OMG I have never had a more difficult experience ordering online before! This company advertises low prices and it seems like it may be a small company, I like to support smaller companies as opposed to the larger places. What a mistake! I received my order and my fish were very very sick. I emailed the owner (Keith?) and he refused to even acknowledge that I had a problem. He isn't reasonable at all. I've never been so insulted. I just now saw all the negative reviews but I wish I had seen them before I put my trust in these people. Now I will have to reverse the charge on my credit card. Such a hassle!

Avoid this business! We ordered 3 discus. Two were healthy and resembled the fish we ordered. The third was ill from the onset with no color. (Granted he may change color as he ages... but he was the same size as the others who were already in good color) This 3rd discus became progressively ill - not eating, hiding, clamped down fins... The company was contacted and discounted all of our reports. Only with days of medicating were we able to save this fish. --- and they didn't even help with sending meds to treat the sick fish they shipped!

HORRIBLE! Listen to all the bad reivews as the good ones are fake. These people dont care at all about the fish or the customer. I emailed them indicating that I was taking off work Friday for the fish. So they emailed saying that they would ship on Thursday. Instead they shipped on Wednesday and the fish sat in the post office for 18 extra hours. I picked them up Friday and the whole package stank. Two fish were long dead and they rest in very bad condition. I then contacted them and they told me that they would refund me 41 bucks IF I follow thier return policy. They included a link to the policy, but then immediately banned me from their site so I couldnt read it. Therefore I never got the refund. DO NOT USE THEM! They are awful scammers and will die when a truckload of dead discus crashed into them.

First shipment over a year ago was great. This shipment how ever the fish where very under feed all had bad fins. The shipment was a day late and only 1 doa but 4 of the other fish where on deaths door. I sent an email letting him know how bad the shipment was and that I wasn't happy and he turned into a child. Let me know he would refund the doa's but he doesn't ship sick fish. Oh and the best part he would be removing my account so I needed to get my discus else where. I sent him pictures of the fish I got. He said nothing about them just talked to me like a dog and said I didn't read how he wanted me to acclimate the fish. I let him know what I did to acclimate them and that I didn't have a quarantine tank. He thended told me I didn't know what I was talking about and that I should not be keeping discus.

I have been in fish retail and a vet tech for over 10 years. Just b/c I don't do it how he does I'm stupid. Sorry he thinks he is gods gift to the world and treats his customers like crap. Don't shop there. His fish are under sized and very under feed not to mention he is not fit to deal with costumer service!

"I just got my order from Somethingsphishy and all I can say is don't order from them. They didn't use a heat pack in the dead of winter and when the parcel arrived the water in the bags was 47 degrees. Negligence on their part. Needless to say everything was dead. They also charged double what it costs to ship for shipping charges ($85 instead of the usual $55 others charge) which they refuse to refund even though they didn't ship properly.

I have ordered several fish from them and one of my fish had fin fungus. We thought it to be natural coloring at first so I didn't email them about anything. After only being in the aquarium less than a week one has fin fungus and that was the natural looking spot or so I thought. I emailed him and I got the official rules back stating if the fish isn't dead at the doorstep then it isn't his problem. This aquarium was set up with exact PH/Amonium/temperature. This is the only fish with it. Just don't buy it doesn't matter if you are loyal customer to this knuckle head or not he could care less. All he wants is his money. Go to Discus Madness they are 10 times better in quality also.

Only gave one star because this site requires the field not be left blank. NO STARS for Somethingsphishy! DO NOT ORDER FROM HIM! I'm out almost $300 and 8 of 10 fish were dead within 18 hours. One arrived with only a couple of tablespoons of water, ALL the bags were mostly deflated. Very rigid, no guarantee beyond delivery. He said my isolation tank wasn't an isolation tank because it had the fish he sent me in it! Quickly got an attitude and started responding in all caps in email and said I was being unreasonable! No phone number. Refused to refund except for the fish that arrived without water. When I told him he need not reply if there was no further negotiation, he responded with one more nastygram to get the last word in, saying he had closed my access to his website--he must do that with everyone who has an issue, which would explain why there are only positive reviews on his site. My only recourse was to pray for him, as he seems to be quite miserable in his existence.
