Communication is GREAT!
October 15, 2014

Communication is GREAT! High quality products at a very fair price. Probably the nicest duvet cover we have EVER purchased. Products shipped out to us quickly and we were able to track where it was and when. Customer Service support is top notch! We highly recommend this company to everyone!

I am actually a seller and buyer on society6 and I feel that I should leave a review from both sides of the transaction.

The ease of using this service for artists is amazing! The image that you submit to the website has to be extremely high otherwise the final products are not so good. I learnt this through trial and error.

The shipping could be a little faster however I can understand the length of time as they are a made to order service. YouTube some of their production and you will see what it takes a few extra days. Its incredible.

Anyone interested can check out my page and ask any questions from a buy or sellers perspective, would be happy to answer them http://society6.com/SaraPaxtonArtworks

I would also like to add that is website is extremely good for artist, designers and creatives trying to start something or get their work out there so the site definitely deserves a thumbs up for that as well!

I ordered 3 throw pillows about 2 weeks ago from Society 6. I am so pleased with my order. Not only was the shipping fast but the quality is amazing. I was worried they wouldn't look as good as the image shot on their website but I think they look even better!

Purchased a few printed shirts. The shirt was American Apparel which was nice, but the print was a mess. One print was "doubled" all over. Looks like they printed 2 times with the print being slightly unaligned the second time. The other print was off center and the 3rd was fine. I exchanged the other 2 which was a pain, the response time to emails was over 3 days each time. I got my exchange taking over 4 weeks to complete. Then I washed them... the prints just don't hold up. 2 washing's and Im already seeing cracks. My brother ordered a phone case in the time this all happened and the phone case was super cheap looking for the price and the logo is already rubbing off! All around not satisfied with the product or service.

Society6 needs to lower their prices on their phone cases. They have many nice phone cases but are far too expensive for the range they should be in. Society6 phone cases would be very popular if they lowered their prices on their cases, maybe the highest price at about $15.

Outstanding print quality - in fact, the best I have ever seen. Bought a canvas print and couldn't be happier with what I got. Shipping was fastisch (got my package 4 days after I placed my order - should be faster but I understand it is print on demand and just made for me). Customer Service was superb - they responded to my question in less than an hour.

Keep up the great work Society6 - you rock!

I ordered two womens Game of Thrones tshirts by Mike Wrobel and they arrived within 2 weeks of ordering (I live in New Zealand). They were both good quality and the prints were great, plus the shirt colour matched the sample online which I was a bit uncertain about. However in future I would order a size large rather than medium, which is a bit ridiculous considering I'm a slim average sized woman! Just a bit too tight around the chest and neck for optimal comfort. Also, the natural coloured shirt is a bit see through, as is the case with all light shirts I suppose. The cinder colour for the other shirt is beautiful! I was concerned after reading all these horrific reviews, but I'll definitely be using Society6 again:)

Also, free shipping!

I just made an account on Society6 to try it out. First they charged me $1 to become a seller by verifying my paypal account.

I began to upload a product test, and put it for sale, and was disallowed any way of editing its price and it simply posted to the site for sale.

The navigation of the site is very difficult and there is no clear menu item to review your store or its products (in fact I saw NO link to my store or lists of items).

Once I found my item by clicking on its actual link, there was no options to me while I was logged in, to do anything with my image.

I clicked 'edit' on the item and it allows me to change the description, title and keywords, but nowhere was it seen anyway of setting the price.

Perhaps the site is broken as of this post, but as I edited the entry, the image I uploaded disappeared and the entry on my 'store' became empty, with only description and details remaining. So I intuitively tried to 'edit' the item again by perhaps re-uploading the image and ensuring "Post this right away to be sold", but then I got the message
"Upload limit passed" or w/e.

I simply cancelled the account and moved on.
Always, always, always upload a 'test image' that you don't mind possibly being 'stolen' or 'hijacked' or 'suddenly disappeared by', until you know full well the site works as it should.

I want my dollar back. $1 to verify my paypal just to sell? Lame.

I see many other artists selling on that site, don't understand why I'm getting the run around, and the FAQ and menus and site layout do nothing to help aid the administration of your store or products in any way.

When I ordered this case I wondered how long it would take and came to this site. After reading the reviews, I got worried that it would take much longer than expected. After waiting a few days, however, and tracking my order online, I recieved my iPhone case in less than a week!

I had problems with Sociaty6 way back with my first order of iPhone case. My order simply went missing TWICE. I tried to work things out with customer service but I got wishy-washy replies. When my second package never arrived I was not impressed. I asked for money back, which I did receive after a LONG back and forth argument, insulting email exchanges etc. I was VERY disappointed.
Two years go by, I decided to give them another chance. After all they carry few of my favourite artists. So I ordered two framed prints, $35 each. I payed for everything on line, including shipping. When I got my order (US to Canada), I had to pay over $20 of COD!
UNBELIEVABLE!
Nowhere was there a mentioning of COD. What am I CODing for? I payed for shipping, taxes and products, there is no reason at all for me to pay COD.
I was not impressed. Week later (silly me), there was a promotion for FREE SHIPPING on most of their items. I thought to myself "great. I wish I ordered my frames with this promotion". So I ordered 2 mugs, one as a gift, one for myself. Guess what? That Free shipping is a lie, you still will pay COD again.
The quality of the products is ok, nothing to brag about. The prints are barely postcard quality. It is NOT what I get from other shops.
My advise? Be very careful, or don't even bother. Try to find those amazing artist via Facebook and see if they sell somewhere else. A lot of them sell on Etsy. You will be better off buying somewhere else.
Such a SHAME!

UPDATE! (August, 2014): After leaving above review, I was contacted by Society6's Customer Service Representative. Patrick not only apologized for hearing about my experience, but also fully refunded both of my orders ($123.00 value).

I wish I would have looked them up before I ordered anything from them. I oreder four painting form the at about 100$ a pop. Just like everyone else has said I have yet to get a tracking number for my order. They have a phone number but when you call it they say we do not have support over the phone. I have yet to receive my order or my tracking number. DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM THEM. Also when you try to contact them throw face book there is no way of getting a hold of them.

The selection it very nice but their prices are a little rough. The biggest factor in my bad review is the shipping. I received an email saying the product (a couple of shirts) was shipped out on the 11th. Was told it would take a day for tracking info to become available. 5 days later I finally get tracking info saying that the order just left that day... It's been two days now and there has been no update as to where my order might be...

I wanted to check up on sizes before ordering a t-shirt, just to see what others said about them (so I'd know whether to get a medium or small, I'm always wary of buying clothes online because of fit etc). I am honestly shocked to come across so many bad reviews for the site, I have had nothing but good experiences so far!

Free shipping has always been free, I have had no extra costs added and the site does say that custom fees may be added depending on the laws of the country that you live in. All the complaints I've seen about free shipping appear to be based in Canada, so maybe there is an issue with customs there? But I haven't had a problem, the cost has always come to exactly what was stated before buying.

So far I have bought 6 pillowcases, a phone case, a mug, an art print and a t-shirt. The pillowcases are all beautiful, good quality colour and fabric. The mug was, again, good quality print and the mug itself was fine - I could get worse mugs for more money with no print, so very good value. The art print is beautiful, colours are clear, and so is the phone case - there has been one small crack in a delicate area since I bought it, but that's only because I constantly drop my phone so I think that's fair enough. The t-shirt orginally came in a men's medium, not a women's, but customer service was very quick once I mentioned this and my refunded women's sized shirt is in the post now. Shirt and printing quality is very good.

As for the wait for shipping - I am almost literally on the other side of the world, and the shipping has been very efficient. For every order I have been notified of progress up until the order is sent, and then it's been between 2-4 weeks to receive each item - standard practice from U. S to NZ. (Amazon takes over 5 weeks, the book depository around 3).

I am saddened to see that people have had issues with the site, my experience has only ever been good with them!

I was very worried as I read all these reviews after I had ordered from society6. However, my experience wasn't at all a horror story. I bought two shirts, a v-neck and a tank top, both on dark fabric. I live in Canada as well, but didn't have to pay any extra fees on customs/duties when I ordered the shirts with the free international shipping offer. Maybe it's a... provincial thing? The shirts came in around 2 weeks. The print on the v-neck turned out great, but the quality of the tank top print was very poor and dull. I contacted them about it and received a response on the same day. The customer service was great and very responsive. I was able to get a refund without any hassle, and I didn't have to send the shirt back or anything. I would definitely order again.

Well I ordered an iPhone 5 case which is normally $35. Plus shipping it comes up to 45. Convert to CAD it cost me about 50 plus. Then when it got shipped I had to pay an extra $11 for taxes or what not. I can say it was pretty pricey to get my iPhone case. It was a cool case but the total amount of everything I paid for was a bit too much.

I ordered two large prints. They both turned up quickly and I was really pleased with the excellent quality. Last year I purchased a print from red bubble, it was awful quality (had been photocopied from a book), cost a fortune to ship, and despite paying express it was still very late. Expect to pay additional tax if ordering from the UK.

Ordered four t-shirts during a free international shipping weekend and was really happy with the products supplied. I ordered on a sunday and received my items just over a week later and I live in England and was expecting it to be nearly three weeks, so I'm very happy no complaints!
