Well I was in a jam trying to book with my usual app (Expedia). They ended up charging me twice for the flight insurance and saying the ticket price changed so payment failed. Hours later, So annoyed I searched google and went through smartfares. Was done booking in minutes

It was good. Had a little scare at the beginning when I did not get a confirmation booking within 15hrs upon doing the reservation. Needed to call the cx service and my bank a few times to resolve the tiny issue with the payment. But, all in all it was good since the agents I've talked with did helped me well.
The process of booking, selection of items borders deceitful and sketchy. The reservations are not immediate. And the time the take to send confirmation goes past the free cancellation period and so, you are stuck with the tkt. Bought a checked bag but it was not included in the tkt.

Answer: Yes. They stated because of flight increase they canceled my flights. Then they wanted me to pay a balance of what the new increase was. So disappointing. I paid for four fares. They took the funds from the bank n then canceled my flights.
