We wanted something different. Something 1980's modern. We went to a half dozen stores and checked Amazon before we found Society 6. Not only did they have lots and lots of great creative designs, they made it simple to return the first one due to color. What a great place for comforters and other things for the home.
They took my money, sent an email that the product shipped but LIED about it. Every time I order i have to call for my item to ship. 2nd order Customer service text me back once and then I was on my own waiting. I said this is a gift and I need it ASAP! Then they shipped it the slowest way. #NEVERAGAIN. #NOTMYSTORE. #ITHAPPENEDTOME2! (see others with same review
Society 6 is really not that great a site. It promises lots of things, but in the end just does not deliver. I have had to prod them, a couple of times to give me my money. One time they kept my money for an extra month and when I questioned them, they said, oh your money is on the way. Still took a week to get it. I have to admit that I only do this for the fun of it. But, S6 seems to try to make it harder to sell anything. They certainly do not make it easier. If I was really trying to make a living or supplement my income my selling art, there are lots of better sites out there.
I'm pleased with Society6. From the communication and my purchase - I am one very happy customer.

In the past year I have purchased 2x. Both experiences horrible.
The first time they charged my card twice. The 2nd time they tried to tell my cousin, the artist, that I had cancelled the order. This after her seeing the trays. As many reviewers state, they don't have a phone number, everything is done by email. Just horrible
Ordered 2 framed prints in August for daughter for X-Mas. Turned out to be cheap. They don't provide a phone number. After several email attempts we ONLY received automated emails. They REFUSE to provide a phone number, and REFUSE to call us. Horrible customer service. They cite their 60 day refund policy but package came so heavily packed in August that we just wrapped it and she opened it on Christmas and does not want it. Not as advertised. Their resolution - through and AUTOMATED EMAIL response - if a 30% off coupon asking us to spend more money with their SCAM company. I would avoid this company at ALL costs!
Society6 made a great job in offer support for the order I didn't recivied and couldn't track.
They promptly made a replacement without charges and send it to me.
Fortunately my order arrived in the same day they package the replacement (very well packed and with no harm).
The attendance was quick and attentive!

If they get your email address, you will get 3-5 emails/day! No matter if you call and email them asking them to stop and unsubscribe repeatedly... this company is relentless and will not stop sending emails despite repeated requests to be removed from mailing lists and unsubscribing. I'll NEVER order from them again! They are blowing up my phone every single day! I block them every which way and the emails keep on coming. RUN FROM THIS COMPANY!
Ordered a tapestry that boasted vibrant colors, glittery and sparkling. The picture depicted was GORGEOUS. It truly looked like a quality piece of art worthy of hanging in my daughters room. Spent $30 (ON SALE!) only to receive what appears to me to be an old sheet with some low quality resolution prints on it. Horrible. Absolutely horrible. Reached out "customer service" via email and have yet to receive a response. I am extremely disappointed at how sub-par this item is. I am embarrassed to even admit I ordered from here. NEVER AGAIN.
I love their products and wanted to write a comment on their site stating my thorough satisfaction. However, every time I tried to submit a comment, it failed to appear. I contacted them and Cezil was very helpful in trying to determine the problem. He sent me very user-friendly, detailed things to try, such a clearing my cache, etc. After a few emails, he discovered the problem: I was trying to leave comments that were simply too long! Throughout it all, Cezil was so kind and patient and very knowledgeable.
I have bought a couple of items at this store, I spend hours looking at your website because there are so many cute stuff that I wish I could buy all of them!
But what I really love the most is your blog. It's truly inspirational and supportive! Your chosen artists are so cool, I love it. Keep the good work :D
I never received an order and after several follow-ups and a month and a half of waiting I finally got someone to answer me since they don't have a phone number for you to reach a human being. In the email with no explanation as to where my product went or what would happen had I not been trying to track them down (after taking my money 6 wks ago) they asked me if I want to re-issue it or refund. It was actually a gift which never arrived so it's a little disappointing to asked to start again after six weeks. I never received an order and after several follow-ups and a month and a half of waiting I finally got someone to answer me since they don't have a phone number for you to reach a human being. I'm believable literally have my brother not told me it never arrived I would've assumed he got it since I never heard a peep from society six about where the product was. Buyer Beware oh and of course they offered me nothing to compensate me for my wasted time and bad service
I ordered a backpack and it was shipped faster than expected. I ended up not needed the backpack even though it had full detail with nothing messed up. When I emailed the company to make a return, they immediately responded and said not to worry about sending it back and gave me the full refund anyway.
I dont know with all of the other reviews but im really satisfied with the quality I got. Amazing customer servie too, i told them the tapestry I ordered had some pink tint on it that I didnt really notice on the preview picture and I wanted to just return it and have an exchange for a new tapestry with a different print. To my surprise they just let me keep it and they refunded my money for me to buy the tapestry I wanted.
Saved me time to return it and hassle. Thank you so much!
Only thing is the shipping was a bit slow for me Im from Canada it took I think 2 weeks - 3 weeks? I wasnt in a hurry anyway.
Despite complaints I've seen about how long it takes for them to ship, I got my tapestry within the week. The print is good quality and the right colors so the website is not misleading, in my experience. The fabric is a little thin and I wish it was cheaper. I'm glad I bought this tapestry because it goes perfectly in my dorm, but I probably wont order from them again because they are very expensive for the quality.
Oh my goodness, the reviews below vary from awesome to aweful. I'm very pleased with Society6. I've made many purchases. The towels are lovely quality, amazing artistic print. I admit not being able to call them is frustrating, but their Online Help Centre responds promptly to Sent queries using the online form. I've had positive help & feedback. The only thing I must point out is, their clothing sizes is smaller fit than would be expected. I'm in Canada too, so I don't like the duty taxes added, and extra canadian courier fee to deliver. This needs to improve. Overall, Society6 is unique. I wish they would open online in Canada.
Hello all who read this, i felt it only fair to return here to update the events and interactions between Society 6 online shop and myself. A customer service manager / Vice President reached out to me via e-mail to obtain the details and order number so he could investigate it. I gave him the requested information and thought " well thats probably the last i will hear from the company" but about 2 weeks later the VP / Customer Service Manager e-mailed me a kind apology and a full (100%) refund. I was completely shocked, but in a most pleasant way this time. It restored my faith in Society6 intent and people but -and here's the BIG BUT, until their customer to customer service agent communication is made functional, i would be very uneasy purchasing from the company. They made good and i appreciate their integrity in this matter and i really hope they find a way to open a direct phone line (manned) to better assure customer confidence, service and satisfaction. Thank you to " SITEJABBER.Com" for being the forum in which Society6 was able to learn of the unsatisfactory experience and Thank you to Society6 for making amends.

I can never wrap my head around the variety of designs and they are all from individual designers. I have purchased bags, pouches and mugs. I have ever regretted a purchase.
Bought a comforter from them they had a picture of what it was supposed to look like when I received it it was a cheap imitation of what I ordered.

So you would have to cover duties since the shipment would be coming from the United States. I would definitely recommend checking with Canadian Customs to see what the requirements are for charging duties and break your order up into smaller orders.
