…this is just awful.
I just want what I paid for, and since the order was not fulfilled, and I'm forced to buy a different costume, I want my money back. This is the worst customer experience ever. I honestly wish I could give this company NEGATIVE stars.

I ordered from Spirit Halloween on September 29. Didn't hear anything for about a week and a half when the site said I'd receive shipment confirmation within a couple days. So, I emailed. No response. I called instead and got told to call back in 20 minutes because she has to look things up. I call back. The previous girl did not look anything up. So the girl I'm on the phone with now is looking it up. Literally 25 minutes on the phone and she tells me she is going to cancel the order because they're not fulfilling it. I said what, why would you cancel? She said "I can look into it, but it'll take me quite awhile, so I'm just going to cancel". Garbage.
So, I FB messaged the company and stated my frustrations. They said "Oh, it looks like we have a store fulfilling it, so you should receive confirmation shortly." I was like okay great, I'm getting my order after all.
Then I get another message saying it's cancelled now. So, I again said I was frustrated.
Then another message! Oh, it's being fulfilled again. I said okay, cool.
Then they said they'd have to cancel again. At this point I said "I'm honestly so confused with what is going on". They replied with "Sorry, we can't assist you with your cancellation request because a store is currently fulfilling your order." Honestly. I never had a cancellation request.
This was all happening about mid October. So I get an email the next day saying it's shipped! Awesome. I go to track it, nothing. I tried tracking it every day. Nothing. So I messaged the store again and said I was super unhappy with this service and I have no clue where my package is. Two days go by with no response. I just sent another message and nothing.
Honestly, wooooorst customer service. I will never buy from them again solely for this reason.

I bought a costume for my daughter and it was too small. When I went to return it they said I couldn't return or exchange. They said it ended at midnight the night before. I was very upset

I ordered $60 worth of stuff from this company six weeks later nothing I sent them multiple emails nothing in return. This company is a scam going through my credit card to try and get my money back.
I strongly advise against shopping at this store!I recently purchased a 6ft Zombie Fog Animatronic from this store, and the experience has been nothing short of disappointing. Upon receiving the product, I discovered that a crucial part was missing. Despite my numerous attempts to contact the store and address the issue, they have failed to take any corrective action. The lack of response and unwillingness to facilitate a return process reflects poorly on their customer service. At this point, I'm left with a defective product and a sense of frustration. I strongly advise others to steer clear of this store and explore alternative options for their purchases.

I placed my order and paid for it on 9/25/23. I have emailed them 4 times, they responded 2 times with the same thing, your order has shipped. I tracked the order and it is in Chinese so I can't read most of it, some of it is in English and tells me where the order is and the date, it says it's in my town and has been since the 18th but I have not received it. I emailed and told them to refund my money but they have not emailed me back.

I ordered a costume for my daughter, and it was supposedly delivered by Fed Ex. I never received the package, so I called Spirit Halloween's customer service #. The first rep told me that I would have to file a police report for a stolen package before I could get a refund. I called again hoping to talk to someone with more sense. The second person said they could send a replacement. I told him the costume was no longer in stock in my daughter's size and that I wanted a refund. For the second time, he said he would have a replacement sent. I told him he wasn't listening to me and he hung up on me. Save your money and stick to Amazon! If I could give them 0 stars I would. What a way to ruin someone's Halloween.

Buyer beware. Tried to return something for a different costume. Never used. Nope sorry. Rude and loud manager. Oh I showed them the bill. Excuses excuses. There was a computer shop in Whitby that had similar customer service. They are now out of business..

My husband and I decided to be Chuckie and Tiffany Valentine for Halloween. His overalls were really big they was a large/extra large, but we pinned it up and we made it work overall. Very good quality.
Spirit Halloween used to put out great merchandise, but these days it's turned into nothing more than crap. I purchase from them a lot, but that will stop from here on out. I own over 150 animatronics. More than 75 came from spirit. 5 items that I bought last year and used in halloween night only no longer work. And they say they are out of replacement parts. 3 of the items I ordered this year have quit working. One was delivered broken. Save yourself some despair and order from companies that care about their customers and the products.

During Peak Season phone lines can be a little busy and we can be experiencing long hold times. However, we do have representatives that are on Live Chat and emails.
