I booked air ticket online though SmartFares.com. The original ticket was $1671. 40. Flight should be from New York to Istanbul and back to New York on 7/21-7/24/22. Unfortunately I had to cancel my trip, I called the SmartFares, they offer me a future credit, but I have to pay cancelation and issue fee $ 350. I paid that money and got future credit of $ 1671. 40
When I decided to go for my trip, SmartFares booked me new ticket on the dates 9/25-10/2/2022, but asked me to pay $145 for airline charge. The price for the new ticket never was given to me, they said my full credit was used for new ticket in $1641. 40. But I checked the other sites for the same flight and same class of ticket price was around $1300. So SmartFares overcharged me almost for $300 for a ticket. And I paid extra $350+$145 as a fees. I called the SmartFares to request explanation and get the price of the ticket, but they said what they have their own calculations and my full credit covers the price of new ticket. But I know for sure the airline sold the tickets on the same flight and the same category of ticket for $1300. I feel robbed. Never had that kind of experience. Highly not recommend to use this site

To honest I will never use this site again or even recommend anyone to for that matter. I booked my flight for a specific price with frontier Airlines and then after the money was deducted from my credit card and upon waiting for my ticket confirmation nothing just pending. Upon furthur query I was told some crap about the flight not been available and I am not able to cancell with a penalty. If it was my error I could understand but why have a flight on your site that is not available and have me booked the flight. This is one customer you will never see again, I am aware that this one bad experience and Comment from me won't affect you guys but wanted you to know so improvement can be made so this doesn't happen to anyone. I can not remember been so stress out.

Never buy your tickets via this company, worst customer service! Booked online from Bahrain to California but it automatically changed the departing airport to Saudi to instead of Bahrain and when I called to change this error they advised me to cancel the entire reservation and till today they refuse to refund me
After the airline cancelled my flight, Smartfares offered to rectify the situation by charging me an additional $360 to rebook my cancelled flight. After over 6 phone calls, being hung up on several times, very rude representatives and hours of being on hold, no solution was reached unless I paid more for a flight that was cancelled and I had no control over.

I have booked the AirIndia ticket through SmartFares (3069). I had a horrible experience with SmartFare related to ticket booking and refund. I discussed with SmartFare related to a small correction in the spelling and they charged around $900 and then I requested to cancel the return ticket 90 days prior. They assured me around $402 (for two tickets) then later they refunded only $212. I have called customer care related to all this issue and gave some non-sense reasons. The overall conclusion is that don't book any Airline tickets with SmartFare.
The worst company literal one year and still they don't resolve my case. One year! They are rude, they always said I promise in 24 hours we are going to resolve this matter. Don't do business with them.
People don't use this website. They are scammers. They took $195 from me for 22 kg luggage allowance, while in the airport we found our allowance is only 5 kg. When we contacted them they asked for 500 dollare to fix the problem and said that the airline has changed their policy over night. They lied, I was AT the airline check-in. They will never give you a refund for scamming you.

The next day you will receive an email to call them immediately because they were unable to confirm your flight. When you call them back, they will try to sell you another flight at a much higher price. SCAM SCAM AVOID!

Answer: Yes. They stated because of flight increase they canceled my flights. Then they wanted me to pay a balance of what the new increase was. So disappointing. I paid for four fares. They took the funds from the bank n then canceled my flights.
