The ticket cost end up not being what was advertised.
SmartFare took too long to get in touch and explain reasons for not processing payment.
1) credit card payment was pending for hours. The airline had changed the fare form what was originally posted, which was misleading. And I did not canceled because there would be a fee.
2) when I was finally able to speak on the phone, the fare had changed, there was a long waiting time to resolve issue
3) too many steps to confirm information through external sites "traveler Helpdesk" it looked like phishing emails.
4) it took three calls to get to the cause for fare change and payment delay. The interface and App could be improved in that sense.
When you are going to book, the Smarthfares page does not give you a transparent information about the baggage. Also there was a confusing option like "adding a bag + bag protection" which eventually turned out to be just a protection and NO bag. Also when I called SmartFares, one of the assistants just did not want to give me any information, the other one did, but the information later turned out not to be correct. Well, there are many things I could say are very poor. I would not return to book with SmarthFare. I have done booking with many other web agents for flights and this has been the worst experience so far. There are many more web agents who give much more exact informaton about what you are gonna get with your purchase.
I found a very good price for my ticket which I received very quickly, I am waiting for the solution of a problem with another reservation, which I know will be solved correctly

The next day you will receive an email to call them immediately because they were unable to confirm your flight. When you call them back, they will try to sell you another flight at a much higher price. SCAM SCAM AVOID!

Answer: Yes. They stated because of flight increase they canceled my flights. Then they wanted me to pay a balance of what the new increase was. So disappointing. I paid for four fares. They took the funds from the bank n then canceled my flights.
