I didn't have a great experience w/ Smart Fares. I found this website with Kayak, but there are a lot of hidden fees (Cancellation & Seats Placement) that weren't properly announced. Also, I paid w/ PayPal and they're wasn't a recap before the payment confirmation. I wrote to the company the same day and haven't got a reply yet (4 days). Wouldn't recommend.

First time I used SmartFares and was easy and straightforward. Lots of contact information if needed to speak to someone, which gave me an ease that I can talk to a human. But didn't need to call yet so don't know how that will turn out.

The next day you will receive an email to call them immediately because they were unable to confirm your flight. When you call them back, they will try to sell you another flight at a much higher price. SCAM SCAM AVOID!

Answer: Yes. They stated because of flight increase they canceled my flights. Then they wanted me to pay a balance of what the new increase was. So disappointing. I paid for four fares. They took the funds from the bank n then canceled my flights.
